I have to say I think the Nazis had the right idea when it comes to laws against homosexuality and other deviant sexual acts, I say bring back the pink triangles!!:

The Nazi's passed other laws that targetted sex offenders. In 1933, they enacted the Law Against Dangerous Habitual Criminals and Measures for Protection and Recovery. This law gave German judges the power to order compulsary castrations in cases involving rape, defilement, illicit sex acts with children (Paragraph 176), coercion to commit sex offences (paragraph 177), the committing of indescent acts in public including homosexual acts (paragraph 183), murder or manslaughter of a victim (paragraphs 223-226), if they were committed to arouse or gratify the sex drive, or homosexual acts with boys under 14. The Amendment to the Law for the Prevention of Offspring with Hereditary Diseases dated June 26, 1935 allowed castration indicated by reason of crime for men convicted under paragraph 175 if the men consented. A May 20, 1939 memo from Himmler allows concentration camp prisoners to be blackmailed into castration.

There are 11 quadrillion bits of information in the human genome. There are 11 million bits of information in the western brown frog. If we gave the western brown frog 1 million years to evolve into a man, 11 million bits of information would have to be produced every year. To date no scientist has observed even 1 bit of new information being created. Remember when this so called theory came out in the 1800s they didnt know about DNA.

I've tried to lay out my reasoning in a logical and objective manner. Now I'm an agnostic-atheist. I don't think we can prove or disprove, but I think none is the more likely answer. I respect believers though. Now if God is all powerful, all knowing, and ALL GOOD (as most Christians accept) who do I think that person is more likely to like in this thread me or abs?
I think God (if he exists) is siding with me much more than with abs. In fact I bet he is saddened by his behavior and NOT mine in this thread.

You love to poke holes in theory of evolution yet cannot provide a shred of evidence for the existence of an all mighty deity. The Judeo-Christian scriptures have been bastardized and borrowed from cultures far older into their canon (e.g. Horus/Jesus, floods, serpents, etc.). There is very little that is original within the Tanakh and/or NT that isn't found elsewhere. There's also the hypocrisy of cherry picking which portions of the Tanakh that modern Christians choose to endorse, yet then turn around and say that it's not valid in other instances.
How about this point: humans are extremely arrogant. We believe that we are the superior beings yet we can't even figure how many megalithic structures were created. However, by the same token, we think that we'll be able to conceive the origins of our universe.

Now how important that is too evolution is debateable as some think the mutation (changes in regulatory sequence) in existing genes plays a far greater role
But ultimately this again goes back to the questioning of the mechanism and not really questioning the scientific fact of evolution. There is an actual debate around evoultion but it is essentialy asking how it happened not if it did happen, which is what you are attempting to ask.

Ok, so if this is the article (i still cant get into that site) then it is saying that new "genes" were created. Fine, except genes already have DNA information in them. It doesn't say if the information in those genes are new as well. You can have new genes by using information that you already have.

there is no reason to hate gays, any more than you should hate anyone else who is a sinner, which includes all of us. i may not approve of being gay, but i have done many things in my life that i don't approve of either. in all honesty i can think of many worse things than 2 men sleeping together, child molestation being tops on my list.

I have no issue with any of that, but keep in mind the original quote had a guy comparing homosexuality to bestiality. That's not as cruel and demented as abs making all Christians look bad by saying Hitler should be back, but I'm HIGHLY offended by the comparison. Someone who is gay has done absolutely nothing wrong and cannot help it that they are attracted to someone of the same sex just as I cannot help it that I am attracted to the opposite sex.
Those who think homosexuality is a choice lack logic. I've explained this many times. No ONE is actively picking to be gay. No ONE grows up wanting that. My brothers life would be FAR easier if he was straight. Really all gay people want is for people to get over it and to be treated the same. Just like black people before them, women, etc.
That said if my brother goes to hell and abs goes to heaven then trust me God wasn't worth believing in in the first place. One of those people is great for society and the other one is awful in the absolute extreme. And really it isn't that hard to get.
And I could give two ****s about people "liking or agreeing with it." I don't care if anyone likes or agrees with black people...they should have the same rights as me a white guy. I don't care if anyone likes or agrees with gay people....they should have the same rights as me a straight person.
How can ANYONE in 2014 be against equality of opportunity? You'd think one of these days we'd be over this stuff. I hope one day we are.

Homosexuality should be accepted. There's no reason to hate on that basis alone.. However as a society to make it normal is a decline in morality.
I saw a TV commercial the other day. There were 3 muppets. MUPPETS. 2 guys one girl. The guys are all, "Hey Cowboy!" To each other then start making out. As a parent I'm disgusted by this. It is a true degradation of all things moral to target kids and make homosexuality normal. Kids need to learn about sex between men and women.
Be gay. Fine. I'll still be your friend. But keep that **** away from my kids and behind closed doors. It is not normal. Man/woman. Thats normal. Thats right. Bottom line.

I find it ironic when so many people are up in arms about gay marriage when the heterosexual marriage divorce rates are nearly 50%.
