Great day; squat is still feeling light, so just continuing to milk it by adding 20lbs a week.
Badass, man. Really wanting to watch some of the strongman contests. Is it televised or does anyone know where it is being streamed (assuming it is)?
Rogue is streaming all the Pro Men’s events live on YouTube, and then the vids will remain up. I bet the Husafell Stone carry is already done!

Arnold was dope, per usual. We were bummed we didn’t go Friday too but just wasn’t a good time to take extra time off at work with the wedding coming up. Lots of wicked feats of strength. Thor smoked a 1,045 Elephant bar deadlift, Shaw tore his hamstring going for 1,049 (Caron, Pritchett, & Kieliszkowski also had hammy tears in the event), Kristin Rhodes & Liefia Ingalls tied to set a new official record on the circus dumbbell - both pressed 165 for a double. Donna Moore loaded a 324lb Stone to 40” without tacky FIVE times, and pressed a solid 220 axle overhead for 10 reps. Thor also beat his weight over bar record again. Blaine Sumner benched 1,003 single ply in the IPF (that was nuts) and I didn’t get to watch it but Ray Williams squat 1,080 in knee sleeves in the IPF.
Two friends made the finals on the main stage Sunday & both took 3rd in their respective classes at the Amateur World Championship, and another training partner had some good deadlifting in the XPC 21 Deadlift Salute (672 good & narrow miss at lockout on 694lbs in 220 multiply class). Got to meet some lifters like JP Carrol and Janae (Matt) Kroc - it’s awesome to meet your idols and find them be so cool and down to earth.
Got to hang with Kristen Rhodes a lot Saturday at the bar (nobody is more accomplished in strongwoman) and she gave me a lot of awesome advice about when her bicep was repaired. Also talked with one of Brian Shaw’s training partners who was able to share really good feedback about he came back from his tear, as well as a few other pros about theirs. Basically my peptide protocol is spot on, but I can start getting a lot more aggressive with the rehab already. Lots of encouragement - apparently the anchor will be so strong now I will actually rupture my muscle belly before I would detach it again at the elbow.
A very exciting weekend!

Curious your peptide protocol i may have seen it been creeping a lot of threads, I ran ghrp-6 cjc-1295 w/Dac, with mk-677 for just over two months noticed aches and pains suddenly appearing after I stopped and also body hair and facial hair was much softer looking to do another run here shortly pm me if you don’t want to derail the thread
That Licis guy is a stud when it comes to dynamic events (good showing in the wheel of pain and Hussa carry). Some more work with his pull and pressing as he ages and he could be real legit. Think they said hes only 25 right now, or maybe that was the other kid who won the Amateur show last year, who also put on a pretty impressive showing given that he missed the wheel of pain altogether.

Nothing fancy, just proven - 5mg of TB500 once a week pinned however anywhere, and going to start BPC-157 daily pinned subq locally (this can be added as soon as local inflammation from surgery is gone) since I am getting towards the last week of TB.
Also taking 10mg Ostarine daily to aid the tendon healing & 20mg Mk677 nightly to elevate IGF1 levels. CJC1295 w/ DAC would further drive this and only needs pinned once a week, but I would rather buy more TB500 for the money since tissue healing is more important than nitrogen retention ultimately.
He’s 27-8 I believe; we’re extremely close in age. Since I met him at the fit expo almost 3 years ago through Jessica he has gained about 65lbs and raised his deadlift and press about 200/100lbs, respectively. He smoked that 970 pull and will definitely go over 1,000 next year if he stays on pace. He can win WSM in the coming years if he stays with it all - he is a crazy athlete with a crazier mindset. He is really as goofy as his videos and a pretty nice guy, the little I’ve talked to him. Before Jessica and I got together they actually started talking long distance for a minute, but never came to pass since he was in CA. But can you imagine how strong their baby could have been???![]()
Ah, yes. I definitely morphed Licis and the fella from Ukraine into one guy for a second there. Licis is a brute no doubt and I absolutely agree a he is a contender in the not so long term. And LOL, that kid would've popped out of the womb and pressed a 100lb circus db the next day.
I was talking about the foreign kid, Oleksii Novikov, when talking about the young dude (25) who had a good showing on the stone and wheel of pain. Iirc he finished second to Thor in both of those.
Ok cool cool, I ve read a fair bit about bpc-157 not so much tb-500 I know about it but that’s about it, strictly using this for healing or do you feel be worth while for preventative aswell?
Awesome, Hyde ! Progressing while injured!
So pumped I could barely take my glasses off to mop my brow!Sounds like everything is going well right now.
So the new diet, is it still IF or are you doing meals spread a little more throughout the day?
I see things are continuing to progress quite nicely in here. And those ssb box squats, Christ almighty. Interested in seeing how those bloods are looking.
Did they do pre-op labs on you? I doubt they went crazy with that surgery but maybe got a CMP you could use to compare transaminsases with. Also would have glucose for that matter.
I just read through some of the posts on supplements. Pretty interesting stuff...I will say, regarding the Carditone, his post didnt state that they were as effective as one another. Just that he recommends Carditone if a guy wont go to a provider and try to get Lisinopril. I didnt read that linked study though. Either way, awesome page. I was trying to figure out a boron dosing regimen for a while and found it on his page in 30s.
Some people think it looks crazy but that looks so good!
Hmm. I do eat cream of wheat pre training fairly frequently but usually just toss in a half scoop of protein. Some blueberries would be an awesome and very simple add on. Truly terrified of that Walden's Farms syrup though...tried the chocolate syrup years ago on some ice cream and did NOT tolerate it well at all.
I ordered some boron today lol. Actually, dropped $255 on Amazon on a 4 month supply of a lot of these for me. Bergamot, Arjuna, Astragalus, Curcumin (to stack with my Orange Health iQ dose), 4lbs of ground flaxseed ($9!), Boron, Carditone for when I go back on.
Carditone he didn’t say it was as effective - but read the testimonials on the Amazon reviews. So strong for some people they can’t even use it, it can lower BP so seriously. Sounds like it’s dose dependent as well as builds up in your system over time so you can lower dose after a bit.

Sounds awesome! I got into a new belt hole this week too.
