Started left arm therapy then and forgot to do actual curls on right arm Great day; squat is still feeling light, so just continuing to milk it by adding 20lbs a week.

Booked a room for tomorrow last minute and bought our tickets - we decided we’re leaving at 3am tonight to go hit the Arnold this weekend! Gonna watch some big weights get lifted this weekend

Jealous!!!!

Badass, man. Really wanting to watch some of the strongman contests. Is it televised or does anyone know where it is being streamed (assuming it is)?

Rogue is streaming all the Pro Men’s events live on YouTube, and then the vids will remain up. I bet the Husafell Stone carry is already done!

I’m watching the strongman competition on Rogue’s YouTube channel. Just finished watching the wheel of pain live. Thor missed 1st place by 6 inches. Now watching Husafell Stone replay. Amazing strength being displayed! Exciting entertainment!

Thanks for letting us know about Rogue’s YouTube stream Hyde!

Arnold was dope, per usual. We were bummed we didn’t go Friday too but just wasn’t a good time to take extra time off at work with the wedding coming up. Lots of wicked feats of strength. Thor smoked a 1,045 Elephant bar deadlift, Shaw tore his hamstring going for 1,049 (Caron, Pritchett, & Kieliszkowski also had hammy tears in the event), Kristin Rhodes & Liefia Ingalls tied to set a new official record on the circus dumbbell - both pressed 165 for a double. Donna Moore loaded a 324lb Stone to 40” without tacky FIVE times, and pressed a solid 220 axle overhead for 10 reps. Thor also beat his weight over bar record again. Blaine Sumner benched 1,003 single ply in the IPF (that was nuts) and I didn’t get to watch it but Ray Williams squat 1,080 in knee sleeves in the IPF.

Two friends made the finals on the main stage Sunday & both took 3rd in their respective classes at the Amateur World Championship, and another training partner had some good deadlifting in the XPC 21 Deadlift Salute (672 good & narrow miss at lockout on 694lbs in 220 multiply class). Got to meet some lifters like JP Carrol and Janae (Matt) Kroc - it’s awesome to meet your idols and find them be so cool and down to earth.

Got to hang with Kristen Rhodes a lot Saturday at the bar (nobody is more accomplished in strongwoman) and she gave me a lot of awesome advice about when her bicep was repaired. Also talked with one of Brian Shaw’s training partners who was able to share really good feedback about he came back from his tear, as well as a few other pros about theirs. Basically my peptide protocol is spot on, but I can start getting a lot more aggressive with the rehab already. Lots of encouragement - apparently the anchor will be so strong now I will actually rupture my muscle belly before I would detach it again at the elbow.

A very exciting weekend!

Absolutely brutal session. Was collapsing & rest-pausing on final reps of last few sets of lunges and squats. Fresh snow on my face from right outside the back gym door helped revive me enough to push through. Gonna make gainz from this, no doubt.

Curious your peptide protocol i may have seen it been creeping a lot of threads, I ran ghrp-6 cjc-1295 w/Dac, with mk-677 for just over two months noticed aches and pains suddenly appearing after I stopped and also body hair and facial hair was much softer looking to do another run here shortly pm me if you don’t want to derail the thread

That Licis guy is a stud when it comes to dynamic events (good showing in the wheel of pain and Hussa carry). Some more work with his pull and pressing as he ages and he could be real legit. Think they said hes only 25 right now, or maybe that was the other kid who won the Amateur show last year, who also put on a pretty impressive showing given that he missed the wheel of pain altogether.

Nothing fancy, just proven - 5mg of TB500 once a week pinned however anywhere, and going to start BPC-157 daily pinned subq locally (this can be added as soon as local inflammation from surgery is gone) since I am getting towards the last week of TB.

Also taking 10mg Ostarine daily to aid the tendon healing & 20mg Mk677 nightly to elevate IGF1 levels. CJC1295 w/ DAC would further drive this and only needs pinned once a week, but I would rather buy more TB500 for the money since tissue healing is more important than nitrogen retention ultimately.

He’s 27-8 I believe; we’re extremely close in age. Since I met him at the fit expo almost 3 years ago through Jessica he has gained about 65lbs and raised his deadlift and press about 200/100lbs, respectively. He smoked that 970 pull and will definitely go over 1,000 next year if he stays on pace. He can win WSM in the coming years if he stays with it all - he is a crazy athlete with a crazier mindset. He is really as goofy as his videos and a pretty nice guy, the little I’ve talked to him. Before Jessica and I got together they actually started talking long distance for a minute, but never came to pass since he was in CA. But can you imagine how strong their baby could have been???

Ah, yes. I definitely morphed Licis and the fella from Ukraine into one guy for a second there. Licis is a brute no doubt and I absolutely agree a he is a contender in the not so long term. And LOL, that kid would've popped out of the womb and pressed a 100lb circus db the next day.

I was talking about the foreign kid, Oleksii Novikov, when talking about the young dude (25) who had a good showing on the stone and wheel of pain. Iirc he finished second to Thor in both of those.

Ok cool cool, I ve read a fair bit about bpc-157 not so much tb-500 I know about it but that’s about it, strictly using this for healing or do you feel be worth while for preventative aswell?

Oh lol yeah he was. He got huge since last year; he looked 50lbs heavier than when he won the Amateur Heavy - some great potential it would seem.

Well I’m no expert on these, but I will say that BPC is an amino found in the gut with human studies, while TB is only veterinary tested, so for safety I probably wouldn’t stay on TB indefinitely. But it does sound like you could take them preemptively for spells during intense training cycles. Not for muscle gains directly; rather to help keep things attached where they belong a little better.

Ate a big surplus of food yesterday; appetite was just ravenous so I fed it - big power spike today, accordingly. Did same 8 reps with 40 more lbs than last weeks AMRAP (using 5/3/1 to program the box work). Db pressing with one arm is such a bitch - the stability without having a counterbalance to press heavier weights just isn’t there.

Began pinning 250mcg BPC twice a day subq in left elbow region this week. I am ditching my brace except for sleeping and training. Arm is really starting to feel healthier and I am listening to my body carefully.

Awesome, Hyde ! Progressing while injured!

I’m trying! Been ditching the brace except for sleep and training and my arm seems to really be filling back out. Still looks small obviously, but the muscle looks plumped back up and full, not withered. Mobility and strength continue to make improvements.

Now for bodyweight - I was 227.6 today, up 5lbs from just a few days back! I have been so ravenous for about a week now, and I can’t figure out why (except missing some sleep from the Arnold perhaps). I am waking up hungry as a hippo every morning. Going to have to start adding some significant veggies and salads in.

Fasting today, hopefully until the evening. I need to make a plan and stick with it if I want to get under 215 for the wedding.

Squat still feeling lighter but back was fried after 4th set beltless so I cut it off - will continue to add 20lbs next week. Big deadlifting from the ladies, a great energy.

5 weeks off real cycle now, been taking 10mg Osta, 10mg Nolva (to help keep reduce suppression), 20mg Mk677. Pinning 250-300mcg BPC157 twice a day around left inner elbow. 25mg Proviron most days and just 1 tab Diesel Test Procycle v3 a few days a week in afternoons for some pep - these 2 low-dosed guys have really made such a wonderful difference this off cycle in libido and well-being.

25mg Proviron+1 tab DTPv3 = money for any guy in his 30s+ looking for some drive/pep. Basically combining ultra low, non-suppressive amounts of DHT, DHEA, & Pregnenolone with some herbals. The yohimbe in one tab of DTP is even fine for me, and I’m very sensitive.

Fasted Thursday, one 2,100 calorie clean meal at 11pm of steak, salad, fruits, veggies, cottage cheese, almonds, protein powder. Wrote a serious diet that day, bought & prepped food that night. Yesterday was day one - very much loving the foods so far, lots of greens is a good change of pace. Thinking about getting bloods in a week to see what’s going on and if I should drop the Ostarine or carry on.

Going to try to slowly cut on ~2,600/day average from very bro foods.

Added another 20lbs to beltsquat. Dropped from 15’s to 12’s but did the last 24 reps rest pause to keep the relative intensity higher. Training is still fun but looking forward to when I can start pressing and pulling again! I do miss it.

Sounds like everything is going well right now.

So the new diet, is it still IF or are you doing meals spread a little more throughout the day?

Sounds like everything is going well right now.

So the new diet, is it still IF or are you doing meals spread a little more throughout the day?

Training in the morning, IF isn’t a viable option for me except on off-days (where I do try to hold back til 11-noon at least to start eating). More of a lower fat bro foods approach with a focus on plenty of green veggies, oranges, berries, white meat chicken, ground turkey, eggs. Carbs are all periworkout aside from a meal with a sweet potato & serving of beans daily. Averaging 2600cal but it’s actually lower on off days and a bit higher than when training. Not steep enough to get fast results, but as long as I continue to avoid eating out or deviating from the diet I should definitely make small improvements while continuing to build strength well. I feel like everything I am eating is quality nutrition.

I definitely enjoy all the meals/foods, gut seems to be tolerating things well, energy and strength are good - just have to ride out a little hunger, as you’d expect.

Kinda kicked ass today, despite waking at 4am to get it in before heading into work early. Put up new bests on the 5/3/1 work, good mornings & good girls felt easier, had a great intensity on the Doggcrapp upper accessories.

Added Blue Growth last night pre-bed and did not wake up like I usually do via the Mk677, so may have gotten more restful sleep. Nutrition since last Wednesday has been really clean so that may also be helping. Dropping Ostarine from 10 down to 5mg daily for another week. I want to get bloods and see where I stand next week.

I see things are continuing to progress quite nicely in here. And those ssb box squats, Christ almighty . Interested in seeing how those bloods are looking.

Well, they’re a full inch above parallel, so a good 3” high for me. And I’m literally sumo wide in stance - very different from a full squat. BUT they really seem to be building my back/core strength to stay upright as well as developing hip power, and they’re fun.

I don’t expect Cholesterol to be good right now yet, but if liver enzymes are high that’s a problem because they shouldn’t be, and I wanna know what my test/estrogen/LH is at plus fasting glucose on the Mk677. Presently I’m in the dark other than feeling fine.

Did they do pre-op labs on you? I doubt they went crazy with that surgery but maybe got a CMP you could use to compare transaminsases with. Also would have glucose for that matter.

Nope, I would have fought that tooth and nail as my bloodwork would have definitely precluded me from surgery at the tail end of that competition cycle lol. I can compare it to my bloods from end of October for references, but the absolute numbers are more my concern.

On the subject of bloodwork, Dante Trudel has started an IG and he is straight dropping bombs on bloodwork game changer health supps. I respect his work a lot, and it was eye-opening. I didn’t know there was anything proven to TRULY repair lipid profile by a significant degree (Citrus Bergamot, which also apparently really lowers fasting blood glucose levels), as well as herbal formulations as strong as Lisinopril to control high BP on cycles (Carditone). Plus, it turns out Curcumin actually prevents AND REVERSES cardio myopathy/LVH! And Astragalus can reverse kidney damage from high BP in the first place. Arjuna apparently works better than hawthorn berry for BP, plus boasts liver support and maybe even lipid support. Pretty big discoveries for me.

I just read through some of the posts on supplements. Pretty interesting stuff...I will say, regarding the Carditone, his post didnt state that they were as effective as one another. Just that he recommends Carditone if a guy wont go to a provider and try to get Lisinopril. I didnt read that linked study though. Either way, awesome page. I was trying to figure out a boron dosing regimen for a while and found it on his page in 30s.

I ordered some boron today lol. Actually, dropped $255 on Amazon on a 4 month supply of a lot of these for me. Bergamot, Arjuna, Astragalus, Curcumin (to stack with my Orange Health iQ dose), 4lbs of ground flaxseed ($9!), Boron, Carditone for when I go back on.

Carditone he didn’t say it was as effective - but read the testimonials on the Amazon reviews. So strong for some people they can’t even use it, it can lower BP so seriously. Sounds like it’s dose dependent as well as builds up in your system over time so you can lower dose after a bit.

Had to get up at 6 to work a 12 today since I need to take off tomorrow for a funeral. Still going to fast til noon at least. Been weighing like 226 for about a week now, which is frustrating considering I’m eating so many veggies and still hungry half the time, but at least my training/recovery has been good and I’m not getting fatter.

Hmm. I do eat cream of wheat pre training fairly frequently but usually just toss in a half scoop of protein. Some blueberries would be an awesome and very simple add on. Truly terrified of that Walden's Farms syrup though...tried the chocolate syrup years ago on some ice cream and did NOT tolerate it well at all.

Some people think it looks crazy but that looks so good!

Man it is so good! Tastes as good as it digests.

1/4 cup Cream of Rice heated w/ 1 cup water, stir in 1tbsp nut butter when it’s hot to melt it (greatly extends the release of the energy over training session), then add 1 cup frozen berries - they instantly thaw, as well as instantly cooling the scalding rice! The Pure Via dextrose/stevia sweetener just makes it dessert. Walden Farms only use a tbsp if you use any - totally unnecessary with the berries & stevia!

~58g carbs, 10 fat, 350 calories of premium fuel. Heat & eat in 10 minutes while I’m getting ready to head to the gym.

Beltsquat

Lunges
115/leg

Also trained yesterday: Doggcrapp upper body (high, mid, & Meadows row, chest & shoulder press, concentration & hammer curls), calves, abs. Even used my left arm, with no weight on any of the machines! Felt pretty good. Really pleased to be getting up into the beltsquat weights I am at this volume, so going to keep driving those onward. Lunges I ran out of time (was supposed to do 175/leg) but I am going to pull back the volume anyway and start loading them next week now that I can do 20-25/leg/set. Legs looking pretty beefy.

Getting some nice leg work in there Hyde!

Bloodwork ordered & scheduled for Saturday morning! Also got muh supps in from Amazon. Added in a tab/day of Arjuna, 1.5g Astragalus dosed 2x a day, 6mg Boron 2x a day, and 500mg more Curcumin (already taking 500 in Health iQ). Going to be using 2tbsp of the cold ground flaxseed as often as I can as well. I want to see what bloodwork shows before deciding to add citrus bergamot and/or drop the 5mg Ostarine. Proviron will be gone after this week for sure, and I will drop the 10mg Nolva likely as well.

Also beginning to incorporate Berberine (Blue Sugar) daily, spread out. Really want to get my fasting glucose down and insulin sensitivity up right now so I can grow better when I can train my upper body again.

I believe I’m going to start a 2 week wave of Clen starting tomorrow. I was 600 calories higher than I planned last week (total) but for me to exercise that much consistent control that I was constantly in a deficit, even traveling for a funeral, I know I’m ready. Weight was 224.2 this morning and I look better than a month ago no doubt.

My old pair of minibands is nearly torn through and forgot to pack the new pair, so used the fiancé’s fresh pair of monsters. Didn’t really mind the extra tension on the high squats as it was a lighter week, but damn if I didn’t think my head was going to explode from the pressure on good mornings! Feeling pretty wiped out.

Started Clen at 40mcg today after training. A little shaky but otherwise feeling fine. I had to bring my powerbelt in a hole this morning, and I’m down a belt hole as well on any pair of pants I’m wearing.

So you could say things are getting pretty serious

Sounds awesome! I got into a new belt hole this week too.

That is always a great feeling!

Today is 7 weeks post op. Saw the doc this morning who said things are healing great, and I can come back in 4 weeks to see the surgeon - he expects the surgeon will probably clear me to begin lifting with it then. Met with a PT who took ROM measurements to evaluate repaired side vs healthy & created a daily mobility plan for me to get me back to full ROM over the next 4 weeks.

If surgeon clears me on April 18th, I’ll have 4 weeks exactly to start putting some muscle back on before the wedding!
