How to "pulse" orals

I've been pulsing 30 mg of Mdrol for a little over a month now and have been VERY impressed with the results. I've been using a 1 day on/2days off dosing protocol. Using this, I have seen a slight, but consistent strength gains nearly every workout. Typically, I've been able to add 2.5 lbs on my working weights on the major lifts.

Last night, I did my liver panel last night to see how my liver was doing:

Total Protein 6.8 (Normal range =6.1-7.9)
Albumin 3.9 (3.5-5.0)
TBil 1.0 (0.3-1.2)
ALP 32 (32-91)
AST 44* (15-41)
ALT 69* (7-56)

*Historically, this is about baseline AST/ALT levels for me.

Seeing that everything looks okay, I plan to continue this pulse cycle until my bottle of Mdrol is gone. With careful monitoring of course.

On my days off, I've been using NAC, milk thistle, and Novadex XT. I do have some bottle of Superdrol NG laying around, and it seems like it could be a decent test booster. Anybody ever use NG like that before? Any other insights would be appreciated.

my plan is 5 weeks pulse 2pills/day with 300mg 6oxo on off days
3 weeks Testostogrow
1 week off
REPEAT.
dr d, can i safely bump the dosage to 3 pills a day for 4 weeks, instead of 2/pills a day for 5 weeks?

thats 37.5mg SD/150 prostanz. is that safe for pulsing? thanks in advance.

Looks pretty good! Yes, NG is great pre-w/o performance support, plus it contains ATD in low doses which helps to block any shutdown coinciding with your dosing around w/o's.

I can't answer questions like that before knowing your whole medical history and stuff, and even then I could only speculate based off my experience and understanding. I have never tried that particular brand either, so who knows. I will say that either one of your plans looks like it would be effective, and the two compounds listed on the label stack fine.

Hey Doc, I have original AX SD and a few bottles of Generic Labz' Mega-Zol (i.e. Prostan clone at 50mg/cap) lying around. If I was to pulse SD 3 times per week at 20mg for five weeks, what is the best way to incorporate the Mega-Zol into the pulse? Your advice is much appreciated.

If you only have 1 bottle of Mega, then 1 pre-w/o. If you have more, then maybe 1 more post-w/o too, if the 1 isn't doing it for you.

I've been around...spending a lot of time reading this thread as of late (LOL)...great info in here...so if I decide to do the pulse in March (i.e. I'm currently on a cut), I'll take 10mg SD with 50mg Mega-Zol both pre- and post-workout, sound good? I realize the SD dosage may be a bit on the low side for a pulse but never used this compound before so I wanna proceed with caution if you know what I mean...thanks again bro!

I see most people here are in the US and using pro hormones, I started a little pulse at the end of last year using Dbol but had allot of things going on here before and over xmas so things were not consistent, so I stopped.

Looking to get back into it now though. not sure if ill pulse Dbol or do a straight Tbol cycle yet.

do you have much experience with AAS rather than pro hormones? If i remember from when i was reading up on here last year i THINK you started out with AAS? ]

Honestly, I have not worked out 'consistently' in about a year London, so no, I'm not doing anything these days. Hell, I don't even remember to drink a carbo/protein shake half the time when I do w/o now! But when I finally rededicate myself to a consistent exercise routine, I may pulse one of these new supps that's out. It looks like at least 4-5 companies have new ph's on the market that everyone is talking about now. Kinda waiting to see which one was getting the best feedback.

and have TERRIBLE insomnia!!! i am getting no rest whatsoever, melatonin, benedryl, 5-htp do nothing. other than quitting the cycle is there any other options?? no point of this cycle if i cant sleep

I decided to do a straight Tbol cycle, small dose for 4 to 6 weeks. I have had problems with uveitis as I have mentioned before.

I finished steroid drops at the end of december for my latest uveitis attack, but my appointment with the eye doc wasn't until 21st of Jan. She said the pressure in the eye was high (24) and im now on drops to bring this down.

Do you think Tbol would be ok ? small dose? Or a Dbol puls 2/3 x per week? I had been concidering both, then thought id go with the Tbol but now im thinking a pulse may be better. Tbol dosen't seem to be a good pulsing AAS due to its longer half life.

what do you think?

You guys in the US seem to us PH allot! over here in the UK every one (on forums) tel you that they are over expensive and basically give you all the sides of AAS and none of the gains..... have things moved on from then?

Thank you for the help once again. You've made an extremely huge impact to the people of this thread and have changed our lives for the better. I have a question about the phenomenon you call "the bounce". I'm currently on my second pulse cycle and after three weeks and close to ending my fourth week, I feel "different". My energy has seemed to be alot better and my libido is definitely more noticeable. It seems like every female that comes within my view is attractive to me. Also, my training has also dramtically increased not just in the strength dept but, also in the endurance dept.. Sure, things were definitely good in the beginning of my cycle but, now its gotten even better. Now, is this a sign of "the bounce" and is it still necessary to do PCT?

i got an interesting new proposition for pulsing

im gonna investigate and report findings


basically, 2 weeks of rpn's Havoc at 20mg(10mg twice daily) will not shut me down but have very favourable partitioning effects

so im considering a 3 day a week(for heavy workloads) pulse with SD
on the day havoc taken after gym and SD at 10mg before.

If i can keep the SD side effects down, itll be worth it.

a little bit of toco-8 and sustain alpha in between may just sinch it :-)

It's hard to say for certain, but what you describe is indeed suggestive of a strong bounce!
 
what time are you taking them/working out?

i take them at 6 pm , i workout 7pm and then take my last dose an hour later at maybe 8:00pm... but the insomnia lasts going through the next day too. i hoped it would wear off and i could take a nap. feels like my CNS never calms down

personally, i'd try switching off and taking epi + sd first thing in the morning AFTER the workout (not the morning of the workout days), maybe take the 2nd 10 of sd 1-2 hours later, and see if you sleep better that nite
 
my post meal is usually 70g+ waxy maize, 50g whey

i doubt its time related now. somethings wrong... as of right now i was lying in bed restless for an hour after taking again many sleep aids. feels like i drank caffeine... my last dose was YESTERDAY too

I'm looking at doing my first ever cycle in either May or June. I'm looking at a epistane/havoc pulse cycle. As this is my first cycle I am quite concerned about any side effects. The last thing I want to happen is to get a case of gyno.

That being said, I live in Australia where epistane and havoc are banned. It looks like I will still be able to get some, but I have NO access to a SERM of any kind. I can purchase Cycle Support and Post Cycle Support, but these are pretty expensive down here. I am not sure what other products can be purchased here.

As this is my first cycle and I am a little nervous I will be dosing on the lower end of the scale (I can't see myself going above 40mg on this cycle). Will these products suffice for a 4 to 6 week cycle. Or should I just forget about running this cycle as I cannot get a SERM.

If you believe this cycle is still doable could you please give me an idea of when to use the CS (eg. on days, off days, both) and how much to take.

Also, this is going to sound really stupid, but I cannot find the answer anywhere ( hopefully that is just because it is not an issue). you will not need a serm but is best to have one on hand jus in case. Epi is used to treat gyno so if you are using it in a pulse 3x a week the chance of you getting gyno is slim to none the next best thing to have would be some atd. So just have some of that on hand just in case. Post cycle support works grest for pct and that is all you should need for it.

How is your mineral status? Magnesium can help a lot sometimes, so can zinc and potassium. Are you on anything else, or is there any change in your lifestyle or environment that could be contributing?

In my opinion Cs isn't needed in a Epi pulse. Atd is Invalid Link Removed
 
I'm thinking about getting an epi stack that is sold in the store by IBE. It has the epi, cycle and post cycle support. So....

10/10/10(all taken early morning)

I think it looks ok as far as my experience goes.

But would just add good oils Cod liver or Flax for blood lipid levels and joints and also add a good multimineral and multivitamin.

Perhaps also think about tapering down as well as up??? Gently up gently down?? IMO hugely important.

Wow! Very thorough yogi. I guess you could try to talk your doc into a T7 too, it's a thyroid profile.

How does everyone manage to talk their docs into giving them such extensive lab requests?! For me, it's a struggle just to get my GP to do basic annual bloodwork! I'm in Canada if it matters.

sorry for the double post, but after searching for anti cort supplements, i notice that many of the suggestions are fat burning supplements. how necessary is this to my epi cycle?

NOW Relora is anti-cort. I used somthing different post cycle, but used that on off days while pulsing havoc

Maybe a bit, but I dosed low. It kindo makes you "chill out" a bit, so make sure to take one at bed (plus others during day). I think it may have helped some, but the havoc made me eat like a horse, so there is no way this itself will completely do away with cortisol. The idea is to supress cort so your body stays anabolic and doesn't "eat" your muscles. All about having more anabolic than catabolic to grow. Not a "wow" suppliment, but it does work and it is CHEAP.

no actually i was taking 2 caps of 99mg magnesium/potassium daily. it took about 48+ hours before i slept a good 3 hours i felt better even with just that much. the only thing i did was ADDED epistane. prior i was dosing only Mdrol 20mg on M/w/f. once the epi came into play i had major insomnia. no added stress or anything like that my personal life actually.

Well....I'm hoping the epi helps me out w/my appetite. This is one of my biggest issues. It's hard for me to get my calories in. ok, I'll add this to my list. Thanks for the advice.

its kind of silly to ramp up so slowly, and even sillier to go down at the end. if your plan is to hit 40, you should be hitting it by the end of second week. the whole point of the ramp up is to at first both make sure you dont have an odd reaction to the compound, and also to give yourself a chance to see if sides worsen at a higher dose. with pulsing, you may as move a bit more quickly up so at most i'd do 2 days at 10, 2 at 20, 2 at 30 and then be at 40. Personally i generally do 1 cap the first day to make sure i'm not allergic to it or having a really bad reaction, and jump to full dose next day
