Yes. It felt strong too. You know how sometimes you deadlift and you feel like you are just grinding...And other times you almost feel like it was too easy? Well...This was one of those check and make sure all the plates are on times.

Today's update. I got 3 hours of sleep last night. Not sure why, just couldn't sleep. Has to get up early for a 3 hour drive to a meeting and then 3 hours back. I am exhausted and almost non-functional on such little sleep. No workout today.

Got home and my gf made chicken pot pie...Which she just does chicken and gravy in a pie crust. Too good to pass up so I had a cheat with a small piece of pie and some white rice and two croissants. Beyond that I had a scoop of protein powder, 1 tbsp of coconut oil, 2 tbsp cocoa, 2 bottles of 5 hour energy, 3 monster zero calorie drinks, 4 pieces of thermogum, and a cup of coffee. Oh, and 2 alpha burn.

Some things I have noted today. Today was a little warmer than it has been...About 50. I had to take off my jacket. I was burning up and sweating. I have been noticing some warmth, but it's been I'm the 30s so it wasn't too bad. Today I was just burning.

Also, my diet has NOT been great. I am doing better, but I had a refeed Monday and a cheat tonight. I just weighed myself and I was 188.5 pounds. I weigh myself every night around this time but give my morning weight for consistency. But I routinely lose about 3 pounds between this time and the morning. If that happens in the morning, I will be at a low for this log even though I have been half assed dieting. You guys have seen my other logs. I don't lose weight easily....To be half dieting and still inching down is pretty darned good for me.

And of course, mix that in with the strength increases and I have to say that things are starting to show some effectiveness.

It seems like life keeps throwing me curve balls that mess with my diet. Excuses. Thursday we had a blizzard and I lost power for 9 hours and couldn't cook and wound up getting chicken teriyaki from the local Chinese food place. Last night I just started snacking and blew it. It's like I have one or two days of diet lockdown, then blow it. I am going to do better...Especially after promising everyone 15 pounds in 30 days!

I have been taking Defuse during my big cheat meals though and my weight is holding steady at 188. I also think my strength is going up a little...Honestly...I kind of "feel" like I am growing in that my muscles aren't quite sore from DOMS, but there is a feeling of light DOMS that lasts for days after a workout. It is hard to explain.
 
Sounds like you're recomping bro... fck 15 lbs in 30 days... I'd take fat loss and LBM gains any day of the week!!!

Be very careful of sprints on a treadmill. Several years ago, I pulled my hamstring doing HIIT on a treadmill. Over the years, it never quite healed. It would FEEL fine and then I'd pull lunging for a frisbee, for example.

My Physical Therapist said sprinting on a treadmill is a huge risk because it yanks the legs back on each pace, rather than a natural run where the muscle is pushing the leg back.

Hey man, thanks for that. I actually don't like HIIT on a treadmill at all. It isn't really HIIT because the treadmill will only go up to 10 MPH and I can sustain that for over a minute before I'm too winded to continue. I can't go outside because of all the snow though, it kind of sucks. I think part of the reason I can go 10 MPH on it is actually just what you pointed out, the belt is doing some of the work. It's probably a good thing I wasn't going all out.

The stationary bike is great for HIIT. Elipticals are reasonably good too.

You could also do a type of HIIT on the treadmill by using a steep angle and slightly faster pace rather than sprinting.

I've been holding steady at 188. My diet kind of sucks. I am sucking it up. Life is crushing me at the moment and I am exhausted and give in easily. Still, feeling better with the new training regimen.

Honestly, I have to say, given my diet being half assed, I would totally be gaining weight if it weren't for what I've been using for supplements. I just need to get my sh1t together!!! Disappointed in myself.

So, last week sucked, I was clearly over training (ironic for a guy with a Mentzer avatar), and everything was sideways.

I've been taking the black cumin seed powder along with my Epitome and decided to do a carb refeed last night. I think that despite my diet being not so tight, I tend to eat low carbs at times without realizing and maybe that was part of my issue.

So, today after that I haven't been hungry at all. I had 2 scoops Select, 1 cup egg beaters, 2 tbsp coconut oil, 2.5 oz. Fat free cheese....And that's it so far. I will probably have a Greek yogurt and ...I don't know maybe some jerky or something later. Will finish the day around 1000 calories.

Tonight's workout:

Deadlifts:
1 x 8 x 315 warm up
1 x 7 x 415

Supersetted with:

1 x 10 x BW + 90

And that was it. I may add in shoulders to this workout and make it into A/B workouts...But for this week I will stick to the plan - legs and shoulders in Thursday.

The DCP is really ripping me up any time I take it on an empty stomach. Just a little fat (coconut oil in a shake or almond milk, etc) or food makes it painless. I thought it was the Bromelain in the Orange Triad that helped, but OT works better than the Now Bromelain, so maybe it is another ingredient.

And, now I have to get back at this and show ChocolateClen how we roll here. I am feeling much more motivated after the refeed and cutting back on the training. I should be able to get this going now.

Something that is weird...Despite gaining weight and having a rough spot and now weighing 188 - the tops of my abs are showing when I flex them. I couldn't see my abs before until I was probably at least 10 pounds lighter.

Also, maybe the rest and refeed helped, but 7 x 415 on deadlifts is pretty darned good for me. When I pulled my back two weeks ago it was probably doing 8 x 400 and that was crazy hard for me...And a record at the time. I am thinking the BMP must be kicking in there...Hard to say scientifically but I am getting stronger and I will take it.

With BMP it's common to stay the same or even gain weight while losing fat...that's why I'm so anxious to get this back in. I have enough ingredients to do another 100 or so pouches then we have to start planning on another run of capsules. My strategy has to be perfect here...but all of your support is really helping out, and I appreciate it.

Word from Greece is that taking the DCP with a fish oil or two really helps a ton. I'm going to probably have to switched to a buffered capsaicin for this this next run. It really limits my sales with everyone getting heartburn.

Honestly, the BIGGEST thing is taking it with fats. I take it with Bromelain and that helps...But I take it with Brite, 2 g of fish oil and it burns still. Adding coconut oil and a scoop of protein powder though...And no issues at all. More fish oil may help. I would LOVE to see you use some kind of cyclodextrin or liposomal system for the caps. If it is possible...I think it would make it more powerful and decrease burn.

I really feel like Evomuse makes some of the few supplements worth spending money on. If more people had my experience both with trying hundreds of fat burners and trying your products - they probably wouldnt buy from many other companies.

The way you survive a strong tide is by swimming at an angle towards shore, but not directly opposite the current.

You say you're exhausted and giving in easy. Well I say that's because you're directly fighting against the tide. Go at an angle for a bit while you build yourself back up.

Translation: Stop doing what's exhausting you and start doing what excites you. Maybe give yourself more HEALTHY fuel for a couple of week. Maybe take a week or two off lifting to allow for some recovery. Or change your workout to something less taxing for a couple of weeks.

Great advise. Unfortunately, I'm not swimming against any tide. I feel like I'm doing a back float down some rapids. There is no swimming going on :) I'm just allowing life to take me for a ride. It isn't working out that is killing me at all - it's just life in general. The last couple of months have been pretty crazy at work, and unfortunately the nature of my job is that I do all the work, and then IF it is successful, I get paid AFTER everything is done. Only problem is, I'm dealing with some large organizations with some people that just don't act intelligently. Which really baffles me, because, well, they're in moderately successful positions and a few of these people are wealthier than ...well....almost everyone.

So, in the meantime, between bigger pay days (which I've never really hit it BIG), I do some side stuff that pays peanuts and takes up a lot of time, but allows me to barely pay my bills. The end result is that my work life has me going in 4-5 different directions, struggling with the stuff I WANT to work on because the people who hire me can't figure something out, and wasting a ton of time on meaningless stuff that pays the bills. And, right now, I am WAY behind on some bills and stresses are just building up.

I HAVE cut back on my workouts - 3X per week and somewhat breif workouts. Still hard...but I wouldn't have it any other way. And, since I'm giving in on the diet quite a bit - I've been eating plenty. I'm not saying I've been eating unhealthy necessarily, but lenient and probably just a little over my TDEE every day.

If I was actually swimming upstream, then you'd hear me in here saying how I was doing everything right and not getting results. Nah, I'm not even trying to swim at the moment, it's on me. BUT - I'm not gaining, which I have to attribute to the evomuse stack. Actually, I'm getting/feeling stronger in the gym - hit 425 for 4 on the deads last night and they, once again, felt strong. Only reason I didn't hit 5 was because my grip was failing and I didn't want to have it slip and then pull a back muscle (I feel like losing your grip is the way a lot of deadlift injuries happen inadvertently.)

But, yeah, I have been backing of and your advise is dead on in some aspect. Unfortunately, I am exhausted because of stuff going on in life and not because of the stuff that excites me (working out and dieting - this is my hobby of course). And because the life stuff is urgent, it's interfering with the stuff that I want to do....and my motivation to do it.

Sound advice. HIT won't do that though. He's too crazy

I also took some Radiate by RXS today. They sent me 3 samples and I have to say it is pretty decent. It gave me good appetite suppressant, good energy. The energy was clean, no jitters. It lasted for 6-7 hours and then I had a little crash. I was a little surprised by this because DMHA usually doesn't have a crash - but it was minor and I've had a day that was long, boring and had a lot of sitting around waiting for people - so maybe the crash has to do with that.

I feel more motivated today...Hoping to get the energy levels back and get this rolling.
 
Ok, so....I took my first dose of Testruction this morning around 9. I took the radiate around 11. I was sweating and energized a little while after and assumed it was just the radiate. This is the issue with taking a bunch of stuff. The radiate definitely is good. My review still stands.

BUT...I took my second dose of Testruction around 7 tonight and...I am feeling really good. It is hard to explain. I am warm...Hit actually. But I feel motivated and energized. Not like you get from stims...This is hard to explain. I feel like I am strong and ready to go to war. But on the same hand, I am not anticipating any issues with sleep. After such a stressful week that was crushing me...I feel like I can go accomplish anything. It's a definite mental improvement that kicked up after the second dose of Testruction and after the Radiate should have worn off. There aren't many supplements I feel like I am going to REALLY like after 1 day and I don't expect much from a "test booster" ...But...I am going to like this one, I can tell already.

Got a couple of bottles of DTP v3. Going to start that tomorrow. Got 2 bottles of FD2 haven't decided if I'm going to add this or not. Don't like doing too many supplements at one time.
I know the FD2 works! Done it before. Not sure about the other stuff but might log the DTP V3.

Well...I took the first dose and then 2 hours later took a stimulant based fat burner. I attributed (and still do) a lot of the energy I felt then to the stims. The stims hit harder and it is a different feeling. This is more just pure motivation ...Hard to explain.

I am researching the ingredients in Testruction and I am excited because E. Ulmoides was an ingredient in the original Alphamine and it has been shown to protect against obesity and decrease WAT.

But Alphamine standardize their E Ulmoides for chlorogenic acid. The leaves include so many useful ingredients, beyond just chlorogenic acid, including a dopamine reuptake inhibitor. This would explain some of the motivation I am feeling. It would also potentially cause GH release I would bet - which will also help with leaning out.

Got a couple of bottles of DTP v3. Going to start that tomorrow. Got 2 bottles of FD2 haven't decided if I'm going to add this or not. Don't like doing too many supplements at one time.
I know the FD2 works! Done it before. Not sure about the other stuff but might log the DTP V3.

I have already used almost everything I am running in the past, with the exception of the BMP and Testruction. In other words...I am running a bit but I know how it all effects me individually and in various combos.

I have been feeling the BMP has been making me stronger, and I am excited to see how it works with the Testruction.

That's the way I am. I like to see what works for different things before I stack them. Think I will hold off on the FD2 if I can control my self?

Haha....It is hard holding out!

BMP is Evomuse's natural muscle builder. The product is "Body Morph Phenotype" and it is based on scientific research into "Bone Morphogenic Proteins". These proteins create differentiation between cells. It is a unique pathway/approach that I don't think anyone else is even paying attention to in supplements.

Yeah...I can't say if it increases test or will make me stronger yet...But it has a profound impact on my mood/mentality. I feel capable and I am LOOKING to do things that have been difficult for me to focus on lately. Last couple weeks have been tough and beat me down and suddenly I feel ready to come up swinging. If this continues, I would say that alone is worth using g the product as often as possible. I have to wait and do the want to get too excited just yet...It's only been one day, but again, it feels pretty profound.
 
Before my cycle, I did a month of testructuon, great product! Good motivation and sleep! Just the feel good and get go in the mornings made it good for me!
 
I keep reading so much on Radiate I almost bought some. But I feel like I need to stick with the plan. Otherwise I'll end up with a cabinet full of supps and running everything that you guys are taking.
 
Hey I know you are an expert on the field and that some times good will can deceive you and that is tricky when you just want to 'please' yourself with some nice food and you say '****, why not? Why should I not deserve enjoying this or that'.

Guess where I am trying to go and once again no expert here: but aren't you having too many scoops of this, spoons of that and little to none real whole food? Why don't you just take regular coffee with eggs in the morning, chicken at lunch and a piece of meat for dinner. Nothing else, no other complements, fats or proteins...at least for a while and see what happens? Very high protein, moderate to low fats and very low carbs has proven to give me personally good results so far.
