Cardio bunny...
Is the main ingredient waxy maize starch?Has anyone ever tried Karbolyn or something similar? A friend of mine owns a Nutrishop and gave me a sample. Said it would make a world of a difference especially for my leg day!
No but here's the label from the sample. It doesn't lay it out very well! LolIs the main ingredient waxy maize starch?

Unless you do specific carb timing plan, I wouldn't bother with it. For those that do Intermittent Fasting or Carb Backloading, though, it's great stuff.
That's kinda what I figured! I haven't done IF or anything like that in a while. Thank you!
You're welcome. Insulin is such a complicated hormone that it's really difficult to discuss the wide ranging implications of controlling/manipulating it for a certain purpose.
I agree! Very hard!I think he was just trying to help me since I have such a hard time with energy due to my dumb thyroid issues! Lol
Overall lethargy or trouble mobilizing fat?
Well, I have trouble with both but primarily the lethargy! Fat has been moving a little lately since I switched up nutrition some more!
Yeah switching them has helped some! I might try adding a little carbs before training! Currently, I only have 1/2 a protein shake. I'm not sure how much more improvement I will get since they won't treat it! Thank you for your help though! It means a lot!I'm not ultra well versed in thyroid pathology unfortunately. Depending on your overall plan, there may be a way to switch your macros towards more favorable times.

Is your tsh normal? Are you on levo?
Yeah many ppl with ht are hyperthyroid before becoming hypo, did you get that? How high is your tsh? I tend to replace thyroid hormones in hashimoto pts who are hypo, and most ppl I know do, but I know some drs don't. I tend to recommend thyroidectomy for hashimotos bc of the high risk of cancer. Wow! Good to know! You seem like you're very knowledgable! I wish I could find a good dr! Just tired of trying! Figured nutrition and training along with Gods hand are my best bet! Thank you for your help!Yes. It's sometimes hard to take out thyroids in HT bc the inflammation makes them stick to everything around them.
I'm going with inflammation via pH level imbalance and potentially a small food allergy.
I have considered food allergy due to the way my body reacts to certain foods- especially oats but never been tested! Never thought about ph!

Oats are highly acidic to the kidneys. This could be playing a role. Invalid Link Removed
I sure hope I can correct it soon!! Would be nice to feel good again! Most likely it's related to thyroid. Correcting your thyroid function may help.
Wow! I'll have to read that more thoroughly! Looks really good! I completely cut oats of any kind out about 2 months ago but may be some other alterations to consider! Thank you!!

It won't hurt to try dietary changes. Some ppl do find gluten or dairy free diets help.
It's hard because there's very little $ in primary care.
I've eliminated gluten from my diet and feel a lot better. Remember that gluten= BROW = Barley, Rye, Oats and Wheat. Nice job in here BTW!
Wow what a session you had! Impressive volume and numbers....
High blood sugar won't make you dizzy or lightheaded, maybe a lil lethargic. Dizziness/lightheadedness is more a symptom of hypoglycemia.
Well you don't look dirty or sweaty! Probably too easy for you since you're in such good shapeAhh wonderful yard work! I forget how much "fun" push mowing is! Lol Covered in dirt and sweat! Shower then house cleaning time!! This counts as cardio right?!![]()
Aww thank you! You're sweet! It wasn't hard just a lot of dirt! LolWell you don't look dirty or sweaty! Probably too easy for you since you're in such good shape![]()
Very sexy. I've never mowed a lawn, I don't know how to work the oven, never taken out the trash, never turned on the dishwasher, and I don't even know how to use my air conditioner. Haha, I'll just be arm candy or a trophy wife.
Aww thank you! You're sweet! It wasn't hard just a lot of dirt! Lol We are gonna have to work on that!!! LolAlthough, living in CA, you might could get away with it!...Girls in the south get dirty! Haha ;P
I'm a spoiled brat, I can't lie. A little whining goes a long way! Oh and some good he*d, lol jk!
That's alright! Haha You can always make up for it in those other departments! They'll never complain!![]()
Oh my goodness! I just died laughing!!!Haha, the only complaint: not so much spit. Lolol smh
