I just wanted to elaborate on why I never use all that much protein. I have experimented with daily dosages as much as 400g/day and when I compared the muscle i gained when while taking 150-200g/day it wasnt overtly noticable. I made these comparisons both while running a 5X5 routine over the course of several months. I always thought if you bought a high quality protein with high absorbtion rates and took at most anabolic times it would be sufficient to dose lower than standard on protein. I realize that when taking a PH/PS protein synthesis is increased but I fall back on my original point. I will for the sake of the log increase my protein intake to 250-300g/day. I know alot of people are mostly against this position as there was a thread about this very topic not to long ago, but like I said it is what has worked for me.
