Better DeNero movie? I have to go with heat, but its a toss up.

thank you. thank you for FKUCING UP MY MORNING. everything was going fine until someone had to ask this question, it's not even fair, it's an enigma. HEAT OR CASINO,HEAT OR CASINO,HEAT OR CASINO........the pressure in my head to make a decision is too much, the mental torture I'm going through right now is causing feelings of paranoia, anger, frustration and acute terror. worlds are colliding! HEAT OR CASINO, HEAT OR CASINO....AHHHHHH. i know what will fix this a little movie reinactment...:numbered:...yes the streets of Chi-town will be red. or i could just vote....yes i will vote for heat, not because i think casino was bad or anything, but DeNero.....another gangster movie...good no doubt but heat had Sizemore, Kilmer and a different feel about it. a bit more criminal if you will.

Neither. His best roll was his part as Michael in "The Deer Hunter." A close second came from his role as Jimmy in "GoodFellas."

1) Taxi Driver
2) Deer Hunter
3) Raging Bull
4) Goodfellas
5) Cape Fear

What a poor dichotomy of DeNiro movies; Heat and Casino were both fine movies, but not in his Top 5 performances. I would also place the second installment of Godfather up there - if you are going for Pacino and DeNiro performances, that is.

true true. and another thing, "you fvcked my wife. you fvcked my wife."

I think, obviously, Cape Fear is one of his greatest singular performances. However, the other movies (Deer Hunter, Casino, GodFather, Taxi, Raging Bull) are more iconic as films; therefore, his performances in those receive more press.

never saw "Cape Fear" and i've seen a bit of movies so far in this life. is it a great one?

he was also really good in "This Boy's Life." It starred himself and Leonardo DiCaprio. this movie is an acquired taste. i don't particularly like watching abuse, but it's the psychological before/aftereffects i like to examine.

Goodfellas was a great movie.:hammer:

HEAT coming to XBox - Invalid Link Removed

quote from the website - "According to Titan Productions, Mann is in talks with Gearbox to oversee the game's development. There's also a good chance that many of the movies' stars will be lending their voices and likenesses to the game. Titan claims it is in "advanced stages with representatives for Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Val Kilmer to be part of the video game sequel."

Damn, both are great! I'll go with HEAT.
Goodfellas should be in the list, too.

Side note: I just got back from Boston and the funny thing is that I saw Robert De Niro at the Hard Rock. Dude's short, but I'm not going to lie... I was star-struck!

his worst comedies by far

Heat. Hand's down.

Still hate the ending though.

I'd say his performance in Casino was better, but Heat is the better movie, imo.

I'd go with Cape Fear as his best performance. His older flicks are overhyped me thinks.
