have you ever drank on cycle?

have you ever got drunk while on an oral prohormoe or steroid? if so what oral were you on and how much did you drink while on? And how was your liver values afterwards?

no, I think it would be stupid, looking at the hepatoxicity of some of the orals, it sounds like a bad mixture..kind of like alcohol and painkillers.

As SCARED as people are on these boards about liver problems due to orals, I highly doubt you will find someone on here who gets "trashed" on cycle. Maybe a glass of wine or a beer, but nothing too crazy.

Yes, but dont make a habit out of it. Once in awhile is not going to hurt you, especially if you take extra support supps prior to drinking along with lots of water. Its people who drink several times a week and heavily that have problems.

There was a programme on the BBC recently that measured the biological age of several organs in the body , brain , skin and liver .of a 22 year old 3rd rate female celeb that loved to party almost every night of the week.

On doing a scan . the brain was actually that of a 64 year old , the skin that of a 35 year old but the liver had totally been unaffected by the excessive drinking and was in line with her actual age.

After several weeks of non drinking alcohol , the age of the various organs started to recede , further tests were carried out, but the liver was never measured again because there was no need to.

Taking methylatedsteroids can cause liver enzymes to rise but even though they rise, blood work could show that they are within the parameters set,and after several weeks of cessation of steroids , levels fall as far as i understand .

So you could argue that although im taking meth steroids , drinking alcohol is not likely to raise liver enzymes further and the amount of alcohol drunk i would assume would not be on the scale of a bottle of wine ; several vodka shots every night of the week.

The doctor associated with this programme said that with the liver , there is no in between.its working or its not working. The problem is no one knows for how long you can put it under stress and abuse it before trouble starts.

If your planning on taking a pro hormone / AAS why would you want to drink anyways? It will only further limit your gains, and youd be lucky to make any at all. I could see a beer or two here maybe one night a week. Id think youd just be flushing your money and gains down the toilet.

Good article from another site I found.

"the fractional rate of protein synthesis (ks, %/day) did not fall 20 min after dosage but was reduced after 1 hr by 23% (p < 0.001), and by 63% after 24 hr"

If you're drinking out at the bar the night before, the next day you consume 300 grams of protein, you would only be utilizing 111 of those grams!

one thing that nobody has mentioned so far , is that Alcohol also increases estrogen levels in men. Chronic alcoholism has been associated with loss of body hair and muscle mass, development of swollen breasts, development of shrunken testicles, and impotence.(extract from Invalid Link Removed)

Was doing test enth cycle with 4 week dbol kick start. I Was on last week of dbol 40mg ED. I went to my sister wedding and decided to have a couple of drinks. Had five beer and felt piss drunk ha ha. Its still your choice if you want to drink but I would not recommend it. Plus when you drink your protein syntheses is a hurting unit. Kind of obvious but never! drink on PCT. Your liver is already dealing with getting rid of the toxins from the AAS. Why throw another toxin in there?

Russian roulette anyone? No answer is 100% correct. It could do nothing to you, it could ruin you. Then again some people get sick from h-drol, others can take m-drol and not have any sides.... Its really up to your own biochemistry. Plus you dont know what could already be up with your liver, you dont have x-ray eyes.

so what your saying is that since one high risk activity didnt raise liver enzymes far enough to be harmful that it would be okay to compound the effects by adding in other high risk activities?

I haven't and wouldn't (I'm T Total) but in my opinion it's an unnecessary risk.

Why waste any potential gains and further damage to your liver on cycle for a glass of alcohol?

Not worth it mate.

It up to each individual to make their own judgement .What it could illustrate and was mentioned in my previous post that drinking alcohol may not raise liver enzymes any further past the level already raised by the use of methylated steroids. But of course its an assumption .

There have been endless posts on here about drinking alcohol whilest on methylated steroids. Before posting im sure the poster knows exactly what they should be doing -not drinking- but its as though they want someone to give them the go-ahead so they dont feel so bad about combining both.
Im not giving the go ahead to anybody .I gave out the findings of the tv programme of various organs of an excessive female 22 year old drinker. The liver came out of it very well and liver enzymes were normal .This would suggest that in her case the liver was able to cope but everyone is different.
Both alcohol and methylated steroids are toxins and its the livers job to breakthem down and clear them .However the structure of meth steroids prevents the liver from doing that and liver enzymes get raised .That said the level of enzymes could still fall within the parameters set by hospital laboratories. Without tests its all guess work .

So drinking alcohol whilest on cycle of meth steroids is something i wouldnt do personally but then we are all different , and just like some are prepared to take stronger ds or stack 2 meth steroids together , there are some who are not. Likewise there will be some who are prepared to drink alcohol on cycle too.

I have found that an occasional weekly/monthly beer (most likely consumed due to social pressures, work functions, etc) has no "perceivable" effect while on cycle in relation to weight or strength gains or general mind/body feelings. However, on one rare occasion (a wedding) I found myself having 4 drinks. Knowing this was a possibility, I loaded liver support (beyond normal support levels) and water the day before and of the wedding. The day after I had the worst hangover of my life. Naseous for at least 8 hours and was not feeling "right" until 48-72 hors later. I am 200lb and under normal (non-cycle) circumstances, 4 drinks, although a lot, would not phase me the next day. I am forced to assume that this was my body screaming at me to not mix AAS and alcohol.

yup same **** happened to me

I have.. I don't regret it- but i've been VERY strict on making sure it doesn't happen again.. Didn't get my enzymes checked but I was on a 1-Test cycle and had no sides.. the next day I felt fine w/o a hangover or anything..
