Ths is the email I sent to my boss.
Adam,
I have no problem turning the music down when any one politely asks, however it's very inconsiderate when Richard is not working out and turns off the music completely just to watch tv. I was previously informed by Justin to have the music off prior to 11 to accommodate Richard, however he has now decided to watch tv after 11. Furthermore, concerning his sandals, it is against city ordinance to wear them in the gym. *As far as I am concerned he is an adult and can make an educated decision on proper foot attire; but all us being residents of Garden Communities, we should have equal access and privileges concerning the gym. I have been expelled from the gym for showing up with open-toed shoes. There seems to be confusion about the footwear policy, which should be clarified equally for all residents. On a personal note, I hope this issue can be resolved to suit everybody's mutual interest with out further harassment from Richard. I know that I speak for everybody at the gym in wanting a reasonable (and legal) standard of sanitation, and some form of music during workout hours. Please feel free to send this to all parties involved, so that a we can begin to formulate a resolution.
Regards,
James
