Unanswered Great lecture on Boron!

I enjoyed the information in this lecture, and I think you will as well. Has info you have heard, and some you have not. It is good to be equipped with the knowlege presented to counter naysayers.

With that being said, stayed tuned for the upcoming BLR sale, so you can pick up some Viron, which has 10mg boron per serving, as well as one of the best LJ extracts out there!

Nice! Thanks for sharing the vid!

I use trace minerals that has this in it but only like 1-2 mg which is where you see most dosages at even in standalone supps. Is there a substantial benefit of 10mg?

In the lecture, he concludes saying you need about 30-70mg of Boron. That’s a huge range, but, 10mg of Boron Citrate would be beneficial as it’s the most bio available and almost entirely absorbed by our body

Yes, there is a substantial benefit to 10 to 20mg of boron per day, taken in 1 dose in the morning. 1 to 2mg is still considered deficient.

Most of the studies I’d seen were at least 3g daily for the plethora of benefits it affords, many at 6g as well.

I didn’t watch the whole thing, did he say that? I saw where he concluded the upper range is probably above the currently recommended limit of 20mg a day, but I find it hard to believe you’d need that large of an amount when there are lots of studies showing benefits at much lower dosages.

We know even if you take 100mg boron Citrate or any other boron complex, you will still get only 5% of actual boron in it. So, I don’t know what the real dosage is.

Do you take it? What personal benefits do you get from it? Just curious as I wonder if it’s onebof those things that is just considered good or if there’s an actual noticeable benefit to a supplemental dosage.

When I was taking it, if found I had better sleep. It is synergistic with magnesisum, and good for those with arthritic symptoms. I got my free test results back, and I'm at an 11, very bottom of the range, and if you have low free test, you will experience negative sides of low test even if you have high total test. So, I'm going to take Viron, 2 caps a day, as well as nettle root extract, and Primavie shilijat to see about raising my free testosterone.

Definitely interesting about the synergy with magnesium and sleep. Anything sleep help related is great. Also seems to help with D3 levels which is also a plus.

From what I could ascertain one should want to get at least 10mg of boron. 3mg seems borderline deficient.

This! The Libido boost on Viron, for most, will be immense!

I don't eat most of anything on that list. Mostly just meat, butter, olive oil, cheeses, and meat fat. And 3mg boron or less per day would still be classified as deficient.

If you check the link I posted you’ll find they did a chemical analysis of the common high boron foods and found the amounts were overestimated.

But that is why I suggested if looking for just the overall health benefits (like the positive influence on magnesium and vitamin d for example) that you should just focus on them in the diet, as those foods aren’t too crazy different to eat (and they found that the US had the highest rate of intakes with the top at 7mg a day).

Now the joint and testosterone stuff is interesting for people that may be beneficial for. It’s also dirt cheap

It probably shouldn’t come at such a surprise that things aren’t running right on such a restrictive diet.
A lot of life factors since December that I just haven't posted here that most likely have contributed to my numbers.

yeah what is the real dosage. Do you 10mg a day of pure Boron which would mean about 200mg of Boron citrate

For example, in Viron, it states 10mg boron per cap, means you get 10mg of active boron. Some companies let you know how much active boron you get, some don't.

I just confirmed with Brundel that it is in fact 10mg of active boron per cap. The citric acid content is not listed.

This is what the label says
I know what it says. But, I asked Brundel specifically what the active amount was, and per cap he stated 10mg of active boron per cap. So 30 days worth provides 20mg boron. The label does not list how much citric acid it has.

Ummm I’m calling bs on this. I remember asking him about this in another thread and he completely disappeared. It says boron citrate 20 mg. 200 mg boron citrate yields 10 mg active boron. He didn’t seem to understand this AT ALL when it was first brought to his attention

Add in some Vitamin D and SNS KSM66 both cheap but effective supps for free test not to mention the other benefits of Ashwaghanda

Everything I have read states 100mg boron citrate equals 10mg active boron.

Also in the photo it states serving size is 500mgs.

250mgs Longifolia
200mgs Boron Citrate ( label shows active boron )
And 50mgs of filler

This would equate to the 500mgs and would make sense given the 20mgs of Boron.

I don't think there is an individual boron product on the market that is 200mg of boron citrate. That's where I am getting lost. What if I just want to take boron. Most supplements have 3mg of boron glycinate

not knocking the company or the product. But what kind of LJ extract is it, as most popular is LJ100, is there any detail on the LJ they use?

Ok I’ll try to explain again, hopefully I’ll make sense, unless I’m misinterpreting your dilemma (very possible haha things fly over my head at times).

This is 3mg of Boron from however much Boron Glycinate it has to be bonded to to get that 3mg.

You can’t “just take” boron, like with most minerals it’s going to be bound to something (with different ones giving varying levels of absorption).

I know it’s confusing, mostly because companies don’t all follow proper labeling laws so it can make it tough to know what you are getting when they don’t label it right. With the example above that’s more than 3mg of Boron Glycinate being the amount that gives you the 3mg Boron you want.

Got it so its 3mg pure boron. So from what ive been reading anywhere from 10mg to 20mg a day of pure boron. Thanks

This is from Brundel:

"Boron citrate is about 5% boron.
So we use 100mg per capsule for 10mg boron per cap.
200 per 2 caps or 20mg."

Ignoring the details of net boron conversation for a moment, the video was excellent. Thank you for posting the link.

I've been using Swanson's Boron product at 4 caps per day for the past month or two.

Awesome. How do you feel now compared to a couple months ago?

Generally - much better - but I have changed a lot of things (diet, weight loss, work outs, and other supps), so - candidly - it is hard to single boron out as a factor. I am using it primarily in an attempt to increase DHT, and I am also adding sorghum flour to my protein shakes for this same reason.

But everyone should be concerned with inflammation - and I did not previously appreciate boron's ability to positively influence inflammation.

I take 12 mg Swanson bornon and I feel honestly different. A bit more confidant and testy than normal. It could be doing something. Joints feel a tad more achy than normal too.

Yup. It can’t be half the pill is fillers.. lol. Plus, it’s BLR. But, it would be good to get the label corrected though.
