Depends on whether you're bulking, cutting, maintaining. Then depends on how many calories you are short on your goal. Obviously my before bed snack while bulking will be different than my bed time snack while cutting. Most likely i wouldn't even have a before bed snack while cutting.

This is a good low carb recipe.
Use casein protein if you can. Otherwise use whey:

in a coffee mug mix:
1 whole egg
1 scoop of chocolate protein
2 sachet of stevia (not neccessary)
1 table spoon of natural peanut butter
1 table spoon of water.

Mix it thoroughly and put it in the microwave for 1 minute.
It makes a little brownie.

Otherwise cottage cheese is good, but it has a lot of carbs.

Theres nothing wrong with an omelet/scrampled eggs either.

If your feeling really lazy put 200mls of pastured egg whites(the stuff out of a bottle), 100mls of water and 2 scoops of whey or casein in a shaker and drink.

What are your goals, op? What is your current diet like? This should certainly be considered when deciding on what a "snack" should be.

Pizza Rolls. What? Nobody said to be specific here! I just happen to like pizza rolls as a cheat! :D

In all seriousness, the goals would definitely help to determine the best snack for you. A protein shake, in general, would probably be a good idea. It may not be too filling, but for a quality snack that can be mixed up in the haze of the night, can't beat it. Feed the body to recover while resting, keep the nitrogen balance, and help fill the gut with something useful (as opposed to pizza rolls).

Pizza Rolls, delicious!!!!!!!! :D

Red velvet cake?

1 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 scoop protein, blueberries, strawberries, 1/4 cup granola. I buy frozen berries, and when I microwave them they get nice and soft, kind of like adding a fruit sauce to the snack!
