GOMAD help!

Here is my issue with GOMAD. How much water are you able to drink daily with all that milk? There is an age old debate on whether drinking a fluid like milk actually contributes to your hydration and from what I remember reading it doesn't. The absorption of all the nutrients actually disolves the fluid portion. So I for one would have trouble with this diet because I couldn't drink 2 gallons of fluid a day.

Milks composition is 87% water...
 
It is definitely hydrating you. I drink milk instead of water when bulking. Milk is water on steroids.

I drink a lot of milk and tend to feel dehydrated, but I think it could be a mental thing too. A half gallon is a good amount on top of the milk. If you can increase it to a gallon of water and a gallon of milk then you are an animal.

If I did that, I would pee twice as much as I do now lmao.. Means it would kill my sleep..
 
So, my bench strength is down today and I have elicited 0 weight gains from GOMAD. I think Im just going to get back on a normal bulking diet of brown/white rice, beef and whole grain pasta.... Maybe a half gallon a day.
 
Decided to stay on GOMAD because my recovery rate is pretty damn fast.. I am def increasing size in my triceps, quads, hams and lats. Its so easy to down a gallon of milk now without any digestive problems.
 
Let me know how the diet ends up. Regardless of what people say good luck man =)

Its an easy way to get excess calories in for the day! Strength is going up in every area and arm size is definitely improving. Abs are fading away, but oh well. Traps are growing fast as hell just from 4 sets of DB shrugs once a week lol.. This diet aint to bad once you get over the hill..

glad to hear you're noticing growth. any weight gain? there has to be some if you're getting bigger and abs are fading. if not it means FAT :bigeyes: lol

Haha, im scared to check the scale.. It seems if I dont check the scale but once a month theres weight gain and I get motivated. If I check ed or eod, it destroys my motivation. But, I have good news, I am gaining better during my PCT than the cycle I had previously done; I was eating the same amount of cals if not more while on cycle? My gear was under dosed and I will never go UGL again...
 
Nice to hear you are getting decent size gains, but if you got size you HAVE to have gotten some weight. Maybe you're just getting cutter and the muscles just look bigger?

I have no idea how I would be getting cutter as im on a surplus calorie diet with no cardio. I workout, I tan, I eat and I sleep. Repeat! I probably didnt show weight gain in the beginning because I am on formestane, which dryed me out and probably took away 5lbs of water.
 
Well I did Gomad when I started awhile back at 210...I got up to 245...and then replace all those calories from the milk wit solid foods one step at a time n keep all my gains when they water weight started to shed(bout 15lbs) after 2months...hit a bulkin wall then went crazy and ate every thing...shakes ww pasta etc...stretch my stomach/appetite got up to 252 and stayed there comfortable...im265 now...in short its hand lookinat pounds onGOMAD just enjoytha food n strengths levels going up the mass will come...and r u loggging ur diet on here...what are u eating wit ur daily gallon
 
Well my breakfast is small.. My lunch is usually steak and pasta or rice. My dinner is a meat and carb source. Before bed I have more steak and rice/pasta. Then add a gallon of milk to that..
 
I was worried about you, and then i realized my son didn't eating but milk for atleast 6 months and he's turning out fine... atleast for being 14 months old.
 
I may not have noticed what are your stats you look failry big in your avatar. The human body can only hold so much muscle mass naturaly and that varies from person to person but proably around 210 -220 lean is about all an average 6 ft man can realisticaly hope for. that would break down to about 190 for a 5'9 man which is average height. I am by no mean saying genticaly supiriors cant hope for more and that you cant bulk up to a reasonably lean bigger build. unless you avatar is just a good pic imo you look somewhat close to your natural limit for muscle mass being that lean. You can defintely tell you lift weights. the gomad deit is also usually complimented with low volume full bdy workouts or powerlifting style train to further reserve calories. If you have a very fast metabolism short heavy workouts are proably better. something like 5x5 or a 3 day a week split or even hit. One thing I notice is a lot of people dont take the strength gain aspect of getting big serious enough. That is a common theme in all the popular workouts dc,5x5 5,3,1 westside they all make gaining stregth a priority

That pic is about 170.. If thats my genetic limit, me and God need to have a heart to heart.. Im 176-178 now..
