Your calories are very low .. is this as low as you go...

Yeah, I am also not really including the fiber in the count. So you could estimate about 2200-2400 if you include them. I went down to 1800 during contest prep trying to make a weight class that didn't exist. I wont go that low again. I have always been an really easy gainer anything near what most people at my weights maintenance level is I will put on fat. Although after Halloween I am going to start alternating 2000-2200 and 4000-4500 cals every two weeks and I will be using extra fat for the cals. If that produces good results as I expect I will test getting my normal cals up around 3000 to see if I have changed my bodies set point enough to do so without gaining fat. The diet is the ABCDE diet. Idea is to eat quite a bit above maintenance for 2 weeks then quite a bit below below maintenance for two weeks. The supercompensation effect on the muscle mass for high calorie weeks outweighs the minimal amount of muscle loss on the low cal side. I used it a few times with pretty good success just never from an already lower bodyfat.

On another note, today is a day off but I want to go workout. Imagine that....

I am lovin my day off... I really needed that rest. I think the lowest I ever went is 2400 calories at the end of contest prep but I was eating about 100 cals of fibrous carbs at least. That's a lot of broccoli!!

Well I blew my diet to hell and back this weekend but that is okay. I am right back on it now like nothig happened.

I went to a wedding and reception. In wonderful redneck fashion the receptions was stocked with about 10 briskets 30 lbs of barbecue chicken, the BBQ works... On top of that they were playing mostly country, not completely against it but it isn't my choice of music, so I had several drinks and some cake of course. Then yesterday I took my son to see Zombieland. I had a big wonderful coke and we shared some candy. So I really just said what the heck and had some fun with it. I am of the belief things like that just don't hurt that much on occasion. In my current heightened test levels maybe even a little anabolic. LOL Yeah I am reaching there. ;)

By the way Zombieland was friggin hilarious. I am definitely buying it when it comes out. Woody Harrelson at his best.

Yah when you get down to the nitty gritty you have to stop but you can continue to lean out when using the right supps especially if you incorporate looser dietary practices as part of your carb cycle and take plenty of AP. We work hard enough to accomodate this. Another point is that this helps keep the metabolism high so when you got back into the low end of your carb cycle you'll snap back very quickly.

No doubt. I definitely remembered to take an AP before the reception and 1 for later during the reception. I double dosed AP before the popcorn, coke and candy at the movies. I am rather swole this morning. All the carbs and everything I am just big! My shirt is way tighter than normal. I didn't get on the scale today but I am sure I am close to 198 lbs today. Maybe even 200, I have been hovering around 195 at about the same BF I started this bridge with but a pound heavier due to extra leg work. I think I would have progressed a little more but the sickness took my back the 2 steps I seemed to have gained putting my right back where I started from almost. However I am looking bigger. A tiny bit leaner. I am going back to weighing everything and measuring every two weeks now just like I was getting ready for a show, but still trying to grow. I have never put that much detail into the bulking phase but am really going to try to push it this next 3 months. With the SWOLE stack then going back and killing it with the Asteroid Stack for 2 months, I want to see if I can get another 4-5 lbs at this bodyfat. I am a little nervous about the weight gain because I don't want to slip back into the portly version of me so I just need my diet completely lined out for every meal so I don't allow myself to give into panic and lower calories when I should be gaining mass. Goal is lean bulk. I am entering the first low calorie phase for 2 weeks to get as much of pre halloween as possible. The outfit is ordered, I am going as a boxer. Open robe and all I have to look the part. LOL After that the first high calorie phase will follow. I decided instead of the old 2 weeks deal I had planned to do I will shorten the high calories to 1 week then 1 week low cals. Lets see how anabolic this thing can get. I will only do that method for about 6 weeks tops then decide what is next on the dietary plan of attack.

Had apretty good workout today. Went to push a little more in some areas, and had a mishap.

I went in this morning with one thing on my mind. Increasing weight on squats. That is pretty much it. Everything else was going to be a bonus.

Chest - 55 db fly/db bench superset combo 3 sets I got all 10 of both exercises for alll 3 sets. A strength improvement.

Seated cable row, wide nuetral grip. 120 lbs Pull to hips, extend and pull to ribs, extend and pull to chest, that equalled 1 repetition, 10 reps. 3 sets

Shoulders - Seated lateral raise - 100x6, 120x6 130x5>110x6>90>5>60x3
DB Front raise thumb up to lower tendon stress 40x5, 50x5>25x8
Bentover Lateral raise 25x10

Triceps/Chest - close grip push ups. Set 1 50, set 2 dive bomber pushups 15, set 3 diamond pushups 25

Squats, okay the time is here. I ready myself to push some weight. Getting my joints warmed up, lowering the reps on the second work set so I could push a little higher.
135x15, 225x10, 315x5, 335x5 375x??? what am I going to get here, 10 pounds up from last weeks efforts. This is going to be some serious pushing here. However 335 felt like it was nothing. I wonder... am I going to be able to get 3, or maybe even 5. I turn the mp3 player up, exploding in my ears the sounds of Disturbed, and they want me to Get Psycho!!!! I am all for it. I do my mental prep, get myself worked into an intense and controlled frenzy. My adrenaline is pumping now. Time to unrack the weight. I take 2 steps back, and drop down slowly and far below parralel. I am in total control of the weight, this is going to be better than I thought, 5 reps is almost a guarantee. Just before i change directions and explode up, CLANK!!!! all of the weight shifts to my left leg and I almost lose control. WHAT THE FUG??? I think as my legs go into survival mode and drop down bringing my backside back under the weight so not to extend my lower back. I go to lower the weight to the safety catches and that is when I realize as the bar gets much lighter on my right side and does not go any lower. I have caught one side of the bar on the lowest peg in the squat rack. I bet you can imagine the string of obscenity that escaped me after I was able to safely get out from under the weight. Intensity spent in a burst of anger and frustration, i feel my adrenaline subside into the inevitable weak feeling that follows every adrenaline rush. I sit on the closest bench ready to walk out with my hands in the air. Knowing I could not get that intensity back if I tried.

And then... the power of the support of a good woman. My wife starts stripping the bar and puts it back up on the rack while I unwrap my knees. I think that is nice of her. Then to my dismay she proceeds to put the weight back on the bar. I told her it is really no use, I am spent, toast, the adrenaline rush did me in. I just don't have anything left now. She smiles and says, okay Honey, then she continues putting the weight back on, pulls the support pin out of the bottom position so I can't get hung up on it and says. You can do it Honey, you might not get as many as you would have but you can do this. Now that is a good woman! Knowing she is right, I do my best to psych myself back up and I get under the bar. No adrenaline this time, just determination and the desire not to let her down. I unracked the weight and pushout 3 solid and very deep reps with 375. Even with being exhausted I got 3, I still would like to think 5 was in my grasp, but I got 3. That is not a PR for all time, but it is a PR for anything I have done in the past couple of years. The most I have ever done is 455 for 1 rep. I have at one time managed to get 405 for 3 reps however those were 10 years ago at least. Anyway just wanted to share the story because I thought I was done for. My wife believed in me and forced me to believe in myself. Pretty Awesome, even without the PR for recent years.

I am not sure how much that says. LOL Of course this last bout of tendonitis I am going through is completely my fault. I pretty much had it licked but the 130 lb dumbells were calling my name. The higher doses of PRIME had in the zone. I felt well indestructible until I felt the twinge of soreness coming back after hitting the 110 for 10 and I just kept on going up. Oh well lessons learned. Time to grow the wheels and heal the elbows. I am even using wraps now, total change of behavior. Part of the acceptance that my joints and tendons are aging faster than my mind and muscle. I am really hoping I wont have to stop working upper body altogether again for a few weeks but it is a possibility.

Yah I here yuh.. hey how do you think I fugged up my shoulder!! It's been a blessing in disguise though.. I have learned a lot about how to grow using lighter weight. I have been able to tighten up my form and really get the most out of my workouts. Longevity demands a certain level of sanity... once you get use the idea it's not so bad...

Good thing we have the forums to learn from each other. It has been fun being a little creative with workouts. Just kinds of targeting this or that from day to day while trying to grow some wheels and larger caps on the delts.

Agreed, and I have to admit with her I kinda like it. She is so intense in the gym I feel I dont work hard enough sometimes and I beat myself into oblivion pretty regularly. She truly inspires me.

Great on a cut!! Hope ya heal up quick bud!! Had a cracked rib once, and that was no fun, then came down with bronchitis.
 
Pretty woman... she looks pretty youthfull as well. Her getting embarassed shows she has some humility as well... something that's a must for a good woman... well good person period.

I am getting ready to log a Test booster for her. Her testosterone is low even for a woman. Nothing ever went back to normal after our little girl 5 years ago. Endocrinologist found that her Test was really low but said he couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. Took advantage of the 2 for 1 deal on the TForce. So we will see, and be watching for any androgenic sides so we know to cut it off quickly if so. Kinda hoping getting some production going might wake the hormonal glands back up so they function normally.

She made a lot of changes running Anabolic Pump and PowerFULL so we will see how this goes.

Yah I haven't put the girls on any supps yet and won't till they get their diets consistant. I have high hopes when they do though.

Took my DominATP, 1 geranium cap 10 grams Glutamine - upon waking.

Cardio day today. Treadmill 3 MPH Random on level 20 for 45 minutes and 558 cals.

I was sweating balls. Man that geranium is serious business for energy and thermogenisis.

I am noticing the fluff that came on from eating heavier during my illness as well as this weekends fantastical food funnery is starting to go back down. Have not been on the scale. I feel that with the illness and what not I have managed to get back to where I was at the end of my Asteroid Stack. Considering the lack of cardio, and no heavy weights on upper body since then and what not this is actually a good thing. If through illness and some poor food choices I can end this bad boy at the same weight or a tad leaner than in the beginning I wil call this a raving success.
 
Yah I considered it but just picked up 3 Testopro for my next bridge... on Chris's recommondation. I went nuts on Xtend... couldn't pass that deal up.

You are really going to love this stuff! From some of the other logs it gets even better in higher doses. With 3 bottles are you planning a 3 times a day dose for 8 weeks or regular dose for 12?

Diet: Was trying to diet at first but got pretty sick and ate just above maintenance cals for 2 of the weeks. Week 1 2200 cals 50% Protien, 25% for both fat and carbs. 2 weeks while sick, 2800-3000 cals most of the extra calories in form of carbs. Had a few extra cheat meals during that time as well. Final week diet was same as first.

Training: 3 full body workouts a week. Very little cardio due to illness, and missed almost 1 week of training. Light movements on upper body, and pushed harder on legs during the last portion of the run.


Any effects on mood:

This definitely increased my Alpha Male feel. Made me typically happier and more positive yet less accepting of BS. I was not willing to put up with anything I felt was challenging my boundaries. I noticed every guy who walked by and sized me up. I also noticed I was doing the same with them. (not in a negative way)

Any effects on libido:

Very positive effect on libido. I already have an overactive libido so for me to notice means it was definitely an increase. After a bit it started to come and go. I was still very "ready" even while I was sick.

Any effects on strength:

I was not able to really push on upper body, however I had some impressive strength increases on legs.

Any effects on endurance:

I am unable to really comment on this due to the fact I had severe asthmatic bronchitis attack and am just now back to about 95% lung capacity.

Miscellaneous comments:

I really feel that the product worked very well and recommended it to several peers. It was a very nice feel, like being a teenager all over again would be the best way to explain it. I feel my initial goal would have been easily met barring the illness impeding my ability to push anything. For me to have been eating more freely during my illness and not doing much cardio I typically would have pounded on some fat. I am an ecto and can put on 20 lbs of fat in a month of loose eating if not careful. So this says a good bit about the increase in metabolism. I only lost a little bit of muscle during my illness, and feel I put it right back on and maybe another pound in the 8-10 days I was able to push it again. That tells me it definitely has the abilty for new muscle.

I was looking at my abs this morning and noticed they were a tiny bit smoother but my obliques were leaner and getting veins in them again. Then I realized when I put on my belt that I was an inch smaller in the waist today than when I started. I have a little loose skin on my abdomen and when my stomach get smaller it takes a little bit for the skin to tighten back up to the abs again. I did get up over 200 lbs during the 2 weeks of almost being inactive, 203 to be exact so the waist came back down below what it at the start from an inflated 2 inches or so above my starting point. Very Nice!

My only regret is that I got so sick and was unable to really dedicate 100% to testing the product to it's full ability. However it not only kept me from backsliding during a time of inactivity and higher caloric intake, but alowed me to make some strength increase upon recovery. For that I am greatful.

Thanks, I wanted to be sure that people didn't just see the numbers at the top and be like well that aint much of a change. With those extenuating circumstances what I ended up with was pretty damn impressive.
