Somehow I think this kid has the type parents who are driving him to perform, it's sad when parents push kids to that level. It reminds me of the little muscular kid who's father was accused of juicing the boy at like 7years old. Of course there is the possibility that he's enjoying it, but he didn't seem to be.

if so LOL
I don't see what's wrong with training kids at a young age, as long as they still have time for "normal" kid activities. If it were more than a couple hours a day I could see how it would be unreasonable, though.
Would it be sad if the parents were pushing their kids to learn reading, writing, math, and science at a young age? Would it be terrible if a 7 year old could do college math (or some crazy looking gymnastics ****)?

Motivating a kid is one thing...but take a guy that my friend knew that was starving his kid and beating him if he didn't learn mathematics and alternate languages and programming.
You say it's worth it to that extreme?
Now I'm pissed off at my parents for not pushing me to do this when I was 5.
