Took standard one scoop dose and sipped a little before workout and slowly drank the rest after. I workout at lunch hour and need something to combat sleepiness around 1 to 2 pm. This stuff was ok but gave me the squirts! Probably mostly the caffeine but have gas, bloating, and the sh**s.
Can't recommend.
 
The cotton candy flavor was awesome. But I too had major gas and squirt issues with it. Maybe if taken with food, would have been better than on empty stomach.
 
I also got drowsy an hour or so after drinking it. Guess I need to try the decaf version. Getting order of Noopept in mail today. Hope this works. Tried Modafinil for few days but also gave me gas and insomnia.
 
Just looked choline up in webmd and I think your spot on! Had the sweating, diahhrea, and the body odor. I'll try much smaller dose next time. A very small dose.

I was going to ask if you had tried it a second time at half scoop...I've only seen a reaction like that with 1-2 other people...do that, then report back :)

I went through a couple tubs of Caffeine free Focus XT and for me it was the bomb. Never had any stomach issues either.


Npept was good. Took a while for me to notice the effects but I noticed a dramatic change after I stopped usage for about three weeks. Memory wasn't nearly as sharp

Same with me. Can't use this product - even at 1/4 dose. It's not the choline. I take choline daily - and it does not make me tired.

Yes, although I've used supps before that had some of the Ingredients in FXT. Like choline: had that in some other pre wo supp before. I'll need to keep a list of supps with bad sides and avoid them.

FXT can make you drowsy initially, especially because of Choline. What form of choline do you normally supplement with?

Haven't used supps in long time and don't normally take choline. Took focus XT to see if it could help with afternoon sleepiness. Dr. prescribed modafinil, but that upset my stomach too and caused insomnia. Just got noopept in the mail today so will try that tomorrow.

Ah, well if the goal is to prevent sleepiness, then FXT may not be right for you. FXT is best when periods of Focus are a must and works best in the presence of an external stimulus. If you get tired, we recommend starting at half a scoop and working up from there.

I've seen people have the same issues... but it's never happened to me. Try a half scoop like schizm recommended

^^^ agreed; had a similar experience. First product I threw out after a couple uses.

And see if you poop half as much!

I had exactly the same experience -even at as little as 1/4 the dose; however, I regularly supplement with ingredients such as choline with no issues. Can't recommend it either. I tried various dosing and basically found out a number of people have the same problem - so it's in the supplement grave yard.

For people that are effected by it such as me - even a 1/4 scoop causes drowsiness.
 
I was seeking answers...and noted that you can find the drowsiness comments in other postings on this and other forums.....

How long did you use it for before you gave up on it?

I had the same effect for a number of days but use it regulary now without issue.

Gave up after about 2 weeks - could not stand feeling drowsy.....tried off an on after...but same results.
 
I've never had any problem with it. I always take a full scoop in the evening as I'm leaving work, so I can focus and stay awake during class.
 
I'm pushing 50 and find my gastro-intest system more and more sensitive to stimulants like what's in Focus xt and, sadly - coffee.

Then caffeine in general is the problem.
