hey guys I was wondering what was the reccomended way to dose fenugreek, I'm currently taking 1 in morning , 1 PRE-W, 1 PWO

what do you guys think?!?

I've tried 600mg a day and 1000mg and they seemed to work good, more so the 1000mg dosing.

Right now I'm trying TitaniumXL which is 1700mg a day and it's working better then the other 2 dosing, I'm very impressed with this high dose.

Sweat I think? I just know that I smelt like syrup lol.

The smell is pretty real and pretty gross. When you sweat, you'll notice. I've taken above 3g/day without really noticing much of anything except bigger loads.

Hey Maxximal. I think you're saying that this product increases hunger, but I can not understand your grammar at all really. Can you re-type this please? I apologize, but I'm serious about the hunger aspect. I'm looking for something like this.

what`s up FOG!!

I used PP Phytotestosterone for 8 weeks @ 4 caps
and the old bottle of Athletix Titanium has 90 caps but not remember how much Fenugreek has in it I dosed 4 caps a day 8 weeks
another product has used was bulk powder Fenugreek (50% Fenuside) @ 3g daily (yeah super oily skin all day, hornier "like on DHT" and super aggressive all the damn it time)

the point is with the three products I got a colossal hungry all the time. the fenusides in Fenugreek is a diosgenin if I read and remember correctly this in the body converts to DHEA.

On overall is a great stuff.

The answer largely depends, upon what you're looking to accomplish. Fenugreek is a fantastic source of furostanolic saponins, and is often used in test boosting products for that purpose. However, it's also a superb source of 4-hyroxy-L-isoleucine which is some studies has demonstrated excellent glucose disposal properties.

The absolute pinnacle of Fenugreek extracts was Sabinsa's "Fenusterols", standardized to a 70% saponin content. It was available in bulk at one time, and was an absolutely fantastic product. Fenugreek of this sort will boost appetite, vastly improve blood flow due to its vasodialation effects and assist in managing carbohydrate metabolism.

Furostanolic saponins are VERY beneficial to the heart, an often overlooked attribute. If you look at Tribulus for example, the MOA is quite similar (although there aren't quite as many furostanolic saponins, spirostanolic saponins dominate in MOST extracts). There is still an open debate as to whether these saponins boost test. Where there is concensus, is that they vastly improve bloodflow to the genetials.

Ever wonder why certain androgens do the opposite, (i.e. Deca d!ck)? It's for this reason that many bodybuilders (particularly in Europe), run Trib/Fenugreek if they can't get their hands on Viagra or like ED products. If your junk is getting a boost in bloodflow from this stuff, you can bet your coronary arteries are too...

I wonder how much the NOW fenugreek has of this particular extract....

Nice post though, you definitely have some knowledge on the saponins ;)

Thank you both... I studied these intensely when the original tribulus (tribestan) hit the market in the late 1980's. Both the spirostanolic and furostanolic saponins hold value, yet the furostanolic are better suited/studied insofar as for performance enhancement purposes are concerned.

NOW is known to make some very high quality products. I can't say as I've used their particular version, so I can't really comment. What is clear, is that the plant genus Tribulus (various strains), Fenugreek, Discorea Deltoidia etc. are rich in these furostanolic saponins and are biologically active in humans. That doesn't mean they all boost test, though I do think they do via HPTA stimulation to some degree. I don't think there is ANY question as to their vasodialating properties, positive effect on libido, in some cases blood lipids and other general health markers.

Sabinsa is at the cutting edge of this research, IMO. If you've ever read/sampled their product literature, you know what I'm talking about. They don't use before and after pictures, they use real science. If you see a product using their stuff, you know that company went the extra mile - to get the good stuff.

Agreed!
But then I think he fears being labelled a sell out and cant devote his time to helping others reach their goals.

I do struggle with this, and haven't entirely ruled it out. While I've been solicited to consult on various companies formulations, I have yet to do a product. That MAY change, but time will tell. The product would have to be unique, something special and/or a new combination not yet seen. I've been testing two such items, but the results haven't been to my satisfaction. A 3rd is on the way, and it for sure fits the "unique" category. Like fine wine, it takes time to do these things right. Plus, I have a track record for getting people to Gainsville. Not going to rush anything, and jeopardize my people's success/BP's good name ... :)
