Fat loss insan1ty with Sup3r-11 and Ignit3

60 mins if I take 495 120 if I take RT 9 to 495

Wow, in thirty minutes we could be oiling each other up with BJs coconut oil. I swear it is closer to 90, but u drive fast I bet. Haha.

Bull**** that I'm in the middle of the midwest, nowhere close to anybody

Yeah, that is bullsh1t. Get your wife into the Patriots and then tell her you are moving closer to Tom Brady.

Brother, I love Elon, but move North and we can start our own cult. You, me, and hulk. Crushing iron.

Move everyone. Duh.
Speaking of. I'm in Floriduh.

1200

You should try to hunt down hairygrandpa while he is there...haha. kind of a big state I know.

Today's Weigh in:

Bodyweight: 171.6 pounds
Aria Bodyfat %: 18.5
Waist: 36.75"

Uptick is obviously from the high calorie day/carbs

Absolute shyt day today. Thinking about walking out. Can't be that difficult to find a job, right? If not, I've been dirt poor before so I'm ok with it.

That was actually discussed when we were there this year. Probably never happen though.

That's how it starts, bro. Every vacation got a little bit longer and then the discussion began.... What if we.... Nah.... The next year... Hrm, wonder what these houses here cost.... Nah... Next year, ask a realtor to show us some stuff... Go home... Put house on market and move.

:)

Come on down and live the dream with us!

SFreed, I had someone tell me once, ALWAYS be interviewing. You can always say no to offers, and when you are doing well, you negotiate better. Don't walk out yet. Go get something better, then give them the what's up!

Howz about not making major life changing decisions while on cycle, on a strict cut, or both? Just a thought.....I can shut up if need be....:)

Well, how do you make any decisions at all then? Aren't we always cutting, bulking and cycling? haha.

I'm sure SFReed was just venting too - and if it's that bad that he needs to make a spontaneous decision...he should do what he needs to do. Chances are, he's not going to get any good influences here. We're all BAD influences on each other. And that's the way it should be. haha.

So, SFreed, go tell whoever, to just go F' themselves. And if they have an issue, we'll send the Back Alley Crew after them.

Yep, mostly venting. Been with the same company for almost 25 years and just starting to get tired of it. Nobody else to cry to, so you guys get to hear it occasionally.

Plus, at 53 I'm a little old to be changing careers. Not impossible, but not a smart move, either.

I'm 37 - what's a career? I think my parents used to talk about having on one of those....

Today was a low calorie day, but my diet wasn't so great. Not bad but I didn't get enough protein. I have had 2 TBSP of coconut oil, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 4 oz Greek yoghurt, 6 oz. Of rice (left over from last night) and 6 oz. Of chicken. Total of about 830 calories and just 70 g protein. Too much fat, but the oil did make me not hungry at all.

Spent 35 minutes on the treadmill, and made it 3.4 miles, burned about 400 calories. Should have gone longer but I ran out of time. Will probably do it again tomorrow.

Today's morning weigh in:

Bodyweight: 169.7 pounds
Aria Bodyfat %: 18.1%
Waist: 36.5"

A pound and a half from my low, I really feel like I should have been back there already....but I will just keep plugging.

Still hitting it! Of course you'll keep plugging away, it's who you are. How long before you change gears and start working on adding muscle?

Thank you sir. As I read that, it almost made me laugh. I'm just doing my thing, getting better and better at this lifestyle, falling off and getting back up again. I appreciate the fact that you see this as who I am, as well as others on here. It really makes me feel good, but I laughed because looking back over time, I've been like this for a little over a year. I spent more than a decade before that being LAZY AS FUG. Being 300 pounds took a lot of dedication, a lot of eating on a regular basis, a lot of money for food (eating out every night is expensive), a lot of commitment to time in front of my computer and TV. I guess in some way, the same tools that got me into that situation may help me get out of it too. You made me a little proud of myself though, to say that, and make me realize just how much I've changed - mentally even more than physically. Thanks.

As far as bulking - I don't know how long. I wish I did. My goal is 10% bodyfat and to not be crazy about bulking after that and get fat again. I HONESTLY thought I would be there by now, especially after my first attempt at the 6 week challenge. I am not going to lie - giving up on that goal and going to a bulk for a while crossed my mind and sounded REALLY good. But, I realized that in my situation, I still have fat to lose and giving up now will turn into a major set back for me. I may gain some muscle, but I will have to diet so severely again that I will just lose it. Plus I won't have a "physique" while I bulk at that point, so mentally it will just turn into an undefined goal that I'm chasing.

One thing that was kind of nice is that I hit 168 during the 6 week challenge and my abs were still covered in fat but I could flex them and SEE my top 2 or maybe even 4 abs - then when I went off, I could kind of guage how much fat I was putting on by the loss of definition. I was also surprised to be able to kind of tell if it was fat or water weight by the WAY it was being blurred. I can't explain it, but it was feedback beyond just having a scale that said, "Dude, you need to do something, you're getting fat again."

I'm ready to bulk though. I've got 6 months of supplements ready to go for a bulk - BMP for 2 months, FD2.0 for 2 months, then Origin for 2 months. Should be a good run.

HIT4ME youre still doing good brother, but everyone hits a snag now and then. (Stay with me). I drive a Nissan Titan. Its got a small lift, 3.5" exhaust with Y pipe, cold air intake, an UpRev tune pushing me to around 415 HP and 33x12.50x18 mud tires. My point? I can get through just about anything in this truck. ANYTHING. But every now then, I hit that one place, be it mud or snow, that turns me a little sideways, and its up to me grab the wheel, get it back in line and keep pushing. It may have got set a little off course or slowed just a bit, but in the end, it never stopped, and ended up wherever my destination is. Ok, maybe I got a little carries away. Sorry

Keep plugging away man. I know you thought you'd be 10% at that weight but that's much leaner and lighter than most people realize. Just keep getting that waist down. We're here for ya.

Actually a great analogy.

Are you telling me I've gone off the road? Are you picking on my driving? Ohhhh, I get it. Great analogy.

To further this analogy, and I know people down south don't understand this - but when it snows, sometimes you will spin your tires on the ice, and flooring it and giving it all you got will just send you off the road, you have to back off a little, get control and ease out of it.

Let's see if anyone else can build on the analogy?? We will call it, "Life is like a Nissan Titan"

Yes, it took me a LONG time to come to terms with some things. I had these images of actors, athletes, etc. who were lean and 200+ pounds and didn't give enough credit to being "enhanced". It wasn't until I saw, online, that John Grimmek was my height (5'8'') and weighed 180 pounds at 10% bodyfat - and he was one of the best in the world at that time. I'm certainly no John Grimmek. Then I started looking for images of 160 pounders at 10% bodyfat and realized....if I can hit that, it will be a better physique than most people walking around at my height. I'm not such a big guy. I have what I have to work with and I think I've done much better with it once I stopped trying to be a 200 pounder in my head. I still didn't realize how hard the last section of the journey would be. But I am loving it. If I come off like I'm complaining, it's not really. This is making me better and I am learning and making progress. Even if I want it faster, I can still see that I'm moving the needle. And when I do have a hard day, I've got you and everyone on here with all this amazing support.

Actually a great analogy.

Yes....now you have to build on it. You can even do a meme.

Definitely intrigued of what may come of that!

What? You guys didnt think I was capable of anything other than picking heavy things up and putting them back down?

Well, you do that so well. We didn't think you'd be so good at so many different things. Although, I bet you are AWESOME at busting doors down when something is on fire.

lol - had to blow up my screen to read that. It was worth it.

Lmao - you get reps for that.
