3 tbs of psyllium husk? Dang. That didn't block you up?

Yeah, I don't really measure. A lot of times I just dump as much in as the water will suspend. In this case I had a tablespoon and just did 3. If it blocked me up at all, I still lost two pounds! So there will be some more glorious weight loss in store if it did, but I feel find. It was also a low cal day so not much food in my stomach at all.

I've been looking into glucomannan/kojac because even the psyllium husks don't even make me feel any more full. But then again I never feel full.

I was raised in a family of MASSIVE over eaters. I can eat more than almost anyone I know and not feel full. I am talking about massive meals, a dessert, another dessert and then be LOOKING for sweets. I never have that feeling of, "I wish I hadn't done that"...well sometimes but it is random and rare. It seems to be a little more frequent since the fasting, but still unreliable. I actually LIKE it because it is an off switch that I wish was there more often. I am wondering if all the overeating throughout life has caused damage to my vagus nerve or something.

Sorry....tangent..but somehow I saw the connection.

Really? Hmmmm...never thought of that. May have to research now. You're scaring me here Kaprice. And I thought the low calories and crazy cardio would do me in. Turns out, psyllium husk is gonna take me out. Never even see it coming.
 
Well, the danger is in how much it expands in the stomach and intestines. Too much expansion can cause some serious problems.

don't forget the intestines. That's were a lot of the danger comes. But, yeah, definitely do your own research on it.
 
I had my last 15-rep HST-like workout tonight. I've been treating a calorie cycling diet since Tuesday. During the week off I gained 17 pounds. Since Thursday I have lost almost 12 of those pounds. Seems too easy so far...if it keeps going at all I will be happy.

Today was a 1400 calorie day....I was aiming for 1300. But it's my medium calorie day. Tomorrow is a high cal day at 2500 cals.

Workout was:

Squats:
1 x 8 x 185
1 x 12 x 245 (I probably should have gone for 240 as I got 235 x 15 last workout...but figured what the check)

Straight Legged Deadlifts
1 x 9 x 225 (then realized I forgot the last 5 pound plates so I stopped and did a real set)
1 x 15 x 235

Pull Ups
1 x 11 + 4 rest pause reps x bodyweight

Bench Presses
1 x 8 x 95 warm up
1 x 12 x 165 (not sure why I can't get to the 15 on this. Did 14 2 nights ago)

Military Presses
1 x 14 x 85 (another sticking point)

Rope Face Pulls
1 x 15 x 60

Rope Triceps Press Downs
1 x 15 x 30 (this has been a sticking point, glad to hit 15)

Barbell Curls
1 x 13 x 75

I will be in full swing on Friday. Getting the hang of the calorie cycling I think. If I am lucky I won't have 18 pounds to lose, but we will see.

So yesterday was my high calorie day. 2500 calories and I treat this as kind of a controlled cheat that I do twice per week.

For the day I had 600 calories, with about 75 g protein. Then for dinner I had homemade chili (a full 20 oz!!!) With 3 oz corn chips and 4 oz. Fat free cheese. 125 g carbs, 20 g fat, 85 g protein. I had a small piece of blueberry pie for dessert (homemade). I weighed and measured everything and ended up around 2500 for the day exactly, 160 g protein.

Today's Weigh in:

Bodyweight: 173.6
Aria Bodyfat %: 18.9%
Waist: 35.5"

Tomorrow will be a low carb day. I am pretty happy that after that big cheat and while still having food in me this morning, I was 0.1 pounds lighter than yesterday. It would be good to get around 170 or even lower with this cruising approach. Today is a moderate day, tomorrow will be low calorie and my official start of the new challenge....although now I wish I started the challenge at 184+ ...haha. talk about sand bagging.

One thing that really amazes me is that when I gained the 17 pounds, my stomach got so much bigger. I could grab so much more "fat"...it was upsetting. I guess it was mostly water though...amazing how things fill up. My abs were completely gone and I had a belly and felt like I looked more like I did at 200. My abs are starting to come back in now, at least when I flex. Still have a way to go, but glad to get back to 173 so quickly.
 
So, I have 7 bottles of Sup3r-11 left. I want to save some for the future...but I'm considering running 1 bottle at half dose (125 mg/day) for the 6 week challenge. What do you guys think? In theory I could do 4 weeks at 1/2 dose and 2 weeks at full dose too.

Any opinions?

Made the same observation. After a carb refeed all definition goes to hell.

When did you finish pct for the last run? I'd save it for a future cut but that's plenty of stock for later on. I guess it just depends on how lean you want to get.

Thought so. It certainly couldn't hurt lol. I'm still debating on that bogo on 11. There so much other stuff I'd rather spend money on that I could use now or in the near future. Such a great deal though.

I don't recall where, but I read that when we diet, all that's really happening is our fat cells are excreting the stored fat. But, the empty cells remain for quite some time. And they're just chomping at the bit to absorb fat, again. And, that's why we tend to gain fat back so quickly at the end of a diet.

They key, according to what I read, is to kill and eliminate those fat cells so there's no ready receptacle for storing the fat and thus more fat gets burned or eliminated, thus keeping us from getting fat again.

There was something details about what it takes to kill the empty fat cells, but I don't recall what that is -- unless it's just keeping them empty long enough that they die of boredom!

Yes, and there is all the hormonal changes, etc. But this wasn't even fat gain (of course since I didn't lose 12 pounds of fat nor eat enough to gain that much fat)...but those cells certainly sucked up water and expanded and I gained weight real fast.

So tonight I hopped on the treadmill. 45 minutes. 4.05 miles. 550 calories burned per fitbit.

Tomorrow is a low cal day and weights and the official restart of the 6 week challenge. again . Round 2.

Not a bad idea at all....but unfortunately I'm in sales and I have periods of being able to buy lots and lots of stuff and then things get tight while I wait for my next sale. I have no funds at the moment for any extra's...I'm even considering dropping fish oil and orange triad for a month or so. I'm trying to convince my gf to just give up cable and electricity instead so I can buy some stuff....but she's not having it. I will keep working on her.

I'm really perturbed out my finances too right now - I was going to sleep in this morning and woke up and started thinking about a BIG deal I've been working on where I found a buyer to make a multi-million dollar offer on a property (we're talking a sale that is bigger than anything 99% of real estate brokers will ever do) and the seller's response has been to stop taking my calls for over a week now. I don't think 2 people in this guy's life have ever brought him an offer for this much cash and he won't even talk to me. It is mind blowing and frustrating.

I know, save your strength and pimp the "smaller fish", more likely to be a success. Also, often when pursuing the big deals, the buyer perceives your intend, being relaxed and more pessimistic about the big fish makes deals more likely.

From my experience:
In a sense, yes. The really rich guys are treated best in a neutral way, like: " I have a great deal on hand, here is my card, if you are interested, give me a call. Now if you excuse me, I have an important meeting."
Calling them and getting pushy turns them off, they want to have the control.

It is frustrating for me because it would be a huge hit for me. But it is also frustrating because this guy has a building that is worth 2/3 of what I got him....maybe even half....based on a number of other offers and the data that is available. But I created a situation that could be win-win for everyone, and he is the one that has the MOST to gain from it, but he is maybe trying to squeeze for 10% more....based on what someone else who advised him told him and this person is going to cost the seller MILLIONS.

Haha, yeah....it will be a little bit before I can spend much on soups. But I have to just keep cutting.

Had a good workout tonight. I took Sunday and last night off because of my hurt back. Woke up this morning and I could still feel it wasn't 100% so I planned on skipping again, but I honestly just felt like giving it a shot this evening so I did.

Surprisingly I didn't have any real pain during the workout. Squatting actually felt really good, even though I went heavy for the rep range. Maybe the extra days off also helped my strength. I hit 10 reps with almost every exercise except pull ups, which I added 5 pounds to prematurely.

Squats and bench surprised me - 10 felt fairly easy. Will definitely have to increase next workout.

I've been bouncing between 172-175 for some reason (post high-calorie day - 2500). Had a fire starting, until I hurt my back. If I have time (today is super busy), I will hit the treadmill tonight. If not, I will try to get my fat ass in gear in the morning. Today I've had 400 calories and plan on doubling that before the end of the day for a total of 800.

I just got some 60% HCA powder and some glucomannan to try to play with a little and see how it does for appetite. Took 8 grams of Glucommanan and 5 grams of the HCA. We will see if it even does anything for my appetite.
 
Well, I don't feel full. But I don't really feel like I want to eat the peanut butter brownies that are in my kitchen either. And it's only been 10 minutes since the fiber. Will see how it goes. The real test is at night....

I am currently trying out the super-11 at 125 mg/day and I can't tell any difference at all, but it's less than a week so...I did have a good workout after I took a couple days off, which may just be due to increased recovery time.

If your goal is fat loss, I really think that 250 is the "sweet spot" - so 4 ml/day. I DID notice that when I doubled the dose to 500 mg, it REALLY seemed much more anabolic/potent. From a WEIGHT loss perspective, this actually didn't work out so well. I think it completely stopped my weight loss, but I was recomping and losing fat. Which is fine. I'm wondering if 125 mg may be almost as good at just straight fat loss as 250...I kind of doubt it...but I'm trying. If the stuff wasn't so hard to come by and costly I would love to run even higher doses.

Also, it is definitely effective at lowering cortisol, which I learned makes thyroid hormone less effective if you get past a certain point...and for me I think that point is around 250 mg. I was taking pharma T3 pills at 100+ mcg/day and couldn't even tell anything was in my system. Turns out SOME cortisol is necessary for T3 to enter cells.

Yeah, sorry, I am like that. I guess it comes down to - how long a run do you have planned, and how much Sup3r-11 do you have? I believe for strict weight loss, 125 is the minimum I think has any use...250 seems to be a sweet spot where the fat loss is maybe maximized and you don't hinder T3 function.

If you have enough on hand, and can go for 500 mg or even 750...it would be fun...I think you will gain strength, lose fat and recomp but it will not show on the scale. And it becomes expensive.

If you have 2 bottles and want to run for 8 weeks, I would just do 250 for 8 weeks.

If you want to play with dosing, 125 for 3 weeks, 250 for 3 weeks, 375 mg for 2 weeks may also be fun.
 
Actually, on second thought, running it with those other compounds...125 may be all you need. The other compounds are more anabolic so the added anabolism from high doses of 11-kt may not be useful. The 125-250 range is probably best in that case.

Tried to workout last night. I was extremely tired. Got to my first working set of squats and hit 5 reps...it was an increase of 10 pounds from Tuesday, but I got 10 reps on Tuesday and was hoping for 7-8 reps at the new weight. I was going to do a second set...but realized I just had no energy. Long week at work. And thinking about it today, I've spent A LOT of time driving and sitting behind a desk and my legs are stiff feeling from all the inactivity it seems.

I increased some weights since Tuesday, and didn't get the 10 reps on those exercises. Felt stronger today and had the energy to do a second set when I didn't hit 10 reps (at least in most cases).

My back still isn't 100%...it feels a little funky...I may stick with my A workout and do squats instead of doing my B workout with Deadlifts on Monday...we will see. Hate to skip deads though .
