Well, quitting Excelsior is not really difficult in my case as most of the time I have to force myself to take it. A few days ago I wanted to take around 3g of 08/2023 to finish the tub and I ended up taking just a little bit over 2g. When I started repeating in my mind "An overpriced toxin" as I drank it, it was not intended to force myself to quit, it was just me wondering how just sipping slowly a bottle with 2g could put me on the brink of a panic attack but to this day I don't know if it's psychological because the feeling seems to have somewhat "transferred" to other PWOs that never had that side effect. It's complex to know when the reaction is physical, psychological or both feeding off each other. Anyway almost anything is better than living with ADHD symptoms on a daily basis, not only because the anhedonic feeling of not being able to focus on anything sucks on its own, but also because it tends to get you in trouble when people who talk to you feel that you are not listening, you interrupt when it's not your turn to speak, etc. I am shocked that you could read the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy, I could probably not read a whole page without standing up or get lost reading lines without understanding what I am reading.
My 06/24 is in a red tub. I think it's the best Excelsior I have ever taken. It works for ADHD and it does not have this edgy feeling I dislike so much. It is a great tool and not an overpriced toxin like 08/23-black is.
Is it true you used to take 2 whole scoops of Excelsior? Did you weigh them? Were you really taking 12g in one sitting? Did you try this with black 8/23 tubs?
That's what I've been doing with every preworkout: prepare it in the morning and finish it at night, slowly sipping throughout the day. I have always felt quite frightened seeing people gulping their stim junkie PWO all at once. "It is intended to be used that way" doesn't matter, a predictable effect that you can modulate on the go is much safer than not being able to go back into the past to take less, a sustained release stimulant is more useful and less damaging than an instant release one (see nicotine as an example).
When taking 1/3 of scoop, does the yohimbine still ruin the experience? Can you still feel the hidden ingredient at that dose?
