Equate complete multivitamin. 1 tablet a day and like 300 servings, I dare say it's a steal, sir!

Doesn't make me throw up.

I've been using Orange Triad lately and am pleased. Almost ready to start my 2nd bottle.

awesome, really cant be beat :)

its a great value since its 3 products in one:

multivitamin
joint supplement
digestion/immune aid

I feel better and dont get sick hardly ever when I use multi's. CL's Orange Triad is what Im currently using.

Little known fact... GNC Mega Men and the Vitamin Shoppe Ultimate Man multi are the same. GNC makes Ultimate Man for VS.
SHHHHH!!!!! Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.....

I voted for "not a multi, but some type of vitamin".
I used Optimen and Now Adam religiously for a while.
I discontinued use about 6-8 months ago just to see if there would be a difference in overall well being and I honestly haven't noticed any difference whatsoever, except for saving about $20 bucks a month. I do use Poseidon regularly though.

I love my flinstone chewables!

lol.

Im currently using Orange Triad and like it, although Im not really sure how you tell if one multi is better then another.

Actually now im wondering i should continue using it when i start my xfactor stack since it has some "natural anti-inflammatories" according to the web site.

Bought Animal Pack today, 'cause it's on sale, and I'm at the end of my VS ultimate man multi.
I've wanted to try it, just to see if I can tell a difference. I can take my VS multi or not, and cant tell a difference really.
Might try out the Orange Triad after the Animal Pack is done. We shall see...

MVP/ZMK baby!

Orange triad is good if you need the added joint support, that was the main thing I noticed while on it. Went through two bottles of it and I may have come close to choking on those horse pills 3 or 4 times. :)

Why wouldn't you be taking a multi..

I'm cheap, just go to Walmart and get a 300 tab Equate, very cheap and lasts a LONG time.

Been taking this for 7 years:
TryPVC.com
mucho ingredients, everything one needs, right amounts, big manufacturer. Don't get colds, flu's, infections hardly ever except once, whole family on it. I take an oz or two before I train, cleans the blood allows for max O uptake.

I take Ximo ephedra tea for max bronchial and vasodilation.

MyXimo.com coming in a couple weeks of this post. Only a handful of people know about this pre launch.

I have used Animal Pak religiously, but am going in another direction. I have a store nearby that sells Now Adam, will be giving that a shot

How many here supplement with a multi-vitamin?

do you find that it adds to your energy, take from it, or neither?

brand?

I've used Gnc Mega-men sport and I was using ON Opti-Men right now but stopped.

I find that the days I take it; im tired, the day just drags on, then the very next day if I do not take it Im full of energy.

I want to take a multi, but i don't want that problem any longer .... :aargh:

Now ADAM is an awesome multi, i take 2 tables every mourning. Animal Pak is good to, however ADAM is cheaper plus you don need to swallow 9 pills in a row.

someone at work told me last week that he saw something on the news from a study that said if you take 2 or more daily vitamins in one day between the ages of 18-45 then it increases your risk of developing prostate cancer. anyone else heard anything like this?! it doesn't sound to legit to me and i usually take a couple a day.

Most multi's (Men's) now have sterols or saw palmetto aimed at prostate health so worse case I would guess it is a wash. I have read a few places about the calcium issue as well but don't see that being such an issue for most people around here who have a much better than average diet, and level of physical activity. Prostate cancer still looks like one of those when not if scenarios if you live long enough kind of like heart failure.

All of these studies drive me nuts anyway since I don't like the fact that they draw a conclusion from older men who have been eating doughnuts and fast food most of their lives and get winded walking to their mailbox.

I take a multi (beverly Pak) and greens (8 in 1) to balance out any nutrients I may miss during the day compared to all of the other things we spend money on this seems like a relatively cheap way to make sure the basics are covered.

Currently taking equate complete multivitamin (same as centrum w/ lycopene)

300 tabs, not once have I thrown up

I use a multi-vit. i think it makes me feel better and I do have more energy when I take it. Right now I'm taking Life's Fortune multi-vit and mineral, I also take vit-c and zinc. I used to take GNC megamen sport. I like Life's Fortune better.

I use VS Ultimate Man. Could never tell if it works well but I know I don't eat all my fruits and veggies so it must be beneficial.

I've been using the Life Extension High Potency Multi. It calls for 2 per day, but I only take 1. It seems to me your body only absorbs so much then you just piss the rest of it out.

For the past several months I have taken a multi and nothing else and over the past 6 weeks I have taken an iron pill and have not felt this good in a long time. I think most of it is the multi and iron pills and some of it is just going through a complete reboot and not taking anything.

I had a trial bottle of Alive!! multi vit's and really liked them.
I could actually feel a difference on this multi vs. my animal pak.

And , if youve been out on the town, who is going to take all 10 pills in an animal pack to prevent a hangover?

To conclude,
V.S. ultimate man: FIRED
Animal pak: FIRED!!
Alive!: HIRED!

I've never taken a multi or any other vitamin for more than a few days. I monitor my micronutrients and find with enough fruit and vegetables, my daily needs are met; many people forget about fruits.

yeah i started using orthocore -- i recommend it highly. i used to take animal pak, but I felt it had some outdated ingredients- only problem is, its about 34 dollars.

I have been taking Animal stak multi-v for about 2 weeks now. From my experience, although i never really had much energy in the mornings to begin with, I have noticed that I am either relatively the same throughout the day or even moderately more lethargic and tired. I have found that getting myself to the gym has been a bit harder due to the decreased energy.

I think i've had the same issue, the past few weeks i've been taking alot of multivitamins and fish oil and I feel more tired.. Multis were Nature Made and Trader Joes brand and fish oil from costco.. but I just feel like **** most of the time and not very energetic. Should I stop taking them for a bit and see how I feel?

a lot of stuff out there is crap and not balanced right. Look on eBay for USANA Essentials. they are pricey, but you really only need to take 2 pills daily, not the recommended 4.
in 2 weeks I can assure you that you will start feeling better. stay on a month then go off for 2 weeks and you will soon notice how much better the Essentials made you feel.

How about ESSENTIALS?

All in one multi vit/mulit mineral, digestive enzymes, joint support, BCAAs, creatine and beta alanine. For about $40 for a month

by what company? because I know the only Essentials is Usana, and it is a trademarked name.

Yes I noticed similar feelings, over the years I have learned to vary the type of multiple (I alternate between 3 different ones) and skip days that seems to help.
