DC's New Year, New Life 2019

I am normally happy about where I live but these crazy cold spells have me extremely happy to have temps in the 40's which is something you won't normally hear me say.

Btw it was a true -50* windchill here at 7am going to work. The moisture leaking out of my bandanna when I exhaled through it would fog my glasses and then freeze there in moments.

I don’t remember it ever being this cold here in my life.

in the winter of 1978 there was a 'great' blizzard that hit the Midwest....January 13, 1978 I started boot camp at great lakes naval academy. I worked outdoors both yesterday and today and trust me it was nothing compared to 78!!!

Buying dress shirts with a 23incher sucks though

Yeah..i gotta buy those expander things as well as take my dress shirts to the tailor. Dress shirts with necks that big are made for dudes with 50+ inch waists..mine is 36 now. Also..arms are 39inch lengths...just sucks. A decent suite can set me back a few grand easy..not even some fancy name brand thing..just like for weddings and funerals ya know

So, just got off the phone with the Doc. He said bloodwork looked great, just have to go donate some blood. So I got 12 weeks before I have to do more bloods

Damn climate changes. You are welcome to North of artctic circle you guys, we have these temperatures every year. Who the hell decides it's a good thing to live here? South America is annoying is hell too, 100+ and humid

I could deal with that. I grew up in South Lousiana, summer time 100+ degrees, and 100% humidity year round. I cant stand the COLD, and with the Nerve Damage in my face, anything below 32 degrees I have to wear a face mask. Do you know what its like to walk into a gas station in Detroit with a facemask on, without getting shot. Lol

Yeah LA is damn annoying in the summers. I've noticed by living and traveling around the world how different the weather's are, some places have warm weather year round but doesn't peak very high, some peak extremely high but also get very cold. And some places like phuket Thailand is just hell year round. Coming to think about it almost no place will satisfy me, it's either too warm or too cold. I like it on the 70s (max 80s).

Haha no but I bet you've tried that huh? I'm northern Scandinavia you could probably walk in with a gun and people would just think you'd be joking. If we have one murder a year it's big news.

I have lived in Louisiana, Georgia, Texas, Washington State, Germany, Kentucky, and Michigan. But have been all over the world.

And if you walk into a gas station in Detroit with a facemask on they pull a gun and ask you to take the mask off, before you come in. Lol

Well, looks really nice! As long as your daily protein input is reasonable. :)

Humidity bothers me more than anything else !

A lot of people think so but any place with extreme humidity normally doesn't reach more than 100 thankfully.

I feel there's two types of extremes, places with humidity that makes you sweat even at low tempetures like the south of US and extreme heats where sweat just evaporates and you don't cool down, makes your body fry like Arizona or Nevada dessert. I've never been to a place known for its humidity that often goes above 100F.

I guess at some point the dry heat will be worse but it takes more degrees.

Imagine if we didn't have to wear clothes and we didn't care about others seeing us drenched in sweat I think it wouldn't bother us as much.

Kuwait and Iraq are places where dry heat just sucks. I have seen up to 140 degrees, and trust me, people say its a dry heat. Yeah it dont matter 140 degrees sucks no matter what

Wow! I don’t understand the language of this formula, but it look so Scientific and if one should consume all of this, they should make Optimal Quality Gainz!

Yeah it's just no the same. When it gets that hot you're literally frying. But not 140 ey that would be world record? :D

I don't understand how people live in these places, then again they'd probably ask how we live in the arctic.

Probably heat index, most likely

Hey you'll probably love eq but why only 200? Then again it's 20 weeks and you have a lot of other stuff in the cycle, just seems kinda low but I haven't ran eq at 200.
I may end up bumping it up. But, first time I'm running it so I wanna see how I feel on it.
