I was hereing that IN will be pretty tough opening weekend for gun, full moon keeping them up and storms coming to keep them bedded. I usually hunt opening weekend in Brown county on my friend's land but the wife's birthday is Sunday so she's got me

Yeah it was a pretty crappy weekend. Someone shot a 175 inch monster weve been chasing all bow season about 3/4 mile down the road...

I saw you can buy that specialized mountain dog training pack on elite fts. Mountain dog seems like a sweet program
It definitely is a sweet program. I just dont have the time to fully commit to it right now or I would be. Soon though.

Update later today when I have more time.

No one killed my 150" beast this weekend. He's been wised up ever since I skinned him with a broad head. He's my personal quest. I'm going to find him Saturday. He's only 4.5 this year. He was 130's last tear at 3.

4.5 is a pretty old deer around here haha. ALOT of guys kill all the 1.5-2.5's here. I cried a little with every gunshot I heard Saturday morning. I stopped counting at 20 at 7:30.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Truth is there hasn't been anything to update on. Just been completely unmotivated the last couple weeks. In a funk I guess. I need something to work towards. Something to get me outta this!

If I told you my funk turned into me becoming somewhat fat and undid a ton of my hardwork and dieting would that help? I took 3 steps forward and 2 back dude. You'll hate your self if you slough too long.

Honestly dude that's exactly where I'm already at. Ive gotten so soft over the last few weeks it's not even funny. I didnt think it was possible to go downhill so fast. And its for no other than lack of motivation is what bothers me the most. Completely dissapointed in myself lately tbh. And what makes it even worse is its not really the dieting Thats been lacking its the gym time. My diet hasn't been great by any means but not horrible. Still making the right choices in foods just not getting my butt up and going. And when i do its just sub par. I dont really know what to do to get my head back in it right now....sorry if this comes off as complaining its not meant to lol

We all have the same issue at times man. I'll be honest though, the quicker you get it under control the better.

I recently went through the same thing. Being consistent with the routine, even if sub-par, eventually brings/brought me out of it.

Okay, here it is, join me in an Unwrap your abs for Christmas Challenge. We will both work to lean up, it does not have to be to get to your abs perse' just a set real measurable goal that you will hit. The kicker is, if you do not reach your goal we have to post a video of us doing something horribly embarrassing on YouTube and leave it there. I used to do this every year for a while, and it works really well to motivate you because it gives you something to lose.

Typically something like a video of yourself dancing around in a tutu, dress or something equally horrifying. You know real embarrassing stuff. Now when you do something like this you post a video on youtube saying you are going to do this and you post updates. Hold yourself accountable, send as many people the link as possible so they hold you accountable and will call you out if you do not follow through.

So the question is, are you Man enough to take the challenge? I will do it if you are down. We will make a thread in here and invite others. A little over a month is enough to make some decent progress so make it challenging but attainable.

Anyone who wants to join in is welcome just be sure you will follow through if you fail to meet your goals...

What about by Feb 1 gentlemen? That would give us two months to make some serious headway. Long enough to make a good difference and short enough to put the pressure on...

All these would be prefaced by the participants names -
Get Legendary By February, or Fit By February, or Give their best or show their worst by February First. I would use Freak but the Finaflex Freaks have that one pretty much cornered. LOL

Doesn't have to have the month in it. What about (insert names here) Put their resolve to the test or end up in a dress!

I think I like that last one, it will get some attention and get people in the log pushing us but secretly hoping we fail also. LOL

Nice, Bean just told me he was in! How about you all send me your goals and I will do a write up for the log. Do you guys know of anyone you want to invite who needs some motivation, or shall we keep the title to just us 4 and others can join in if they want but they just wont be named in the title. I think lots of people could use extra motivation about now.
 
I could be keen for a friendly competition, this time of year always tests the motivation!

Ha right on. I set mine to get Down to 187 since that would be an all time low for be by a lb. Waking up around 197 currently so I thought it was a legit goal.

Went in and did my first MD style workout today. Went a little over my 12 sets for phase 1 but I felt pretty damn good So I didnt want to stop. Pump was absolutely stupid lol

Lat raise with pause and hold-30 sec rest
15-15
15-12
20-12
20-10
25-10
25-8

WG press- hands on the collers of BB lower to chest and pause. 35 sec rest
45-15
55-15
65-12
75-7

Rear felt peck deck- 1 minute rest
75-35
75-25
70-27

I wanted to end with some BW stuff. All sets were done back to back with 35 sec rest periods.

Interesting ratio on the leucine, isoleucine and valine. Interesting mix in general actually. Seems like a bit is missing. *shrug*

I like the 4:1:1 here on that, it is a nice mix. A lot of people know that luecine is the most anabolic but don't know that isoluecine has a higher affinity in the muscle. So the higher the ratio the better but the others are still needed. Looks solid. I am sure these are tasty since they are Purus!

So is everyone in agreement about deadlifting in a dress with a video posted? I guess in DanB's case he could leave his set to private people with a link only so his Dad doesn't see it. Don't want anyone getting disowned.
 
Not sure the DL in a dress would work for me or rather you all if I lost. There's like three people in my gym when I'm there In the am. Plus all I have access to are my wife's Zumba clothes :-)
