Cycle Critique

It's from Supreme Labs...a slightly different chemical structure than normal Cardarine

I'm not really sure the difference lol

Haven’t used it but it’s touted as being stronger per mg. Lots of places selling it and that’s the general sales pitch. But the price difference isn’t crazy either.

I know carderine went back to human trials not too long ago, any idea where this other version stand's?

I have not read into it in the slightest. Cardarine works well, is affordable, and is safe enough by my measure to use it in the limited capacity that I will so I haven’t dug deeper. I’m not exactly doing a bunch of cardio or trying to get lean here

I normally only use it at 10-12.5mg when on orals. Or before bed for gda purposes. I never noticed the cardio benifits at any dose so I don't bother for that purpose

That's interesting...I feel like I have an extra lung when I take this stuff...cardio gets wayyy better.

I basically only use it on orals because it makes such a big difference in limiting the capacity hit orals give me. And it helps maintain better HDL in their presence as well.

So, it works as a GDA at bedtime?

Cardarine has been around for many years and has been used by Olympians for who knows how long but it just doesn't seem like a chemical that needed upgrading. I've seen rad 150 recently somewhere too. I try to avoid being the guinea pig whenever possible.

U just take it after a carb heavy meal? @Smont

Pinned 200mg L-Carnitine in each bicep prior to arm training today...damn that hurt a little bit

I need recommendations on protein powders boys? I've been using Granite Nutrition Whey for a while...looking to try something new

Need more details. Why are you looking to change? Price? Taste? Profile? Digestion issues?

And how much do you use now/how often? Some things are better for shakes, better for oats, better for sludge. I have about 4 tubs of different things open at once for different reasons, typically.

I just mix with water...usually 2 shakes per day...just looking for a good isolate

Lol all pure isolate tastes fairly disappointing. A good isolate should be watery even with only 4 oz fluid.

Dymatize makes some solid flavor options at good price points, and their stuff has always been legit when third-party tested.

^I'll second the dymatize recommendation. I'm normally fussy as fuk with flavoring, but dymatise chocolates and pebble cocoa are all pretty good. But their hydrolysed whey is premium whey, you'll pay accordingly.

I just made a shake with the Dymatize Fruity Pebbles....

Any of you guys every use Glutathione injections? Is this any different than daily NAC supplementation?

Aside from liver health and skin lightening...im not sure what the benefit would be

my recollection from reading up on studies and meta-studies a few years back is that there's virtually no evidence that glutathione supplementation has any real benefits.

Also I'm very much a fan of blended proteins but if you want isolate I will also vouch for the Dymatize stuff tasting real good.

You really don’t need any studies: the immune support benefits are extremely obvious. Pin 2-300mg IM when you are sick and you will feel decidedly better the next day, maybe the day after even. Pinning 600mg+, it can be a solid restoration play, but as much as it lowers inflammation at those bigger doses, I’d treat it with the same infrequency as NSAIDS.

Now, orally, that doesn’t seem to do anything worth the expense.

That's fair - I don't recall if any of the studies I was reading dealt with IM or SubQ administration, or if they specified. I'd have to go back and take a look but I imagine they only dealt with oral dosing. This was a few years back when glutathione was really being pushed as a recovery supplement and being added to pre-, intra- and post- workout products, so that would make sense.

looks

pretty solid looking to me. Any hair issues with primo.

Haven't started yet, but I think hair could be an issue if one is predisposed to male pattern baldness.

Knock on wood...I have really full and thick hair...so does my dad and grandpa

Pretty sure I saw someone say injectable glutathione can help repair kidneys.

I just realized a had a bottle from AA in the fridge I forgot about....never open

Do u just inject this stuff cold? Lol or should I put in a syringe and warm this bad boy up?

I don’t know why, but their stuff crashed that I had in the fridge. Several other guys here noticed the same thing, including their rep. Which doesn’t make any sense, but just a fair warning.

I have pinned it cold in a hurry, but it’s optimal to let it warm up after it’s drawn up. Just clutching the full syringe for a minute in your palm will warm it a lot. It’s pretty uncomfortable regardless, but the cold definitely adds to the unpleasant nature of the shot.

What do you mean by "crashed"? I've heard this term before but never inquired to what it actually meant

It means the active came out of the solution; what was once one smooth seamless liquid now has separated ingredient in it.

Things that are oil-based like AAS crystals can be heated up to get it to melt back in, but the way this glutathione crashes it looks like a snow globe of white material and it cannot go back into solution via any means - it will be trash. When I emailed them, they said do not refrigerate it.

Gotcha...I just looked at mine and it looks smooth...interesting

Will going deep IM with this help with the PIP?

Not really.

It’s kinda weird. As soon as you start to push it, it will sting a little. Afterwards it kinda aches, usually until I go to bed, but will be fine next day.

It’s not bad, just unpleasant. Don’t sweat it!

Just did 200mg because I'm sore all over from hitting it hard. Let's see how I feel in the morning.

You're right @Hyde not bad at all

Also, I'm not going to start a new thread for a log. I'm just going to pop in here from time to time to update..

.and I'll add some progress pics along the way. I'll probably throw some bloodwork in here too, towards the end.

Well if 600mg of test a wee and 500mg of eq ( two 15 wee cycles in the last year) did not affect the hair much then is that oftne the case or since this is DHT is there a difference as i know those are hot DHT based. Kind of sucks as i hear test, npp and primo are a good run

So, I tweaked my lower back...im not sure if it's from lifting or taking care of my mom. She's an amputee, so I lift her quite a bit for bathing, transfers, etc...

It seems like it could be a sciatic nerve issue...it is feeling a little better with some stretching, and anvil.

You guys go any other suggestions...I can't really stop my caregiving responsibilities.

Is mom pretty big? Just to ask. I know it sounds funny but maybe wear a spot belt. When i help a buddy around his salvage yard i started doing that. God bless for taking care of mama. Mine has been gone since 2005 and i miss her all hte time. I would do that same thing. I have not tried it but bp or bc 157 is supposed help with healing. Could be an idea.

Thank you brother....yeah, it's been my dad and I taking care of her for about 15 years. She has severe Rheutoid Arthritis, and lost her right leg during a knee replacement, that she ended up getting staph infection.

My dad and I fought the infection for months with IV antibiotics, etc, and he ultimately lost her leg above the knee....then a couple years back she broke the femur in her good leg during a wheel chair transfer.

So, we are scared to have her put much weight on the surgically repaired leg with all the hardware. Her bones are very brittle due to years or corticosteroids (Prednisone).

She's not huge, but the lifting is almost dead weight at awkward angles. A weight belt isn't a bad idea.

We bought a house with an in law attachment...so they are with my wife, me and our two kids all the time. Working together.

CYCLE UPDATE

Currently on:

500 test cypionate/wk
600 primo enanthate/wk
300 L-Carnitine daily
Stanogen 2ml (may drip this later on and let the Primo do its thing)

No AI, and no high E2 symptoms.

Im in week 2. I had to delay for a bit because i got sick. I got my hands on a little more gear, so bumped up the dosages a bit. This is broken up into 3 shots per week (M-W-F) to maintain as stable blood levels as possible, and avoid the androgen surge.

Aiming for 12 weeks, but I'll push it longer if BW is all good.

Eating at maintenence. I'll try to get some before pics in here when I can.

I have damaged discs in my back from improper bracing during heavy lifting for my earlier lifting career. The thing that has saved me, allowed me to come back more than once, is the McGill Big 3. I do them 4-6 days per week, always before lower body work & usually most lifting sessions. Especially the Bird Dogs; those are the absolute most bang for buck exercise/activation/prehab of them all. They are proven to temporarily increase your ability to brace your torso as well as overall provide benefits over most of your day.

You have to fix bad movement patterns that put you in compromised lifting positions for your spine. You have to stay braced at all times so the lumbar can remain neutral, and if you have to rotate the load (moving mom from bed to wheelchair, etc) your core should remain stacked in line while you rotate your entire body with the load to keep it in front of you, not rotating only your core. Think about spinning in a circle in place instead of a golf swing.

If you want a book to read, Back Mechanic on Amazon by Dr. Stuart McGill is absolute gold. Worth every penny of the $40.

Here’s the best video explaining the McGill Big 3. Brian Carroll had broken bones in his lumbar, and still managed to eventually come back with Stu’s methods and squat 1,306lbs for the Multiply world record:

Thanks for that @Hyde ....always a wealth of knowledge and encouragement my brother. I'll pick that book up too.

Also, take a couple short 10 min walks each day. If you put them after a meal it’s also great for blood sugar, but for back health it doesn’t matter when just get walking. Let the arms swing a little to naturally flush blood through the low back passively. McGill is huge on this.

Co-signed on the above exercises. I had my coach prescribe all three of those movements above after my L5/S1 surgery and they made a world of difference - I was knocking on a five plate deadlift within 18 months of the surgery.

Gotcha...I just looked at mine and it looks smooth...interesting

happen to know when you bought that vial? I been wondering if I could try putting them in the fridge again.

you can do shallow IM

the best way to prevent pip with glutathione is to cut it with something else. I usually use vitamin D or carnitine or whatever else I'm injecting. I even snuck 30% glutathione into a subq injection and no pip

It's been in the fridge for atleast a couple months

Speaking of AA...has anyone used then lately? I placed an order a couple days ago and haven't heard anything back...no confirmation email...nothing
