And although I am not a eagles fan I go to tons of games. Can't say I always cheer for them though.

You'd be brittle too if you were getting hit every down because the line blows. In 2010, Michael Vick was the man, arguably the best qb in the nfl that year.

He hasn't been good because the line sucks dick and the eagles weren't running the damn ball because Andy Reid is an idiot.

All foles does is throw 5 yard passes. He's like a clone of kolb.

No. He is brittle because he gets beat on, but last season our starting O Line was arguably one of the best in the NFC, we were plagued by injuries on that starting O Line but too blame it on that is a BS excuse.

McNabb never had the best O Line either and he did much more with that team than Vick ever will (although he was also plagued by injury, especially towards the tail end of his career)

Most of our issues last season stemmed from Vick fumbles/interceptions, injuries (across the board), poor personnel decisions (Nnamdi Asomugha anyone?), and poor play calling (not utilizing one of the most explosive backs in the league)

Vicks days of being susceptible to injury go back to his tenure here in Atlanta..

Are you serious in saying our line was one of the best? You gotta be joking. Vick was one of the most rushed qb in the nfl. And yea what did mcnabb do? Takes the eagles to the playoffs year after year and not win? Who gives a ****. Why do you think noone likes mcnabb? And mcnabb had way better teams than vick, especially from the defense perspective.

Is it me or did it ever bother anyone else that whenever he or the team performed poorly he always just kind of grinned...I never really ever saw him get angry.. Besides the best chance they had winning a super bowl obviously was when T.O was there..

If only he didn't get sick in the huddle after half time.. But the performance T.O. had put on in the SB after having screws put into his ankle...I know Mcnabb and T.O. never really gelled but he showed up that day

But yea your definitely right, they years they lost to the bucs and panthers was ridiculous, and not to mention that game against the cards.

The only year that was a justified loss was against the rams who were very good and the eagles weren't quiet there yet.

It only matters who plays on the line. Yea they lost a lot if players but that doesn't mean you can say the line was good just it had good players hurt. The guys who actually played on the line were horrible.

And yea I forgot that almost winning counts. You can put that on your finger I guess right?

The reason why mcnabb is hated because close isn't good enough. And again, he had way better teams than vick has had by far.

I didn't say the line was the best, I said our STARTING line was one of the best lineups in the NFC. The key word there being STARTING.

Almost winning apparently counts when Vick does it, since you keep bringing up him ALMOST going all the way before LOSING to the Packers.

McNabb was one of the best QBs the eagles have ever had, and I've barely met any true Eagles fans that hate him because he took our team farther than anyone in recent memory, and he did it consistently. With McNabb we were major players every season in the NFC, with Vick we are the equivalent of the Cleveland Browns.

Besides the fact that Vick has one of the most talented skill line ups in the history of our team, and a very strong skill line up compared to the rest of the teams in the NFL. And we had one hell of a lineup as far as defensive skill players as well by picking up people who were considered to be some of the best DBs in the NFL (before showing that he couldn't keep up with the skill players of the NFC east). The glaring weakness in our defense is LBs, but the rest of the lineup is strong.


You're full of BS reasons why McNabb sucked and excuses for Vick but the fact of the matter is that McNabb took us way farther than Vick.
 
Guys, no need to argue. Broncos are the best team in the league and we going to the ship this year (I'm still hurting from last year) and winning.

I was surprised the Colts didn't resign him.

I realize there are worries when a QB has that kind of surgery, but for the caliber of player that Manning has always been it was stupid to think he couldn't come back and do well.

At least Luck isn't half bad, and he has a lot of time to get better.

You guys took Dawkins from us too, and I expected that to work well with Bailey and Dawkins running a DB corps.

Same here. I believe is was the money they would have owed him if they resigned him (32 million or something). Luck is a good QB though and will continue to get better.

Ya our DB line up is great. Champ is getting old and slow though (Ravens game he got burned a lot).

Wilson was the stand out to me last year.

He is, but the DB lineup from the Broncos has always been excellent.

Mcnabb was a choker. Yea I guess it was fun every year to advance to the playoffs and get embarrassed more times than not.

I don't want Foles, and I've said that I don't like him either but I would prefer Foles as the starter because that way he gets the experience as opposed to being thrown into the position because of Vick getting hurt.

Tom Brady doesn't throw farther than 10 and he does very well.

I want a new QB, and we should.have drafted one last year instead of riding on the hope that Vick could be anything besides an overpaid RB.
