Lite PB as in light peanut butter or like Pb2? #bakingnoob

Going to guess not PB2 lol

Are my 3 ingredient cookies too difficult bdcc ?

Ben friendly ingredients

I looked in the supermarket for light peanut butter and couldn't find it. I know we have it somewhere but it seems surprisingly difficult to find.

I didn't fancy making them with normal peanut butter because inevitably I will want to eat the entire batch. ;)

Haha ok.

^yes not PB2

Any nut butter spread, even a protein variety should work

Yup made some last night! Were excellent.

I used regular peanut butter as I am keto in my cut right now, and the "Light PB" I found at the store had 15g carbs versus 5g from what I am using per 2 tbls.

They were really good and when warm, so deliciousness haha.

What do you guys think of the overhead view shot??

Meh. It's straight to the point, but the sideways ones and tilted tubs are def more "artsy"... aka instagram friendly ha.

At the end of the day tho, you could draw me a cookie with crayons and I'd be happy.

Indeed. I'm with Dan -- a great man once said: C is for cookie; that's good enough for me.

You sir are an artist !!

It's nice that IG allows multiple shots per post now so you can hit a few angles, do your foodporn justice

My god brother. That is so much heaven in one photo.

Still need to post it sorry guys. Basement started flooding today, heavy rainfall all weekend here.

Recipe is my standard PB topped brownies but using PBC, and with one XL banana diced up throughout the batter. I'll post it up asap

We feel you hardcore here in Ohio brother. Finally stopped raining after a few long days of moist!

I'll check out that recipe and just make the necessary changes to the ingredients.

I hear ya... mine started flooding yesterday....

Hope your basements are okay, guys. That really sucks.

Thanks man. Thankfully I have a steam cleaner at home. In 2 days I have sucked 260 litres (65 gallons give or take) of water from my basement. Thankfully not much of my gym as been affected. Once dry I will steam clean it all to make sure there is no mold.

What was your recipe?
Oats are a trickier inclusion. Longer to cook and dries it out more

Exactly. Oats are not a very good source for rising agents (pancakes). They are also bad because they dry out the final product due to their density. Pancake Mix, Flour are always going to superior for things along the lines of pancakes, Waffles, muffins, cupcakes and baked goods you want to rise. I would try swapping out the oats, or doing a 50/50 blend of oatmeal to pancake mix/flour to help offset the dryness and also aid the final product in rising.

THE KEY : Make sure you have a proper balance of wet/dry. So if you use say 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1/2 cup pancake mix. Make sure you get a cup worth of wet in there (between eggs, yogurt, apple sauce etc..) to help give you a nice moist consistency.

I definitely will keep at it. Some of the stuff in this thread looks like dessert despite being a great macro meal.

.25 cup of Milk (skim) but ran out so filled rest with water lol.
1 cup of Old Fashioned Oats
1.5 scoops of Whey
~1tspn of baking soda

Just kind of used what I had on hand but definitely need to go shopping today. Anything you recommend I get? Planning on getting egg whites so I don't waste eggs, sugar free syrup, low fat cottage cheese and a few other things as a start.

Not a great recipe, should have used

Just keep letting your love be known!

I was head Athletix rep at the time and then became a PEScience rep and associate,

Those looking to be associates are best off increasing social media following. Those looking to be reps just need to be active on boards we are a part of, help some people out and know the products (or have some supplement science knowledge)

It's not really "applied" for but our reps are always watching and considering candidates for when we do take on more reps

Oh and thank you, I hope you get to try out a recipe or attempt your own

I'm more of a chef than a model

I'd love the opportunity one day and the possibility is always there, I shall keep up working on myself and growing my media outlets

The people running our booths are usually very well known, people come out to expos just to meet them.
Guys like bdcc and the troop of beautiful women on team PEScience are the stars

I bake things and hide behind a camera

Ingredients:
-3/4 cup plain greek yogurt
-1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-1/2 cup gluten free rolled oats
-1/4 cup rice flour
-3/4 scoop Select Peanut Butter Cookie protein
-2 ripe bananas, sliced
-2 large eggs
-1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
-1 cup sweetener (splenda was used, can sub)
-1 tsp baking powder
-1 cup peanut butter

Directions:
-Super simple as long as you have a good blender/vita-mix/other.
-Pre-heat oven to 350
-Everything but 1/2 cup peanut butter and the bananas gets blended together. This will take some time depending on your blender as there are few wet ingredients, may need to shake/scrape sides and re blend a few times.
-Pour half into into a greased 10x10 dish, lay in banana slices, add other half then top with the remaining peanut butter.
-Bake for about 20 minutes, use a toothpick test (if it comes out clean, done, if not send it back in 2-3 mins and retest)
-If you want to, Let it sit out, I prefer it best when a fudge-like consistency so I refrigerated it a couple hours. Also optionally top with mini chocolate chips
-Devour
