Some CJC 1295 users have recently offered advice on this & other forums advocating very high doses (e.g. someone weighing 85 KG's would need between 30 to 60 mcg's per Kg each week). If this is administered 2 or 3 times each week immediately before going to bed for the night that's a lot of a powerful drug to be absorbed overnight.
Medical journals cite many cases of athletes using different kinds of performance enhancing drugs only to develop illnesses.
My advice: take the high doses by all means but take it about 30 or so minutes before the evening meal.
How do I know? Well, I used GRF 1 - 29 & GHRP 6 for many months & followed DAT's advice with no problem. Last year I began using CJC 1295 (400 mcg's * 5 per week) & GHRP 6 (250 mcg's * 5 per week) before retiring for the night. After approx. 2 months of this protocol I experienced 2 episodes of severe chest pains at night. An ECG revealed 'atrial flutter', which, if not treated, can result in a heart attack or stroke. Since then I have dropped the GHRP 6 & administered 400 mcg's of CJC 1295 about 30 minutes before the evening meal. I will mix the GHRP 6 in small doses with CJC 1295 once I have overcome my reluctance to use it again.
Mind you, I am almost 70 yoa, so this warning may not apply to younger users. Still, I believe that more research on the dosage & timing of high doses of CJC 1295 is needed.
