Mainly the early stuff about other companies copying PES older formulas. Even though it was mainly joking, I think it was inappropriate since the reps are taking a beating trying to answer questions.

To be fair, there are some other ingredients in the new Norco - Lemon Balm, Theanine and Aframomum. I like Aframomum as an ingredient so I'm not knocking that. And I don't know if Lemon Balm will have any real effect. L-Theanine I think is a little over rated and I'd be surprised if it was really useful in a fat burner, but I can see it has SOME mood enhancing effects. But Kola Nut has been an ingredient in fat burners that don't work for 30 years. Chormium Picolinate, IMO, isn't even as good as Polynicotinate. And since we're talking about buying bulk - chromium is pretty cheap. Honestly, the only thing in the new Norco that I definitely like is the Aframomum and caffeine. The lemon balm may be interesting.

And of course, maybe something will be shown to prove me wrong? I'm just not seeing it, but I'm not afraid to admit that I don't know everything.

You shouldn't laugh too hard. That fat burner was around since the mid-90's at least when I started lifting as a teenager. I remember it having Kola Nut, Mustard Seed Extract, guarana, and a bunch of other things in it. Even though it had all the extra ingredients, it just flat didn't do jack.

Actually, L-Theanine + Caffieine combined is a great combination for smooth energy without any jitters. Not exactly "exotic" or "novel", but a very good combination. But eh, I'm the only one who may think so.

Actually, a lot of people may agree with you and this is how it is usually billed - but I'm pretty caffeine tolerant (I can take a gram and barely feel it) - and L-Theanine subjectively hasn't ever made me notice much. Maybe I should play with it more....and I may be in a minority.

I'm the opposite. A heavy stim product to me has 300mg caffeine, haha.
 
In other news, Admin over on AM quoted one of my posts about the massive cleanup he's been doing to contain the situation and we have one of the posters stating:

For which I would like to point out that TWO entire pages have vanished from the thread in question. I also know Admin is reading this thread and perhaps he thinks I'm sneakily going on AM, nope, someone has just been updating me on the going ons over there

In related news, reformulating Alphamine doesn't mean another thermo won't replace it under a new name. Maybe they won't, but maybe they wanted to re-focus a core product to something more generic? I dunno. Who knows.

Do you read Deadspin at all? All I can think of reading your CAPS comments now is the same tone I read in my head when reading Drew's funbag.
 
My bad. I was totally just joking around and trying to make levity of the situation when I didn't agree with all the drama. Wasn't trying to ruffle feathers...sincere apologies to both AM and PES if my post was taken for anything beyond that. Was never my intention.

Took my surprise to be honest. I remember being a teenager and looking at Weider products at walmart. The weight gainer, the creatine product.


Those were the days
 
Yeah I was hoping the price would be a little better too. I ordered one to give it a fair shot. We'll see.

Seriously though. I haven't lost faith yet. ABE, EP+ are still available, and I have to believe something serious to replace alphamine and norcodrene will be right around the bend. This just seems like too much of a left turn out of nowhere....
 
Honestly, if PES surprises us and comes back with a new kick ass pre, i'll be the first person to eat crow and apologize for my lack of faith in PES.
