Carpee's back to Recomping A-stack and TNA included

Alrighty.

Today's push session will be in an hour and a half:
main: incline BB 3x6
secondary: military press 3x15-20 (deadly)
secondary: flat db bench 3x15-20

swapped out the dips I tried last week and am going to go ahead and throw in the monster pipes (from A-stack manual) training day 1 tomorrow instead of having an off day. Will bump up calories for tomorrow as well, undecided as to wether it will be all clean or come from a planned cheat. Figure the extra cals will be nice after a grueling arm session.

I am still up in the air about continuing the GST, as I'm just not feeling it. I am looking back into a 4 day push/pull somewhat like I ran before but changed up a little differently. Coming off such low calories in February, I really have been focusing on strength as well as size. I'd like to get my numbers up on the major movements, be able to recomp through the summer, and utilize a massive bulk in the fall. With this stack and the 2700 calories I'm still leaning out slowly, which is verrrry nice.

Kinda just the thoughts running through my head lately...it all changes on the fly!

Fridays press workout:
Main: Incline BB
Secondary: military press
Secondary: flat DB press

Decent workout. Starting to really like incline barbells, as I used to hate them. Worked on my form, which made a world of difference.

Saturday:

Today was already scheduled to be a cheat day. I've decided I'm gonna throw in an arm day every other Saturday. I have a theory that the sporadic direct arm work on top of the GST pulls and pushes I can get a little growth. Just something I'll roll with for a bit.
Todays arm session was awesome. Actually felt like a snag jr. with the supersets and rest periods.
Can't remember the numbers but it went something like this:
A1) close grip bench 1/3's
A2) incline curls

B1) EZ skull crushers
B2) EZ revers curls/last set was cross body hammer curls

C1) v-bar press downs
C2) preacher curls

Was more of an experimental day than anything. Felt super good after though.

I'm getting stoked reading all the Pink logs at USPlabsdirect forums, can't wait to get mine.

Cooking up 2 meals from today.

Running close to a 40/40/20 macro split.

Starting softball tonight, so I'll have my squat training afterwards. 4 reps should be interesting.

Quick run down of last nights squat training:
This was all after playing my first game of softball for the year. Pretty decent session after running.
main: conventional BB squats 3 sets x 4 reps (used 315lb again, but stayed deep)
secondary: front squat 3x8-10 (stuck with 135lb, but had a pause at the bottom)
secondary: narrow stance smith squat 3x8-10 (2 plates, deep)

All movements were sufficient weight, but wanted to concentrate more on sitting into the movement. Sometimes I focus on throwing on too much weight and sacrifice an inch or two on the depth.

Anyway, I've been at 2700-2750 calories on workout days, but since the Pink is here I may move up to 3000, the 250 cal difference will more than likely come from an extra T-Food ****tail and a couple extra grams of Fish oil, and I'll see how I respond.

Right there is pretty much my dream stack but I would round it out like this:
Prime 6/9
Pink Magic 6/9
TNA 6/ed
Anabolic Pump 3/ed

This in my eyes would take people to places unseen in strength and body composition. The only other addition I would consider would be something like Stoked or maybe Post Cycle Support (stronger than Stoked yet $2 more...). This would be as optimized as you can get in my eyes and one day it will happen, you better believe it! Or if you're ballin' out of control and fear no amount of test, throw in PowerFULL for utter insanity purposes.

It takes a lot for me to make a statement like that but let's take stock here and I will let you all draw your own conclusions:

1 - In a caloric deficit
2 - Carb intake 100 grams or less a day
3 - 4 cardio sessions a week
4 - 4 PRs in the first 2 weeks
5 - Accelerated recomp effects and forging of new LBM

Prime is awesome sauce, especially dosed 6/9 or higher but it takes time to kick like a mule. PM was noticed on day 1, shot me too the moon by day 7 and well, you know what happened yesterday. Carpee, don't go into this expecting anything, let it happen naturally and pay attention to what your body tells you. I just kept adding more weight and reps when I would normally be struggling to finish but that is what my body told me to do. Every workout is not going to be ground breaking but I can tell you many of them will be! :smite:

Definitely. I've never been this in tune with my body. I am hopeful and have a positive mindset for Pink but it is a beta test.

Nothing to report yet, but increase in mood. May or may not be from Pink

main: Bent BB rows 3x4
secondary: Lat pulldowns 3x8-10
secondary: seated cable rows 3x8-10

great workout overall. Minus I kept getting stopped by people who wanted to talk...
4 reps was fun on the rows, felt like a monster haha.

Can't wait to get into the 2nd and 3rd weeks of Pink.

Here is my thought on this in the big picture. Even though you are going to kick much ass with this stack here. What do you do for 6 weeks after this? I mean yeah you can go off of stuff all together, let your receptors develop a little more sensitivity.

Another option would be a rolling stack of the ingredients you picked there. Say 6-8 weeks of the PRIME, PM and Anabolic Pump and maybe even PowerFULL. Then do 6-8 weeks of TNA, PowerFULL, and Anabolic Pump. Throw in STOKED! with that and you have a FUGGING PHENOMINAL Test stack where you are not repeating ingredients but setting them up to work synergistically. Theoretically you should be able to continue on with this progression as the androgen receptors would get down time during the PRIME, Pink Magic stack and then the body would have a chance to resensitize to those products as you are on your test boosting stack for 6-8 weeks. Of course this also depends on the MoA of Pink Magic.

Of course Fin you have to also keep in mind I am competetive so I want to be on an anabolic stack as long as possible throughout the year without causing negative side effect. Which explains why I look at it that way.

All your points are noted though you are right to question the MoA of PM... I get this distinct feeling it is somehow hormonal. I have no sides to say it is but I wonder how you can have these gains and recomp without them.

I really needed this workout to get me back on track. The mind/muscle connection was there.

Hopefully next week PM will kick in full gear and I'll start seeing some of the stuff the other dudes are talking about.

I really think that Pink will shine with a routine that has a lot of volume. I can go through a whole HST routine just killing every exercise from start to finish and have more to give. That tends to be only 18 set or so, BUT with HST you are taxing the whole body so that gives you an idea of what I am getting at Carpee.

I loved HST. I've considered running that again, but I really would rather stick with a 4 day routine. I may go back to the push pull style.

I was speaking more from a volume standpoint, there are plenty of routines that are excellent on a 4 day type routine. I prefer 3 day splits or HST, it works with my schedule and body a lot better.

Yea I definitely wanna up the volume. My body responded to HST very well.

So does mine, I am going to go back and re-run it for six weeks here unless I feel absolutely crazy enough to run Kleen's warrior workout schematic. Not sure I am 100% on that yet, may save it for my test filled PCT with Prime!

Siiiick. Pink is kickin' in, I feel it!!

The goal has been recomp, and I still have quite a bit more fat that I will shed, but I've never been this vascular.
Flexing just happens naturally.
 
Good conversation in here. Yeah you can hit me up if you want to run it, but it is a 3 day a week workout. However if you felt like it and were up to it you could do a target specific workout on a 4rth day of what ever body part you want to smash however I promise you wouldn't need it. Not one person that has done this workout has come off of it not being leaner, stronger, and more muscle. If looking for a perfect recomp workout it is right up your alley.
