This week comingis going to be the most intense bc the week after (feb18-24) is a planned off week due to vaca and planned commitments that will keep me from training. ;)

Heading in for the start of 7 weeks straight training before an off week. Doing some chest hyper work followed by 10x10 overhead press and 10x10 tricep dips w body weight. Looking forward to the lighter volume work after slaughtering myself with 10x5,4,3 and 5x5 work the past 5 weeks .. The volume should yield a ridiculous pump and growth

Feeling lean for the first tine this month.. Maybe my body adjusted and is leveling off / shedding water

Monday 2/11

No classes due to snow storm and a long weekend of R n R so i was geared up and ready to attack today. This is my last week before a planned layoff so im leaving it every session and going to draw the week out to Saturday instead of ending Friday (this will I'll only have 8 days of no training instead of 9) lol.

Started with 30 minutes of hiit for 400 calories even.

Did my PT leg circuit (Lower back was killing me all weekend bc I couldn't do it Friday and this really helped today)

Db incline press - 45 lb partials and stretches to warmup
65x9 <PR for reps> 75x6, 85x 4 << o was pissed bc the guy who spotted me really helped wayyyy too much.. Relatively Worthless set and not counting it for a weight pr... So I Did a drop set of 50lb x6 with partials at the end

Machine hi flye- 145x8, 150x 8 (failure)

Wide partial dips for chest stretch- bw x 16 (failure)

Cable crossovers - 35lbx 20, 42.5x10 (failure)

Then it was time for my 10x10 sets! (30 seconds between)

Overhead bb press-
95lbsx10,10,10,10,10,10,7,9,7,6
As u can tell I possibly went a little heavy by 5 pounds or so.. The pump was insane I could barely get in start position arms overhead by 6th set!

Tricep Dips- bodyweightx10 sets of 10 (30 seconds rest) brutal but got them!

Then it was time for calves!

Donkey calf raises
4plates and 25plate on each side x 3 sets of 20

Leg press calf raises
Rest pause 100 reps with 4 plates each side
50,20,10,10,10

Then did incline reverse crunches (2 sets of 12) superset with decline crunches with 10lb plate (2 sets of 12
And
Hanging leg raises 2 sets of 10 superset with
Rope cable crunches 2 sets of 10x 57.5 lbs

I did not finish this workout with HIIT but will finish my back n bi workout tomorrow with hiit bc I don't do the LONG hiit session pre lift on Tuesday's at school.

I'm at somewhat of a plateau. I had KILLER results both cutting fat and gaining muscle for 3 weeks in january .. And have really leveled off since despite various intensity techniques and calorie manipulations. I suspect my fragile cns and endocrine system (past health issues) is really just on overload. I am noticing a patten of 3-4 weeks max of progress before I just start spinning my wheels... It seems like I need a deload or off week every 4th week of training in order to achieve consistent progress and keep my body from going into safety mode! I am willing to live with this-- I mean, ****, who wouldn't want to have to take a break if it mean they looked and felt better?! I love to train, but it shouldn't make u feel or look worse, it should always make u look and feel better!

I love doing them single arm from high to low brining it across my torso... Sometimes I'll do them two arms at once same thing

That's a lot of pressing. Wow, I don't know if I'd have the stamina for something like that anymore...

It was... That's why I skipped post workout hiit- shh don't tell. I knew it would be detrimental to my recovery if I did it tho so I'm doing it today instead - it was grueling and I really attribute it to alphamine and condense for the sheer will to keep going.

****z lol I say if your feeling it and you feel good after wards then only you can tell if it's over load or not. I mean the way your lifting right now kid your Freaking killer it and you own the weights my friend. Your intense.
 
Tuesday 2/12

Wore my AI sports tank in the gym today bc I wanted to show the little boys wearing beaters what muscle looked like. I think they forgot or were confused... Noticed extreme vascularity and definition from shoulders across my upper chest and traps. Great separation today in delta/bis/tris as well so aside from my random stomach water retention, I am leaning out noticeably every where. I would like to point out that my face is also retaining water... Any ideas?!

Workout----

BB deads-30-45 seconds rest
10 sets of 10 @135lbs. Did these with fast tempo and a mean look in my eyes- lifted with music today for the first time. Inwas on a war path. I think I scared some people.

Smith machine one arm rows
65x11 wu- 95x9 <PR reps> 105x6, 110x4 (PR)

V handle pulldowns- 30 seconds rest
10 sets of 10 @ 80lbs

Rear delt raises - 20lb x 12, 12
Superset with
Facepulls- 40x12, 50x 5 drop 40x5, drop 30x 7 (plus partial reps at point of contraction)

Machine shrugs- 190lbs (rack)x 20, 15
Super set with
Plate shrugs (45lb) x 20,15 (insane pump and vasc here)

Bb curls- 10 sets of 10@ 47.5 lbs 30 seconds rest

Db hammer curls- 55x8, 50x4, 35x10, 25x8

Quick db wrist curls but My wrists started to hurt so I stopped.

Finished with 23minutes and 255 cals of hiit on recumbent and a mean sweat even tho i was in a Tank top.

I feel as though the alphamine / VL combo is still working efficiently. I just can't for the life of me figure out this belly and face water/puffiness... I had same effects from using alpha t2... I'm thinking it could be the alphamine but my curiosity and all the reviews ... I had to try it. Things could be a lot worse, so I'll stop whining now.

I love that feeling of intense thermogenesis. Walking around in a t-shirt when it's just icy out feels so good.

It was the best piece of meat I've everhad. Ive only ever had super market or restaurant beef and I only hve red meat like once every month or two.. It was 12$ a pound but worth it.. So tender and lean and ZERO hormones or antibiotics

I interviewed a local butcher and a local organic farm for An article I'm writing and bought all the food and ingredients there today... Some of the most delicious stuff I've ever had (and I grew up with my father owning restaurants and could get whatever I wanted)

We just picked up a chest freezer and hit up a local farm with Grass Fed beef. A fully dressed, butchered, and vacuum sealed quarter beef for $4.25 a pound.
 
That's one of those things that I've had on my to-do list forever and never gotten around to it. Definitely the way to go for beef if you got the space.

A chest freezer works great for dismembered hookers too.

Incorporated lots of drops this workout for added intensity and also bc I fell shirt on my rep goals due to increased weight

Pullovers- FML jacked my wrist up felt like it was dislocating on first rep with 85 pound db so I did one set w a 60lbx12 then did a set of decline bench pullovers- 35lbsx20 and some 1 and 1/2 reps

Single arm underhand pulldowns (weight per handle on dual pulley machine)
27.5x11, 35x8, 50x9, 70x6, 80x4

Single arm straight lat pulls
27.5x 4 (too heavy/ not enough rest)

Standing db curl- 35x8 then I decided to run the rack---- 2 reps each from 17.5 up to 30 and back down (17.5, 25, 27.5, 30, 27.5, 25, 17.5) 14 total reps

I AM SPENT FROM THIS WEEK
Injuries started to add up with my wrist, the scare I had two weeks ago during v handle lat pulls with my shoulder, my knees are very clicky and sore... 6 weeks of solid 5 sessions per week training not missing a single day and actually doing 6 days a week the last 2 weeks...I am READY for this break!

My final VL review remains on the first post. I honestly don't have much to say about the last two weeks with alphamine added in. UNFORTUNATELY I feel as though I have added some BF back AFTER the addition of alphamine. Although I say that loosely as it is most likely water retention.

I KNEW heading into alphamine that I do not respond well to higenamine (after using alpha t2 twice and experiencing extreme bloating). I am not experiencing it to the same level during this run, thankfully, but I know My lack of results is not due to my diet and training- it has to be from the alphamine. If anyone from PES reads this- I am SORRY! I love you guys and every single of of your products... I simply have to conclude I DONT respond well to the higenamine which is the common denominator in a variety of experiments I did to figure out the cause of my water retention which is mostly in belly and face/under chin... I DO LOVE the energy and motivation and mood improvements I have gotten from alphamine, so it will be tough to have to exclude it from my arsenal moving forward. Muscle hardness is up as well- most notably in arms and delts- my two weakest points. I will probably TRY alphamine in the future again to make certain if it is the culprit, but not until after this summer comes and goes lol.

I realize this post is getting gigantic so I'll leave you all with this: THANK YOU AGAIN BPS AND ALSO RICKY (hwd) for sending me vanillean to use and log. I enjoyed posting and interacting with all of you and enjoyed my results! Vanillean has a place on my team of supps moving forward without a doubt! I hope y'all found this useful and / or helpful, or at the very least slightly entertaining!
