Good thing my buddy knows what's going on because I had a crappy day. Had to go back home and replace the water pump on my wife's Jeep before she made a 7 hour trip with my daughter and grandma. After I got that done, I got cleaned up and headed back into town. A mile & 1/2 on the way, my truck blew a spark plug out of the cylinder head. Since my wife hadn't left yet, I had her take me in to the parts house and get a repair kit. Got back and fought that dang repair kit like crazy! Didn't help that it was the very back cylinder that blew. Finally got that fixed, replaced my coil pack and went back home to clean up. Got back to my buddy's house in time to pull the meat off the smoker to get them wrapped in foil before the final leg of smoking.
 
I did not realize how much work smoking meat was until I got a smoker !!
 
Sounds like a stressful afternoon lol at least you have all that meat to shove into your gullet
 
With all that needed to get done, Friday's lifting session got postponed. Was hoping to get it in Saturday night but didn't get done smoking all that meat till 11:30 p.m. Was a little upset about how my buddy was approaching it. His style and my style clash a bit. Lol! It just took too dang long from the way I normally do it and mine always turns out tender as a mother's lovin'! Anyways, I'm getting off track. Sunday after church, I had a lot of cleaning up to do and I was just all kinds of tired so no lifting yesterday either. Packed both sessions in as one today and really tore it up! No PRs today but I'm sure feeling it! Gonna just try posting it up this way.

I really want to start getting more fruit into my diet, I like the idea of smoothies... But most of the time that can be 200cals... Not sure I want to sacrifice that haha
 
All I see is a bottle that is covering the exceptionally well laid tile!

I've had a few of their fruit/vegetable blends. Quite tasty. I'm on a huge cherry kick right meow, have a 2lb bag in my fridge of bing cherries lol

It is rather sweet but it's just from the fruit. No added sugar. I have never tried JJ so couldn't tell ya.

Yeah, I love fruit but I have to watch myself or I'll eat too much and then have to visit the porcelain throne too often. Some have their lack of will power with chocolate, mine is fruits.
 
New PR!!!! Only did squats tonight because after the last lift, I couldn't stand up without almost passing out. Fifteen minutes later still felt rather light-headed and a little nauseous.

Been thinking of changing my training to be more of the power lifter and possibly competing at least once just to give myself something more to aim for.
 
Started on bottle #2 last night. Still liking the 2 mL dose so I will probably stay there for now. I am really surprised at how quickly I am recovering from my lifts and not really having any issues with DOMS!! Even after the heavy squats, the next day was very minor at best on the DOMS. So far, this product is really shining!!

We can add another PR to the list. Last week I tried for 335 on bench and was only able to get down to parallel. This week, I hammered 340!! It was rather sketchy and there was a fleeting moment that I thought I might not get it but then it started going again and continued till lock out! There rest of the session was anticlimactic. Mainly just focused on getting higher reps with lighter weight.

I have been heading down this road. I have already been hitting PRs and must say I am am loving my new routine (finally settled). I basically do high frequency strength work along with some circuit/pump work after. Great results thus far.
 
Took my daughter in for gymnastics tonight and forgot my notebook so didn't get my lifts recorded. Did a lot of shoulder work to build up some boulders.
 
Tweaked my lower neck/ upper back tonight. Might have to visit the chiropractor tomorrow unless I can get it to pop back later tonight. We'll see. Tried pushing harder tonight because I was on the road most of the day today and didn't exert a lot of energy at work.

Since my DBs only go up to 60 lbs and one 70 lb, I have to improvise to be able to go heavier. This is my solution: a short chain attached to a clip and then the strap handle to that.

My buddy and I don't lift together anymore because of conflicting schedules but we still let each other know how we're doing on lifts. He sent me a text yesterday and said that he had gotten 370× 2 on bench. I told him it wasn't really that much weight on the Smith machine. Lol! He didn't see the humor in that as much as I did. He was a little slow to text back that it wasn't on the stupid smith. Dude isn't quite to 200 lbs in weight (190-195?) but is still a bench freak.
 
Got my neck to pop with a little persuasion but muscles in that area are still rather sore. Almost feels like it might still be out in another location right there. Today's a rest day (well from the weights anyways) so I'll continue to work it and see if I can get it back in place.

I find rolling my next on a lacrosse or tennis ball really helps loosen the neck... Also take ibuprofen and move it around little by little while inflammation is down... normally bounce back after 1-2days :)
