Morning AM, powerful workout today after 4 days off, good food, and tons of R & R.

Lots of increases on weights this morning for the start of week 5
enjoyed the vids. Looks damn cold! if you fall down can you get up off the floor? LOL

Lifts looking solid, and impressive!

One comment though I think if you control the weight more at the bottom of the bench instead of doing the slight drop from an inch or so above it then springing out of the bottom you will find you have more control and less of that slowdown just off of your chest where the recoil out of the bottom ends. You will also likely feel it more in your chest and less in your triceps, and tendons / ligaments. Plus it will lower your chance for injury. Not saying you did them wrong by any means, but I think you would benefit more staying tight, and under control there in the bottom.

Morning AM, BOSSMAN up and at it for a back to back 5 x 5 session this morning and pushed right on through it with increased weight on workout B.

I will do a comparison on workout B increases here shortly .

I have another 4 day weekend that starts today. My son has a new years bball tournament that started out with a W yesterday and I will be able to be with him today. My daughter will be with me today also.

Afterwards I think I have to grocery shop and hope to spend the evening at the marina this evening.

So again, im very pleased with what's going in here.
 
Those presses looked smoother and more under control to me. Impressive work with pressing the 205 on incline and flat bench. Do you feel stronger in one or the other? If not, you might find you are more of a shoulder, and triceps dominant presser. At least that is what I have read, having an incline the same or close to your flat bench implies that anyway. Then again you got some big ol chesticles from what I remember seeing of that shot you were up on the roof a little while back, sio it isn't hurting your ability to grow. My incline is pretty close to my flat as well.

You know I really am having a hard time answering the question about flat/incline dominance. At the moment I am just feeling strong with every lift I'm doing. I credit it to the structured program, logging for comparison, eating, and actually being able to rest.

One thing I forgot to mention, I always video on my last set of 5. So the videos you guys are seeing are actually reps 20-25.

I'm so pumped with the weights I'm moving.

I got 6 comments today at my sons bball tournament from some old heads i used to run with about how dam big I'm getting. That really makes me feel good.

I do kind of wish that I would have started the program with heavier weight on my lifts but honestly I didn't really know were I was and still trying to avoid injury.

I may be stuck with these weights for a few weeks or just really small increases. Can't forget its 25 reps.

It is kind of crazy my bench/incline is more or close to the same as deads and squats.

Probably hit accessories tomorrow or rest.

Yall keep pumping qoth me info and suggestions and I'm all ears. Constructive criticism doesn't bother me one bit.

Yes sir, basic 5 x 5 minimum 3 days a week along with accessories whenever. No cardio, lots of food, and rest. 600 mgs of stano pwo only on 5 x 5 days, 25-50 mgs Karbolyn only on 5 x 5 days, and 500 mgs of epicatechin on 5 x 5 days.

Take in consideration I may have started off a little light on week one and that was just not really knowing my strength and avoiding injuries.

As of right now I'm really enjoying it, its structured, and I'm getting results. Going to give it a 12 week run.

Great session and I bet it was nice to rock the 225x5 x5, something about getting the multiple wheels on the bar for any movement.

I need to purchase some more 45lb plates. Just two more, im having to stack tons of plates on each side to get what I need.

No training this morning AM, had a late night with my sin and bball last night.

Slept through 3am alarm and when 430am went off I was pissed. Now that the holidays are over, the sweets are tossed in the garbage, and all the gatherings with tons of food are slowing down I need to speed back up. I missed a session last week and if I don't buckle down from tomorrow through Sunday I may miss another.

No matter what happens from now through Sunday starting Monday its back 100%.

I did fairly well through xmas but new years break i fell off pretty good.

Yeah, I think the weekend of New years was actually worse on my diet than Christmas itself. I have impressed myself not touching the new cookies, or any of the candy from my stocking for the last 3 days. Nice and welcome change in mindset.

Morning AM, had some weird old man **** happen to me last night. Relaxing, unwinding, getting comfy in the bed, roll over to give wife a kiss goodnight and BAM!!!!

No, I didn't get a boner and have 4 hour sex. I must have rolled on my outer part of my shoulder and screwed something up. I felt it instantly. Got about 3 hours sleep due to the discomfort. So between that and lack of sleep, 3am training was a no go.

I have full range of motion as of now, the discomfort is down to a level 2 and honestly haven't thought about it until making this post.

I should be good by tomorrow for a session. Have mulch tomorrow also.

I just turned 42 last month so I guess it's that time

I turned 40 in oct and last night almost texted my dad to ask what prostate supps he takes cause I've been pissing in the middle of the night lately. However, I've also been drinking more water, gatorade, tea etc since my wife and i are taking booze of the plate for a while so it's likely just that but I'm already thinking like I'm an old fart lol fighting it every day. although in many ways my wife would tell you I'm probably 16.

Yeah ill be fine, it was basically I put all my BEEFY weight on my arm and shoulder and rolled. No biggie, just enough to ruin a workout

I got pulled into HR last week in reference to the amount of material I purchase from my day job for my lawncare company at employee pricing.

I'm honest about everything, they had all invoices showing paid. Ive been doing this for over 7 years. Didnt think much of it at first, but then of course the worry and anxiety kicked in bad.

I've been on day job for 11 years, union engineer.

Came into work yesterday morning 5am, terminated. No warning, no you can't do this anymore, fraudulent use of employee discount.

Didn't put up a fight, dont have the energy. Ive been through 100x worse situations in my life and when I just shook there hands and walked out it fukkd them up so bad. They wanted me to beg for my job. Not happening.

New engineer on first day yesterday already had an 1800$ mistake 🙃. They better get used to it.

I am fortunate to have things to fall back on. I may be acting like this isn't a big deal but it is, just not going to dwell on it. My family is covered until 5/31 and my polish starts a government job on the 30th of this month so insurance is not an issue. My pension and 401k are safe through the union hall. I have an established lawncare company for the last 7 years and already have two really good job offers waiting for me.

I'm taking it one day at a time, waiting today for it to warm up a bit to go do shrubs and tree work.

These types of things I look as a blessing in disguise. I have such a support group around me you have no idea.

So I will stop here with all this bs and move in to some food porn

My Polish princess did this for me just to keep me happy through this crap.

I honestly feel perfectly fine. I'm proud of myself for handling them they way I did, im happy i have my **** together for a situation like this, and so lucky to have the family and friends I have.

So hopefully yalls eyes and head aren't hurting after this novel but for yall thats followed me you should know by now I got some big ass Shoulders and can dam near handle anything life throws at me.

Just did accessories this morning just to get back in the groove. All that wood I split yesterday was a beast ass workout but thats therapy for me. I'm gonna pick up on week 6 tomorrow 5 x 5 and act like I never missed a workout 💪

I have noticed over the years if the Good Lord shuts a door he will open another one.
I'm surprised that they let you do that in the first place. 7 years later they want to fire you over it? it should of been: new company policy, you can no longer do that.
You and I know they will regret the decision.
With your skill set, you should have company's knocking down your doors to offer you a job!
