People don't realize how devastating it is and how much it can derail our progress

When I was in Pitt over the weekend I had a family member have a stroke -- Why? Stress
I had a client pop a rib out of place -- because she was so stressed from her work environment
I've had 3 girls I work with divorce their husband because he was always the stressor -- Instantly they have never felt better in their life.
I've seen clients tell me maybe this is the way I should live my life -- I told them they are full of ****

The human body is not meant to be a ball of stress, this is why people backpedal instead of taking steps forward (not saying you are going down a dark hole), but it is clear that when we stress our bodies don't work as intended.

Get that stress down big dog! Let's see you keep rolling along.

Morning AM, off day as of this morning. Had a nice evening of relaxing. Got home around 4pm, had dinner around 530, and that was about it. Was laying around in the bed at 730pm. Fell asleep at 9am and slept through to 3am alarm and decided to get another 90 minutes of sleep.

As of now not feeling any signs of anxiety, gonna take it slow with the coffee and go tackle this 12 degree morning. Dam its cold this morning.

I may get in a lil sumn sumn this evening depending on what time i get off.

Let's have a safe and productive day. Stand true to your beliefs, hard work pays off. It can be done!!!!!!! 🇺🇸
 
Got in some therapy and fresh air this evening. Just needed some me time at the water. Nice and cold, no stress.

I will note that my dam legs are still smoked from Monday.

Found it funny last night while down at the campsite people are always so dam nosey. We have one of the nicer spots, but its cause we work on our sh1t all the time. So they are always wanting to snoop around.

Folks watching me last night splitting that wood up by hand were just amazed out how easy i made it look. Well I've been doing it my whole life as I've shared pics with yall previously in the thread.

Really makes you stop and be thankful for my grandfathers, my father, and my older brother for being a part of this type of lifestyle and steadily handing it down through the generations.

Obviously not just splitting wood 🤠, I look around at the generations under me, hell my own dam generation and I just scratch my head and wonder what the hell is this world gonna come too when my kids are my age??? I see guys with no life survival common sense skills at all.

Why? Someone never taught them or they chose not to learn. Oh well, my folks did their part and I'm doing the best I can for my family. This conversation could go on on, but I will stop it here.

You should definitely be proud of your work ethic, and that you manage to play as hard or almost as hard as you work. Coming in to your log is like a lesson in excuse destruction. You really can't come into your log and leave feeling like any of the "reasons" you give yourself for not getting things done are legitimate.

Just so you know in that regard this "old man" looks up to you and the example you set.

Real talk brother, thank you!!!!! Thats why these logs are so important. We learn from each other, we bitch at each other, and respect each other at the end of the day!!!

Some may browse through a log and move on. When you guys elaborate and appreciate what you see, it makes me want to keep it going and do more!!!!

Nice workout this morning, wanted to stay away from any nagging of the right trap from yesterday. This workout really had my heart rate up ( which I love ). I'm a firm believer in stamina and good wind. You know some people may have never been in an altercation that has lasted longer than 30-60 seconds in their life. Usually there is a knockout or someone to break it up. Ever really get in a good battle for 3-5 minutes or even longer? Well I've been there and its not pretty. Thats why I'm a big fan of stamina and for a pretty thick dude I can move above average. Hoping I never get in a situation like that ever again in my life, but if so.....I feel prepared.

Note....this workout was done with a sauna vest and a complete sauna suit under workout clothes......yeah buddy I was soaked. Had to strip down in the garage and leave my clothes in the garage.

So let's all have a productive day and stay safe.

Always remember, when your in top there will always be someone trying to bring you down!!!!

That workout in a sauna suit must've been a killer! But nothing like a good sweat honestly. Probably one of the only real reasons I tolerate running.

If you wear a sauna suit on dry skin besides underwear, it will heat you up!!!!

I have really nice sleeveless zip up sauna jacket I wear every workout. Put that on, then the sauna jacket and pants along with Sweatpants and sweatshirt over top and stocking cap with hood over stocking cap. You get soaked. You actually half cups of water recapped at the wrist and ankles when you undress.

Pretty hungry this morning

Had a back workout planned for this morning with pull exercises. From the start things were off. Got drinks ready and got dressed. Got in the garage and got things started and had to immediately stop for a nature call.

Regrouped and notice I must have sprained my right wrist. Could be from a number of things, farmers walk. Heavier sets on bench, or even heavy bag.

Anyways pretty tender so decided to stay off of it. Even my ground exercises that should have been in a pushup stance I had to go down to elbow like a Plank position.

Shoulder is fine but will baby the wrist as I need to be able to work.

Besides all that I have a jammed packed weekend of work and hope to get some pleasure time in Sunday.

I'll be fine, its not the whole wrist. Just the outside on the pinky side. It only acts up in certain movements, but when it gets aggravated it will stop you in your tracks.

Example, just reaching to my right and grabbing my cell phone....aint happening!!!! Weird huh? I'm gonna keep moving and let it rest as much as possible. Might even tape it for support.

Hope the lawncare guys are healthy this weekend cause I might be bossing from the front seat of the new rig all weekend 🤠

Sore wrist is a tuff one, it's hard to grip a bar and do anything!
 
Hate to hear about the wrist acting up, might try some good wrist and forearm stretches. See if you can create a little more room in there. ICE THAT BAD BOY!!!
 
Doing good with the wrist fellas. Have great weather today and dammed if the flood gates aren't open.

I've been wide open all day, loaded around 3k ton so far and dont see it slowing down anytime soon.

Still tried to stay away from the wrist. Wrist has been holding up great, I went bowling and have been doing my lawncare with no issues. I think I jammed it on heavy bag. Got through today with legs, pull exercises, and some HIIT. Will just play it day to day.

I 100% agree with happy wife happy life! She has always wanted a mustang. she had a 72 fastback before I know her. I'm afraid she would kill herself the way she drives!

She has drove it twice since bringing it home last Saturday. In the garage, still pushing the 04 Corolla sport 🤠
