No no no, I'm gaining right now!!!! Trying to see how far I can push these macros while keeping BG levels suffice. Revamping metabolism after 3 years of crazy insane sh1t....hahhaaa. it worked though hgp....100lbs in 3 years
But for real, pushing the limits here. April is when lawncare starts for me, so I beleive that to be a good time to draw the line on increases and unfold some of my lean gains. I haven't done any real cardio since November, maybe 2 or 3 sessions in which I got lit up for. So I stopped. Man when I start lawncare and cardio...sh1t is gonna start happnin!!!!

I have a condo in Myrtle Beach now, looking to buy another one towards the end of next month. 1 block off the ocean.

I used to do things a lil extreme I guess, 24 hour fast, 500 cals a day, 2 hours cardio a day with hitt training, 16 17 18 hours labor. All this 7 days a week, did I mention supps??? OH BOY!!! but I lost 100lbs

Tip of the day, don't workout with fresh ink!!! Ran into my home last night from back in the day. Trained this morning, wasn't to bad except the overhead extensions. Almost forget, cause I usually set the db on my right shoulder before I posit my hands.

I would if those carrots were raw... Might not be too bad rare, but i do not like cooked carrots. Never had them only done slightly though.

I'm the opposite, can't do them raw. Just got a call from one of my wealthier clients. He is looking to move and wants to sell his gym equipment. I'm going friday at 2pm. I pray he has free weights, racks, bars.....etc. if you guys saw what have available in my garage for equipment you probably wouldn't believe it. My wife has given me the green light to splurge on new equipment, I can get it done for about a grand. That would br everything, including mirrors and flooring. I just can't do it, got big moves coming up down south very shortly. I would rather get her and all the kids things, idk. Maybe this guy on friday has at least something. I need more weight. Again, thanks.

Honestly it just goes away with fat loss but serratus dips and full extension dips can help fill out and tighten up the area. Pull overs too but done more for rib expansion and chest. Mine are actually worse than that so don't feel bad. Mine was actually why I started lifting in the first place. Trust me though I get where you are coming. It gets in my head too.

This morning chest workout was legit, I did things a lil different. On a 2 muscle group day, I usually do say a chest exercise then a bicep exercise followed bye a 30-45 sec rest then repeat for 3 sets. Today I did all chest exercises first, 3 sets each exercise. Worked all around the chest, top, middle, bottom, flys, and hex. By the time I got to hex all I could manage with good solid form was 40lb db. I almost said to hell with biceps , I will do them this evening or another day. Was able to get a quick smash and burn on the biceps. I guess until j get more weight and equipment I'm going to have to stay creative. Anyways, this morning was a great workout.

I'm thinking this lean gain followed with a nice cut might be the ticket.....IF.....I can keep my gains. All new to me, I was always in the "I gotta lose, I gotta lose mind frame (weight that is).

Definitely the fat is worse, give it 6 months after getting lean and you will have a good idea of how much more the skin will tighten. You get a good bit of tightening up that first 6 months. After that it slows down a bit but can still keep shrinking for up to about 2 years. GH tends to help so the fasting is probably going to help as well.

Keto is not the magic, its an easy way to lose water weight, but most people negate carbs which are very beneficial for MPS (Muscle Protein Synhteis), keeping energy levels high, and also help regulate t3, leptin, and hormone levels. While there is no 1 size fits all many people negate them and think oh ill just drop them and it will help me lose fat/weight faster. Not always the case. the caloric deficit is what is key

When Kevin does diet carbs will stay as high as possible while still losing weight which will keep his metabolism high and allow for versatility when he does stall. Its about dieting smarter not harder

At over 50, my insulin sensitivity and metabolism is fugged up. Keto was the best call for me. For you younglings , everything works, as long you have a bit of a caloric deficit.

Edit: Of course you are right, felt more energetic and stronger with carbs -believe me, at a certain age, losing fat is a different game, if you want to hold onto hard earned muscles.

This is another reason why Kevin is having so much success.
I am very blunt with how I approach his diet and training, a lot of the times he recognizes the red flags he has been doing for so long, and once he makes the necessary changes time does its part. We all go through these phases of periods where we learn the hard way. Once the lightbulb goes off and you see there is a better and easier way to get stuff done it really makes you think.. Why did I waste so much time doing X Y and Z because I thought it would work.

Amazing how the human body is, and what we learn during our time under the iron.
 
HGP we are alike in alot of ways, pumping iron and dedication is NOT a area we lack in. You my friend have more knowledge than I.
