I add them into the fry for approximately 2 minutes at the very end. It adds moisture and flavor, without making the tomatoes soggy. Cherry or San Marzano tomatoes have the most flavor.

I read somewhere to marinate steak in 1/2 cup of red wine and 1/2 cup of olive oil for 24 hourse before cooking.
Aparently it replaces the 'bad fats' with 'good fats'.
Haven't tried it personally, but if I did I'd add garlic.
