Well my friend has booked the appointment and is scheduled to go in on July 12th for an enhancement from a 34 A to a 34 D!
I hope she is making the right decision.

When I went through this with my lady, we interviewed 7 different doctors, looked at thousands of pictures, read hundreads of referals and finally found the guy we wanted. She went form a small A to a double D and loves them. Over the muscle is the way to go in my opinion, especially if she is an athlete.

implantinfo.com is an AWESOME site! please have her check it out.

I've always read that over the muscle is an easier procedure but doesn't look at good; i.e. it tends to look "balloonish."

IIRC a major fitness competitor had an article on bodybuilding.com about breast implants and recommended between the muscle (rather than under or over).

When you go under the muscle they actually cut into the Pec tissue and the athlete will loose a lot of strength.

Over the mucle does look more balloonish but I love that look :)

Yeah -for fake ones over the muscle does look nicer, IMO. I hate when they get those 'stretch lines' on the side though..I guess it depends on the quality of the job.

This is the picture we took to the doc and asked if it could be done on my girl. I think he did better actualy.

BBB = bigger boobs are better :D

but then again, there's also too big. if you're anywhere in between the B to DD range, you're good to go IMO. i agree with the ass comment also.

Sometimes I wonder if we weren't separated at birth...

Yikes, that's a big change. Unless her current breasts are woefully disproportionate to her torso, then a C cup is probably as big as she should go IMO.

I ahve always liked small boobs. perky helps. really though id be happy with most tits. im not to picky as long as she is pretty and isnt superficial like crazy its all good.

well - to keep you all updated, she had the surgery today, so her new D cups are in.
It will be interesting to see how things change in her life now.

Are you sure about that, bro? Going from an A to a Double D sounds pretty extreme. I've heard of going from an A to B or even C but double D is pretty unbelieveable since she may not have had enough skin to cover double D's.

I love boobs like any man; real or fake. But I cannot watch a surgeon perform a boob job. All that blood gross me out.

She may be in for more attention than she planned on...or at least the wrong type of attention...that is if she is in to going out to clubs and things of the sort...then again, some chicks dig that kind of attention. I bet everybody recognizes this prime example Invalid Link Removed Hope you don't mind JMH.

Anyway, hope is she is feeling well. I know a few girls that have had various things done and they were sore as hell for a while.

karategirl, I'm interested to see how things in her life change, how her life outlook changes, ect. Please keep us updated :)

Well Im way late on this thread but...

I agree that large ones can be attractive in a novel way however not at the expense of overall fitness. When it comes to changeable body aspects, a lean fit build is #1 for me. Not to mention that implants may look ok under clothes but then they come off it's like "omg what happened?"

As far as implants go, Im disappointed that they have become so common and acceptable. IMO when a female gets implants for personal reasons it tells me that they are more concerned about short term vanity than long term health and well being. It says a lot about their mentality.

Leave the implants to the porn stars, rippers, and mastectomy patients...

As long as they fit the rest of the body, then all is good.

Big ol' jugs on a tooth-pick frame just doesn't look right.

huh:blink: i want implants when my boobs get saggy.... and it has nothing to do with my "mentality" or "short term vanity". how does the fact that i dont want saggy nasty old lady tits, conflict with my health and well being?

I'm with jmh on this one. I love big breasts. I was with a girl about a month and a half ago and she had double d's. I never had so much fun playing with breasts than I did with her. Very nice.

fake tits are nice to look at.. but they feel fvckin' weird... not natural... some feel almost like muscle.. .which is a major turn off... you want that sh1t soft.. and supple... naturals are way better... a nice looking handful is all I need.. and my wife's are frickin' perfect... thank the gods.

Are you saying that implants have nothing to do with vanity or self esteem?

Surgeries have inherent risks (infections, anesthetic complications, etc). Breast implants have their own risks as well (hematoma, necrosis, etc). Therefore getting a boob job puts your health (arguably your life) at risk. Since saggy breasts are not a health concern, getting a boob job really is unecessary surgery; it is done to 'look' better. All Im saying is that looking better at the possible expense of your health is not something that should be taken lightly.

Given your age and judging by your photo, saggy breasts are not something that you will have to worry about for quite some time (that is a compliment btw). By the time you have to worry about it, your outlook might be different.

My overall favorite are the firm fit ones. The range I like are 34-36 full B or C. IMO, any bigger is just too much. Although, there are some things you can do with the larger ones (TF), but that gets a little old after a while.

No, the term "short term" vanity was used as if it was a thoughtless, on a whim decision based off of desparate insecurity.

take a look at those, and take a close look at the older ladies. tell me you wouldn't want to do something about that. its more than just an "on the whim vanity" issue.

Girls can't use a bench press to firm up their tits. They look like disgusting popped blisters after a certain age for many women.

You should be more concerned about the average person trying to chew gum and walk. The instances of health disasters as a result of breast augmentation are slim to none.

Lifting weights has inherent dangers. You can drop the barbell on yoru face and smash your brains in.

Too much muscle can also increase your hearts workload shortening your life potential if you want to get really technical. Not to mention the heart attack risk associated with lifting heavy weights and the rapid spike in blood prssure caused by the extreme exertion..I mean, oh my goodness. now that i think about it, i better run away from teh gym as fast as i possibly can before i do. i'm such a fool for being there in the first place putting myself in danger all for a little extra muscle!

If you're ASSuming that someone takes their health lightly because they get a breat augmentation your extremely presumptious.

Very true, she does look good, doesn't she? :D

This is really not a huge public health risk, and I just don't understand why its made such a big issue of. Nothing wrong with wanting to look and feel young for as long as possible.

You're such a sweet-talker Kwyck :stick: . Seriously though man, it sounds like you have just stamped every woman out there with an expiry date.

Slim - yes. None - hardly.

Apples to oranges. Physical exercise also has physiological health benefits - implants have none.

Someone who goes ahead with the procedure has, by default, deemed it more important than the associated risks. Having had health issues in the past, it is the most important thing to me. So to me they are taking their health lightly...

No it's not a huge public health risk and there is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best. I'm sure that many of us here have been called obsessive by friends or family for our drive for fitness. However given the heat in your reply it sounds you like you are concerned about boob jobs one way or another.

KG asked for opinions and I gave her mine. Like I said, I'm disappointed that young beautiful women feel the need to have their chest done to fit in with today's emerging Stepford society. What's attractive to me is a woman that looks after herself and who has the mindset not to take pop culture so seriously.

I can understand your disappointment that society has put such a pressure on people that they feel the need or desire to change themselves in this way. But that is the world we live in today, and I see nothing wrong with people who wish to modify their looks.

You are somewhat right that females that get implants for personal reasons are concerned with vanity (short and long term), and find it an acceptable "health risk". But is this really so bad? Is it so wrong to want to look your best? Let me flip this around:

How many people on this board risk their long-term health just for vanity? I'm willing to bet the majority do, whether they agree to it or not. Anabolic steriods, pro-hormones, and even the latest "natural herbs" with little long-term scientific proof of their safety are all widely used with the main intention of vanity over health. I am not a hypocrite (I'm also not saying you are). I use sports supplements - and the primary goal is not always health.

I'm sure many non-working out people think I have mental issues. :) I would rather drink a protien shake than have a coffee or beer. "Protien shakes cause kidney problems - why can't you just accept your body for what it is? Why are you so insecure? etc"

If appearance is not important, why is it more socially acceptable for people to spend a ton of money on "designer clothes" that were made by destorying lives in sweatshops? Everyone should just wear hand-me-downs. Tattoos are vain and serve no health purpose - same as piercings. Tanning can be dangerous to your health. Certain hair products are not without their long-term risks, and yet many people still do all these things.

I'm not saying that it's a good state of society that breast implants are an accepted norm. But I am saying that I'm not going to judge people that have had them done, just as I don't want them to judge me for the "choices" that I have made. Everyone has different priorities in life, and it's up to each person individually how they weigh them against each other, not me.

Sunder, well said and you are 100% correct. To be honest, I was primarily interested in presenting a counter argument to all the yay-sayers and inject a bit of criticism to the discussion. Maybe Im just in the minority thinking that its ok to be the black sheep.

Yes there are many parallels between having breast augmentation surgery and other ways to improve ones appearance. That said, one thing you did not touch upon is that lines are frequently drawn within a school of thought. The right to bear arms permits people to obtain small antipersonnel firearms but not rocket launchers or an M1-A1. Alcohol and tobacco are legal yet marijuana and opiates are not. So just because something has consistencies with current accepted principles doesn't necessarily mean it should also get the same treatment.

While Im at it I really should give women credit for the situation that they are in. Compared to men, they usually get a raw deal with the greater emphasis and pressures placed on their appearance. When implants were new, women arguably got them in order to stand out. Now with implants becoming so common, many probably feel they need them just to fit in. Something that is not so easily dismissed.

i had to comment on this...i dont care at all how big the boobs are, i just like them to look at least decent. im not into saggy droopy ones. i cant stand fake ones. im just not a fan. ive dated a girl with an A cup and i thought she was the prettiest thing i had ever seen. ive been with a girl with DD as well, and they sort of pissed me off after a while. ive noticed girls with smaller breasts actually have higher sensitivity to the touch. B-C is my favorite. as many have said before, im all about the posterior
.

Breast implants is a purely cosmetic procedure just like posterior implants, pectoral/calf implants, synthol injections (if its safe which I don't know). If it makes the person feel better, then its alright I suppose.

I like a large b/small c, a really nice perky handful.. great boobs are everything to me, absolutely everything. I also like thinner girls, I'm more into the natalie portman figure than the carmen electra deal. that crazy from wedding crashers had amazing ones, thats probably the perfect size for me.

an x of mine got breast implants half way into our 3 year relationship... went from a b to a c, at first i gotta be honest it was sweet.... but after awhile idk just seemed to fake, kinda missed the old ones. BUT after she did look alot hotter when she had clothes on especially the right clothes... but when they were off eh to fake, and stiff, ya know... what i always tell girls now when they bring this up is dont bother, im attracted to plenty of women with small boobs, as long as there fit n slim and nice face, i would def not look the other way.. my 2 cents for what its worth

Don't put plastic fun bags into yourself. That's the female equivolent of being greg valentino.
