BIGGER, FASTER, STRONGER: Snag's Recipe for a [NATURAL] Recomp, Competition Style!

Yes to both.. I don't really pay too much attention to sodium until the final week; use salt in fairly liberal amounts thruout prep, but the last week I kick it up the first 4 days and start cutting it last 2.

I may want to know details should I ever what to go back on stage. This is a weak spot for me. :31:

Day #50 Lower Body (Low Volume/Heavy Load)

Basically same as day #43, except I was able to raise the weights on each set, kept rest periods the same tho. Still gaining strength despite reduced caloric intake..
Carb-up meal last night might've played a part; mmmm, it was good:
1.5 cups oats
8oz sweet potato
2 cups broccoli
1 large banana

As well, the new Prime dosage I am using is off the chain, really digging it!

5min light stair runs
BB ATG squats ss w/ DB RDL (6x4)
Leg extension ss w/ leg curl (5x5)
BB standing calf raise ss w/ DB single-leg calf raise (5x6)
1-1-3 tempo for training, 90sec rests.

Altho strength was superb, my focus was a bit scattered this session. Really the first time in this run I have experienced this. Had some things on my mind..

What dosing scheme is that ?

That info could be of PRIME interest to me as well!!

OOO you got me on the edge of my seat

Haha.. got you guys in suspense huh? Wellll...
It's not like super secret or anything, just a general increase in usage. One thing I have been experimenting with tho is dosing addtl on an empty stomach prior to workout.. I've always believed you had to take this with food (and it is a good idea, since there are nutrient repartitioning benefits with Prime), but I am noting some benefits to dosing prior to training as well..

All right, since the wife is sleeping still I'll get a little update in. (I already promised her I'm all hers today -- so after my workout, no computer, no work, no nothing but her.. :smlove2:)

Anyway, much like the change in the weather again (40 degrees & sunny here all day yesterday; woke up to cold weather and about an inch of snow covering things this morning -- typical Indiana..), so too is there another change for the Snag Storm. :biglaugh:
Quite a few things came together at once to just smash my schedule, and I need to focus on these issues. So, the whole keto-getting-dialed-in-to-look-show-ready has gone by the wayside. I thought about just moving the deadline up 1 week to next Friday, since I have an Indianapolis trip scheduled Saturday.. instead, I'll combine the two approaches. So I'm dropping into my higher-carb/low-fat diet today (getting back to regular AP usage of course). Gone is the L-carnitine/BCAA 1/2hr prior to meals strategy; Forslean; everything else stays prety much on course. My focus will now be to just continue to make progress leaning out, drying out, and moving forward. No need to have undue pressure on myself with no show set yet. Besides, this is a whole lot smarter approach to dialing things in right and not having to hurry things along.
Today I move back into my 3-day split; so, day #51 is shoulders/traps/arms/abs, higher reps, 45-60sec rests..

Isn't that sweet, what a lucky Mrs. Sausage.

I've promised my girlfriend dinner, then 90 seconds of loving. She can partition that however she wants.

I just cooked my Fiancee and I a simple but delicious dinner:

2 12oz New York Strip steaks, trimmed of visible fat
2 Portabello Mushrooms
1 Spanish Onion
10 stalks asparagus
2 Cobs of Taber Sweet Corn [famous Canadian corn]
Uno's Olive Oil
Grill House Seasonings [delicious, and under 100mg per 1/2 tsp]
2 panes of cherry wood

Pound the steaks out, and rub thoroughly with seasoning so the kernels of seasoning take to the grains of the steak. Rub with olive oil, sprinkle a tad of seasoning. Repeat on the corn.

Heat the grill to high-medium-high, depending on the grill [though you'll need it high for the corn], and place the cherry wood [uncured, obviously] on the right side of the grill. Place the corn, in husk, on the opposite side [indirect heat] - repeat for steak. You want to cook the corn prior to the steak, so you can place the corn on the simmering rack to absorb the smoke of the grill. This takes time and patience due to the indirect heat, but worth it!

As the steaks and corn are nearing completion, spray pan with non-stick butter flavored Pam, and sautee cut mushroom and onion together until mushroom is tender, and onion is semi-transparent. Add the asparagus to the direct heat of the grill for 1-2 minutes a side, and serve with steak and corn.

Boom! Moderate fat [almost all beneficial], high in minerals and vitamins from the veg, low carb count [only the corn, really], and tasty as hell!

Damn that sounds luscious.

And I myself didn't have a cheat all day long.. I even made the wife breakfast (ham & cheese omelette) and had no issues.. watched her eat chocolate all day long..
No problems up until 11pm when we're sitting there watching 'Sleepless in Seattle' and I busted out 4 eggrolls and some cashews, wth..
I'm really itching to up the cals a bit and get some lean growth going on instead of chiseling down like I am -- altho weight was at 185.1 this morning, so it's not like I'm disappearing into nothing here, recomp has been very successful..

Dude I love Sleepless in Seattle. I'm a friggin sap. I'm not a sucker for all chick-flicks, but if it's well made, with a good cast, I am...I like a lot of old ones...And by old I'm talking "Gregory Peck, Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman" old.

Nothing wrong with liking the classics bro. There were some good actors/actresses back in the day for sure..

Couple pics from here this morning.. I think I'm nearing the end of my run.

I saw Sleepless in Seattle last night with the my girl, too. We could have all been singing "somewhere out there" like Fival Mouskawits, lol.

I love Fival!!

Lookin uberaly rippe-diddley-ipped Snag-diddly-agency!!!

New name ShreddyMcSnagstein!

:D ohh nice..

Thanks all around fellas, I think some pics I post up tomorrow will look better, have better lighting with my wife taking 'em, and I'll be able to really pose..

I gotta say - so far, I'm not too impressed with the NxCare Ripped System. But it's only been like a week & a half, and I want to see how the diuretic portion of it pans out as well, so this is why I'm posting some pics up right now, so we can compare it to the finished product. I'm pulling all the little 'tricks' for fat-loss out of the equation, so we can judge this on a solid dietary/training approach on it's own merit.

A picture is worth a thousand words...lookin' great bubba!!

Serious aromatizer for sure...pop some ATD and you are good to go..

Watching Sleepless in Seattle positively affects T-levels through an amazing pathway!...

Wife cries raising estrogen levels.

Movie has happy ending raising wife's libido.

Wife want's to do things with husband.

You, being husband, engage in these activities.

Test raised, FTW.

You go workout. You get muscley.

Call it whipped or what one may but, doing certain less-than-desirable activities such as watching movies to avoid skirmishes with long-term girlfriends/fiancees/wives is well worth it. While Sleepless in Seattle is no doubt a cliched piece of rom-com, the ensuing fight and/or disappointment for not watching it, based on your manhood, is a much less enjoyable sequence of events.

Yep.

But I do like the movie.

I have two TVs. She's more than welcome to lower her test in the other room.

But Volcom - I think I'd rather watch that movie than talk about feelings...

Dude, I have the 40" A650 I was speaking to you about + a 42" Bravia; despite this, with a live-in girlfriend and/or Fiancee and/or wife, there is really no escaping it. As I said, watching the movie > having an argument. Simple concessions make for a happy relationship.

I'm just f*ckin around. I'm not actually a d*ck to my woman, just funnier when it sounds that way. :wiggle:

Seriously...pretty soon we will be talking about china patterns:smlove2:

I'm feeling a little bloated today..

SiS on big-screen and surround-sound...that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. :p
