Snag do you count sodium pre-contest?
Yes to both.. I don't really pay too much attention to sodium until the final week; use salt in fairly liberal amounts thruout prep, but the last week I kick it up the first 4 days and start cutting it last 2.I'm betting he does sodium loading...

Day #50 Lower Body (Low Volume/Heavy Load)
Basically same as day #43, except I was able to raise the weights on each set, kept rest periods the same tho. Still gaining strength despite reduced caloric intake..
Carb-up meal last night might've played a part; mmmm, it was good:
1.5 cups oats
8oz sweet potato
2 cups broccoli
1 large banana
As well, the new Prime dosage I am using is off the chain, really digging it!
5min light stair runs
BB ATG squats ss w/ DB RDL (6x4)
Leg extension ss w/ leg curl (5x5)
BB standing calf raise ss w/ DB single-leg calf raise (5x6)
1-1-3 tempo for training, 90sec rests.
Altho strength was superb, my focus was a bit scattered this session. Really the first time in this run I have experienced this. Had some things on my mind..
I just cooked my Fiancee and I a simple but delicious dinner:
2 12oz New York Strip steaks, trimmed of visible fat
2 Portabello Mushrooms
1 Spanish Onion
10 stalks asparagus
2 Cobs of Taber Sweet Corn [famous Canadian corn]
Uno's Olive Oil
Grill House Seasonings [delicious, and under 100mg per 1/2 tsp]
2 panes of cherry wood
Pound the steaks out, and rub thoroughly with seasoning so the kernels of seasoning take to the grains of the steak. Rub with olive oil, sprinkle a tad of seasoning. Repeat on the corn.
Heat the grill to high-medium-high, depending on the grill [though you'll need it high for the corn], and place the cherry wood [uncured, obviously] on the right side of the grill. Place the corn, in husk, on the opposite side [indirect heat] - repeat for steak. You want to cook the corn prior to the steak, so you can place the corn on the simmering rack to absorb the smoke of the grill. This takes time and patience due to the indirect heat, but worth it!
As the steaks and corn are nearing completion, spray pan with non-stick butter flavored Pam, and sautee cut mushroom and onion together until mushroom is tender, and onion is semi-transparent. Add the asparagus to the direct heat of the grill for 1-2 minutes a side, and serve with steak and corn.
Boom! Moderate fat [almost all beneficial], high in minerals and vitamins from the veg, low carb count [only the corn, really], and tasty as hell!
Isn't that sweet, what a lucky Mrs. Sausage.
I've promised my girlfriend dinner, then 90 seconds of loving. She can partition that however she wants.

Dude I love Sleepless in Seattle. I'm a friggin sap. I'm not a sucker for all chick-flicks, but if it's well made, with a good cast, I am...I like a lot of old ones...And by old I'm talking "Gregory Peck, Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman" old.
New name ShreddyMcSnagstein!
So he's an Irish-Jew now?

Mrs. Snags says it is the all-time Valentine's Day flick.Uhh... Sleepless in Seattle guys? Really?

Hey, if you want to kill your natural test production for a few days... by all means.
Call it whipped or what one may but, doing certain less-than-desirable activities such as watch movies to avoid skirmishes with long-term girlfriends/fiancees/wives is well worth it. While Sleepless in Seattle is no doubt a cliched piece of rom-com, the ensuing fight and/or disappointment fornot watching it based on your manhood, is a much less enjoyable sequence of events.

I have two TVs. She's more than welcome to lower her test in the other room.
But Volcom - I think I'd rather watch that movie than talk about feelings...
Dude, I have the 40" A650 I was speaking to you about + a 42" Bravia; despite this, with a live-in girlfriend and/or Fiancee and/or wife, there is really no escaping it. As I said, watching the movie > having an argument. Simple concessions make for a happy relationship.
