Big Changes coming to the Planet

I've always preferred global domination over mergers and acquisitions to be honest
Mergers and acquisitions sometimes make global domination easier.

update? :D

Investing in lab tests of the products they are selling to garantee the safety? big wish from my side.

wow wouldnt that be comforting to all of us, but so pricey I cannot imagine unless.............. they require this from all brands that will be carried and the brands must pay the cost and or supply the required materials.

Hmmmm NutraFDA :D

c'mon tell us something! :D

Sounds good.
How about a Consumer Reports, but for supplements.
The only problem is it has to be non-profit organization that is supported by the consumers with donations and subscriptions.
Whatever nutraplanet does I bet it will be awesome.

crossing my fingers for a west coast warehouse. make it in socal. i think there are some of us out here who need jobs :D

Very important question. Will it cause the cost of products to go up or down or not have an effect?

What could they be?

What is going to happen?

Does that fate of the world hang in the balance?

Stay tuned to find out!
There will be more info released very shortly.

At first some people may not see what the big deal is, but in sight of the scope of the industry and what the driving force is behind Sam and NutraPlanet, this is going to be huge. It will indeed allow NP to broaden, expand, take the world over...that kind of thing.

Once we have a concrete ETA/deadline approved, I'll spill the beans.
This thread sure is garnering more people's attention than I thought. I thought I would be entertaining myself, mostly.

Actually, there is a side announcement than Sam and Darren got matching purses. Darren still claims it as a man-bag, but we all know better.

I will say that it is not a grand moving pre-sale. Sorry.
Yes, yes we will. Gotta Make Progess.
I have...just have to be able to read between the lines; to be able to gain my perspective. ;)

G M P..............ok, what am I missing ?

ANNOUNCEMENT:

NutraPlanet.com has always strived to be a leader in the quality of nutritional products we provide. We have taken a quantum leap forward, and have begun the process of certifying some of our best selling products conform to GMP Standards.

Invalid Link Removed

Q: What does this mean?
A: GMP means Good Manufacturing Process. The GMP Certification program is to ensure that all elements of the manufacturing process are reviewed, so that products meet their intended quality. Third-party on-site inspections of manufacturing facilities cover such areas as: disease control and cleanliness, establishment of a quality control unit, test methods, expiration dating, and procedures for storage and distribution.

Once certified, member manufacturers are given a compliance rating. A member supplier must receive an "A" rating in order to pass. Those who receive either a "B" or "C" rating must correct deficiencies and submit for a re-audit. Certified companies are audited every three years to verify continued compliance with NNFA GMPs.

Q: Lots of companies say they are GMP compliant. Isn't this the same thing?
A: NO! GMP compliant and GMP certified are completely different. Where as NutraPlanet.com's products will be certified, meaning they have been checked and audited by a third party, merely compliant products are never checked in this manner for safety or purity. Compliant products have not been as rigorously tested as certified products, and they are not able to carry the GMP seal of approval.

Q: Awesome! So this means my NutraPlanet.com products are guaranteed to be pure of toxins,m heavy metals and to meet label claims?
A: You bet your bottom dollar they are!

Q: Why don't all companies have their products GMP certified?
A: Time and sheer cost. NutraPlanet.com has committed ourselves to providing only the best products to our loyal customers. We decided that no matter how hard to implement, you deserved nothing less. with the continual scares of contaminated foods, NutraPlanet.com wants to go above and beyond what is considered normal to protect the health and safety of our customers.

Q: Wow, you guys really are the greatest supplement store ever, aren't you?
A: Yes, yes we are.

Q: When can i start to see these GMP certified Nutra-Products?
A: Hopefully they will be stocked in 4 weeks.

So every single product sold at Nutra is going to be checked at time of manufacturing? i dont get it. Or is this just refering to Nutra's own products. EG not AN or MST etc.

Cool. Good to know i guess. Will prices increase to cover this cost?
I can let NutraMan confirm this, but inevitably the extra degree of consumer protection will lead to slightly higher costs, but we are taking every measure possible to keep the price as low as possible (Some unique partnerships); we all want to deliver you the goods for the best value. I think the peace of mind that comes along with the GMP label is worth it.

Edit: Apparently we are going to try and keep the prices the same if possible, not determined yet.

This only refers to NutraPlanet-branded products: stuff under our own label.

What about the actual bulks sourced from China? Is it just the manufacturing process rather than the actual raws? I'm a bit confused what this really means. I'm more concerned with what is actually in the raws when I buy them because the COA's from China I don't trust at all.

Excellent question.

Say our raws continue to come from China: they will arrive at the manufacturer and be placed in quarantine. Tests will be run to insure the material is free of mold, viruses, general toxins, etc. It will then be released from quarantine and then assayed against the COA. It it passes that, it is assayed again to detect heavy metals, other contaminants and purity. It is then manufactured where they have 2-3 safety checks along the way. they will also pull finished goods from the production line as assay them all over again to insure the products meet label claims and all other previous tests are still in accordance with the new data found in the finished items.

Each and every check and process uses a two-person team to test, weigh, inspect, blend, fill, bottle and assay again.

This is some serious quality control, and until now, could not be found in any bulk product, anywhere.

yes, GMP is to ensure the quality and safety of NP's entire bulk product line.

Good Manufacturing Practices are guidelines that provide a system of processes, procedures, and documentation to assure the product produced has the identity, strength, composition, quality, and purity that it is represented to possess.
