BETA - 03 Tipping the Balance

I train with a HR monitor. There is definitely faster recovery between sets compared to my "normal" with using Max Pump. The BP reading was taken 1 hour after workout. I'm going to monitor BP and HR for the next week. Nothing conclusive with just 1 reading.

Boxer's Workout Day. Speed bag, heavy bag and crunches.

This is my second cardio workout with Max Pump. Red flushing in abs today but no pump.

Some observations:
Since starting this beta I've had great sleeping patterns. Anything in here for sleep, I wonder.

Stomach discomfort only lasts about 5 mins now. Still taking it in empty stomach with 16 oz water.

DOMS is almost none existent.

Recovery between sets continues to decrease. Almost makes me feel like I'm not putting in enough reps.

I can't wait to see what's in this Max Pump.

3 mins with the heavy bag drives my HR well into my max for my age (there's that age thing again).
 
Yeah I really miss working my heavy bag. I need to reinforce the garage so I can hang it back up. Plan to pick up my martial arts training again here in the next few months.

I don't miss what the fuggin thing used to do to my hands, I was a amateur boxer when I was a kid. My dad had me on the heavy bag and speed bag when I turned 5. Definitely helped with my hockey fighting, you wanted tie up my arms or you were in for a a bad time. Yah the movie goon was far fetched but I played a similar game but I could actually play a little hockey also. I wasn't Doug the thug, they called me Bomba...
 
Yeah I just watch that movie Goon recently. Was on during one of the free SHOWTIME weekends.

Glad you guys noticed the workout.

Kleen, what martial art did you train in? Mine was Kenpo Karate for 14 years. Got my black belt and switched to learning boxing.

Snags, the Russian Bomba? Jk
 
I have trained in several styles American Karate when I was a kid, Wu Shu Kung Fu for about 18 months as a teen, Bushi Ban Karate (an eclectic style for 2 years or two each then trained mma style free fighting for about 1.5 years. I stopped about 2-2.5 years ago and want to get back in.
 
Just Bomba... I kinda looked like Dave Shultz, now if you remember him you're old. He was one of the broad street bullies you know the flyers team that caused the rule book to triple in size :)

Final rating after 15 days of running this.

1) Vascularity/Pump (1-5) 3
I did have a bit of a pump from this but it was hit and miss for me. Several other loggers had massive pumps. When I did get the pump it was a total body experience.

2) Muscle Endurance/Stamina (1-5) 5
I set several PRs with this during my 15 days. This is something I never expected. The effects are definitely additive.

3) Muscle Strength (1-5) 5
See above.

4) Overall Physical Performance (1-5) 4
Like I said this product yields effects that I never expected. The effects increase and are additive the more you take it. Stacking this product can only increase your returns.

The only downfall is that you may experience stomach discomfort for about 5 to 10 mins. I suggest one takes it with food.

5) Overall Opinion of Product (1-5) 4
Would recommend it for you lifters seeking additive strength and endurance increases.

Man I hope my stomach can handle it, I will be using it on an empty stomach AM and was hoping to take advantage of max dosing ...
 
DW the stomach issue only lasts 5 to 10 mins. I'd try it out way before your contest though.

Doug with it being nitrates you can take the night before with food if you are worried about it. I have not experienced any discomfort myself yet having done both on an empty stomach and with food. I did it with 2 scoops of BCAA SAA with no problems at all so that is something you may want to try pre workout.
