best whey 10lbs price and quality? need to order tomorrow

hey guys, so ive been around the block an definitely know a quality protein.
im looking for a pure whey, i cant handle casein with my lactose intolerance otherwise i'd be using protean by iforce.

who can beat ON 100% whey for 10lbs at $85

is trutein legit? any discount codes to try out?
 
trutein is legit but it has casein...

their (tru sciences) wheyology or isology might suit you.

I've only used trutein but would imagine their wheys to taste just as good.
 
taste is secondary to quality though... i need to grow. I need to make sure that when it says 24g whey im geting 24g whey not 12g whey and 12g of added aminos/...

I've been looking for a good quality blended protein source trutein seems to fit my desires perfectly thanks for the heads up

Vaughn's words reach ya eh? man... I'm REALLY concerned about the protein I ordered from MGN... that stuff was DIRT CHEAP. Gonna be a sad day if half of it is just lysine, arganine, and glycine....

I popped mine open i'm disappointed in the MGN protein that stuff doesn't mix worth anything. I can shake it, stir it, doesn't matter still won't full mix. And i hate drinking chunky protein.

Well they aren't getting a good review from me if that's the case...
Iforce needs to hurry with their new protein.
 
well i have used the MGN stuff and wasn't a fan and not only Vaughn has stated that proteins are Glycine spiked.... you can have high leucine protein sources or you can have high glycine protein and a Lot OF COMPANIES TEST HIGH IN glycine....

not sure about you but i need leucine to grow and with the amount of shakes i use it NEEDS to be quality....

still waiting for an old salty dog to discuss trutein whey
 
i got some MGN protein for cheap as well.....no mixing issues though....i actually like the taste and how it mixes....hmm.

From what I have seen Trutein doesn't really bother people.

Do you have an issue with lactose, or casein specifically?
 
I'v tried their trutein,isology,wheyology, and just their regular whey and its all good tasting and mixes easily. I bit pricey for me sometimes (college student) but its well worth it..

i have a lactose issue and im looking at the WHEY from truscience nutrition, the makers of wheyology and trutein....

not trutein specifically, sorry for the confusion.
 
All of their proteins seem pretty good but which is better for the pst workout. Trutein says it delivers for 7 hours but I think that might unnecessary as I take my post workout meal an hour after working out then eat regularly after that. So I don't see the reason for 7 hours of its delivery imo. Just asking for advice also I suppose. They all seem good to me

X2....I've enjoyed the MGN stuff also with no issues, but for the price you do have to wonder what exactly is in there since its so cheap
 
I used Truscience's bulk Whey Isolate (6lb bag). It's sweet and does the trick for me. Never had it tested for glycine levels but Isology has added leucine

I use Dymatize whey now. It can be found for cheap and it's good quality (USA sourced) and they have a amino acid profile on the label.

L-Leucine (BCAA) 10260 mg
L-Glycine 1660 mg

I ask because Trutein is pretty low in lactose. I have 2 friends who couldn't even handle ON Whey and are fine with trutein. Maybe grab a sample or two.

tons of aminos, only problem is 69 servings, some 5lb jugs i seen have 85+servings...

I'm using a tub of the twinlab now, got at a similar price at a brick/mortar shop...Vanilla, not all that tasty or even sweet, but meh, I don't care...Re: the servings, ya only 69 servings, but the scoop is slighly larger than most protein scoops, so 69 servings but each scoop is 25g/protein...whereas alot of other proteins are at ~20-22g/pro per scoop, with more servings...I just swapped out the scoop to get a few more servings out of it...
 
The Twinlab chocolate is some of the best I have had. It tastes better with water than many do with milk. I think I could eat it with a spoon.
 
only issue i have with dymatize is taste has serious aftertaste... and the girly wont let that fly
 
pro complex mass gainer 10 lb bags are like 73 or 75 dollars i love it. just tryin to help you lol
 
Mass gainers usually have a ton of carbs and only 15ish servings per container. Its a little different category then regular protein. I watching this thread closely, been a good read so far. : )

Ive also been looking for a good whey protein. I have been using optimum nutrition for awhile now but recently switched to syntrax whey protien isolate. It is delicious but gets a little pricey.

yeah theres carbs.. but do you really think id spend 75 dollars on a 10lb bag is there was only like 15 servings lol? taking 2-3 a day and i order 2 bags at least an order and that **** lasts a while..hence they are 10 lb bags. just saying theres definitely more than 15 servings bro youre thinking about the 5 lb jugs maybe

yeah your right 5lb jugs have 10-18 servings, i was just saying a mass gainer is not whey protein, as nice as possible lol 5lb bags of whey protein have about 80 servings in them. do the math and tell us how many grams of protein you have total in your 10lb bag you bought. usually a serving is 3-5 scoops for weight gainer, you cant just take one scoop you would only get like 5g of protein.
