Best Pre-workout

I didn't say you don't use them.

You only joined this forum to apply as an iForce rep, so its hard to tell if you would've recommended those products without being one.

So it just appears to be product pushing, you never recommended them on here before being a rep and now that you are I'm sure you will be doing it in every thread.

Hopefully, you at least know the products. Unlike some other people who were chosen....

In that reguard I understand what you are saying. I only recently found out about AM recently and joined to learn from people such as yourself. Though at the same time, I don't use all the products that iForce has so when something comes along that I feel i can contribute, I will give my two cents worth. I also would only recommend the products that I have used personally, which is the only way I know any of the products. Never anything just to post, just because. I could be a guy who just goes on a rant to push all products but that isn't me, and not how I would want to get to know the people in this forum.
Other pre-workouts I have taken from companies like BSN and Musclepharm have given me upset stomachs. So when I find something that I like, and works for me I try to stick to it.

I can't stand musclepharm anything. All of them have either tore my stomach or freaking made me feel like death. I could even lift after I took Assault.

And so the product pushing begins.

Oh, and you should learn about your products before you push them LS. Compete is not a BCAA product at all.

Fixed. I mix it with additional non flavored Bcaa's at times when I need it. Compete has 2500mg of amino acids per scoop ;) FTW. I've myself have used the products. I simply provided a link so people can further look into the product. No product pushing here, at the end of the day I provide info on products I've used. There are a quite few products I haven't used yet and I won't recommend them if I haven't used them.

It has whey hydrolysate, not BCAA.

For those interested, Compete is a very effective intra workout product. My experience with it, as a beta tester and later a consumer, is that it speeds up intra workout recovery, enhances focus, tastes great, hydrates effectively, and reduces overall soreness/perceived fatigue.

It can be used preworkout as well a
s intra workout, I know some people like hemavol+compete as a good non stim option and then put 1 scoop compete in their intra workout shaker.

But make no mistake, it is in NO way a BCAA product. VT made that very clear when it was being released.

A lot of people confuse Compete as if it were an actual protein hyrdo supplement or meal replacement which it isn't. Compete will provide a great way to get in a quick absorbing amounts of amino acids.

I can tell you that I do love Hemavol and Compete but I can NOT do the two together or Hemavol pre and Compete intra. I felt sick for some reason. I only tried it a couple of times.

I really do like both of them though at different times different days. They each serve their purpose and they are both relatively cheap, in my opinion

I also just got a chance to try and log Purus Labs Condense. It's definitely one of my new top favorites and the taste of the crisp apple is off the chain.

I really like the OG Jack3d and MAN Sports Gameday! Some of the best workouts and quickest gains I've had

Yea, Game Day! I'm glad it treated you well! It is a great pre workout. My favorite supp to stack with Game Day is SNS Focus XT.

I logged that last winter; effective but i had to drink a TON of water through the workouts.

We may have been logging buddies, on two different forums. :D

I enjoyed the combo a ton. Flavoring is unreal as well. Could really care less about flavoring normally, but as everyone preaches, it's insane.

Today I did:
2 scoops alphamine
1 scoop body octane
1g agmatine
1 scoop cit mal
1 scoop endurance
Fasted

Very nice...it was more for endurance and energy but the bicep pump was very solid

Still using the tangy tangerine flavors of both hemavol and compete as a very effective preworkout combo. I know it has already been mentioned and discussed but it tastes great and the pump is amazing. I'll be going back to stimulants soon and will add a third item to my preworkout stack looking forward to some stims. Btw typing on the phone sucks I'm so bad at it haha.

On mobile now, I mistype words constantly. Haha.

Tried any other flavors of Compete?

Yeah lemon drop is also amazing but I think I might actually be addicted to the flavoring in the tangy tangerine. I have random cravings for it so good. I haven't used anything but those two flavors yet but I've been told the fruit punch is very good as well. Will try it very soon.

I've had Lemon Drop and Tangerine, both phenomenal.

Tried hemavol - didn't do a thing for me. It did taste great though.

i actually dont like it. i hate GMS those pumps ruin the workout. and make it impossible to actually contact the muscle your working. i think it would be great if they took out GMS i love agmatine pumps though

Didn't get any pumps from it. No pumps or energy or anything. Other people seem to like it though.

What's everyone's thoughts on new Super Drive by Gaspari?

Jack3d advance is my pwo of choice by far. Sick energy, sick pumps, alot of focus and it tastes good and doesn't make you feel cracked out lol

Thanks for your honest feedback riseabove5! Jack3d® "Advanced" is a well-rounded product IMO and has quickly become my favorite as well.

There a lot of good pre-workout products on the market but there is no "best". It depends on your goals. For instance, I like a product that is heavy on focus but light on the stims because I workout at night and I don't want anything that affects my sleep. I also like a product that helps with pumps but is not disabilitating (some pump products cause cramping). I also want a product where the effects don't wear off quickly, i.e. NO explode works great the first few times but quickly looses efficacy. And lastly, I want a product that tastes good, for instance JPX8 is probably the best pre-workout product on the market but tastes like dehydrated puke. For me, a half scoop of Game Day by MAN and a full scoop of Focus XT works pretty well.

I've said it once, I'll say it again......High Volume can't be beat for non stim imo, 1g of Agmatine, 5g of L-Citrulline, GMS, Plantago....nuff said!

Stack it with Acute FX for a hell of a ride when it comes to pre-workouts!

^ Acute FX is not bad. Simple formula, tastes pretty good, good doses of yohimbine and agmatine.

Must remember supplements can have different effects on different people. For me personally it would go something like this:
1. Enhanced
2. RPM
3. Uncut
4. Lit-Up
5. C-4

Raising my hand rigorously! I'm doing this soon! I like the profile of Acute Fx! I have Agmatine on hand!

Since starting my x-gels run with high volume I have to add this to my tops, #2 right beside enhanced.

Pump and strength through workouts is great. Been playing with adding 1 scoop of other assorted pre's to the mix for a stim.

X-gels + high volume + enhanced
Highly recommended combo.
Lost track of time and worked out an extra dozen sets yesterday, in the zone.

Pretty sure you'd explode from pumps on that combo! ;)

Nice choices in products though.

I was close, lol. It was one of those days where I was fully flexed and vascular just lifting my shake to drink afterwards, at least I know nutrient delivery was optimized haha
