Was thinking of grabbin some Ajipure myself but I'm **** broke at the moment.

I agree with you on the Purple Wraath. I definitely got the tingles from it and it seemed to work. I used to just mix it in water that I drink during workouts and it always left an aftertaste in my mouth from the sucralose.

i recently been using vpx powershock, and ill tell you i love it!!! 2 scoops a day, 1 intra 1 later in the day between meals.
 
I've been using the following on lifting days

4 scoops xtend
4 scoops Core ABC
2 Packs Animal Nitro
1 Scoop EAA Nitro
2 Servings LG BC+EAA

What's so great about it, if you don't mind me asking?

Not sure what the BCAA nitrates are all about and I'm not a huge fan of VPX to be honest.

How does it taste? I agree that Xtend tastes so good, relative to what's out there, that I don't trust the label. BCAA formulations uniformly taste like sh*t.

well, i can comparte it to bulk bcaa's, and the LG sciences lg-eaa product. with vpx powershock i feel extended performance and intensity in the gym. placebo? who knows but ill keep taking it.

vpx makes some good products, especially fat burners/stims

it doesnt taste as good as the LG product, and ive never tried extend. i love the taste of the LG product, but ill take vpx powershock any day.

the grape flavor tastes like im drinking liquor, the fruit punch taste a bit better. i really dont mind the taste its not bad, but its not like i crave it or anything like that. i never tried the lime splash.

i recommend a 16 or 20 ounce bottle, the flavor is very strong, but decent at 16 ounces (for 1 scoop of powershock)

Do you know if they have the exclusive rights to BCAA nitrates? Just thinking if they work soo well, other companies (that I like) will come out with their own version.

not sure, i do not know if they do or dont,

i know thermolife has the protein vasolate which has leucine nitrate, and their cbol has creatine nitrate so i do know other companies are following a nitrate trend (or creating a trend)

i take cbol pre-workout, and then powershock intra workout, and my workouts are great. using other supplements too but i feel the nitrate products are working well for me.

not sure if it really aids in absorption of bcaa's, but vpx powershock also has eaa's and other goodies in it that i like. the nitrates themselves are beneficial for working out.

I love this product, Lime Splash tastes excellent. VPX is a great company, I have no idea why people bash on them. I believe VPX to be a quality company.

Sure it has a prop blend, but you can still roughly figure out how much they use. I think VPX is using BCAA nitrates licensed through Thermolife. Thermolife reps stated there is quite a bit of nitrates inside Power Shock.

i have tried almost all of the others listed so far. until i tried powershock i really thought most were about the same effect wise. powershock has become my favorite. why? when i do fasted cardio that sometimes lasts an hour and a half i will be ready to stop just because i am starving-if i drink powershock before and during i have enough fullness to keep on going-and don't get tempted to break into the candy machine after.

I just want to remind everyone... Keep things SIMPLE and suck it up ha.

Just get bulk from trueprotein with some flavor added. Put some crystal light in your mouth, toss in the power and wash it down with more crystal. It really isn't hard, its cheap and a slight flavor keeps it from being too gross.

BCAA are something you sort of need a lot of so cheaper is better unless you are rich

They are not water soluble. Supplement Direct offers a very good product, service, and rate of shipping - and of course an unbeatable price-per-gram. Cheap Supplements on BB.com offers stand alone raw AA supplements, as does Bulk Nutrition, and Primordial Performance. MUSCLEBASIX is also an excellent source of GMP micronized BCAAs... but I would have to surmise that your Nutra Planet BCAAs were just fine; don't let the slight bitter taste and hydrophobic nature of BCAAs scare you into purchasing a more dressed-up and flavored product with added fillers and food coloring.

PS: I posted this elsewhere recently... but thought it was worth noting in your circumstance: The tinge and after-taste of pure BCAA powder, although mild by comparison to many other powders, is just enough to make new users like yourself, look for 'greener pastures.' I wanted to let you know after two weeks of consistent usage (I shotgun the product and swish water in my mouth) the entire gag reflex and metallic after-taste will disappear and you'll be able to get through the dosing with effortless ease.

Instantized BCAA dissolve pretty damn fast... I actually just toss them in my mouth and wash them down now.

only been out about a week ;). Ajinomoto IBCAA product from MST with only a bit of sucralose for flavoring and all natural otherwise. Also has some added Ajipure glutamine and a nice antioxidant blend.

Intra Aid is the best i have taken. I've used LG's BCAA+E. Also tried Chained Out by ALRI. Taste is good but none in my opinion beat the taste and ingredients than Intra Aid. I'm a blue Raz guy myself.

I like them, the consistency of them seems a bit different than most BCAA products I have tried. Not quite as gritty and dissolves better than most. If you drink it in water it does kind of have a funky taste to it.

i see many products i can buy online for around $25 at gnc for $75 and higher. anyone who shops regularly at gnc is a fool.

Alot of people still like the immediate gratification of purchasing something in person.

It is also much easier to return an item if the need arise.

FWIW, I shop the red tag and clearance items at GNC.

I have found alot of supplements cheaper on sale at GNC than online.


I am just stating that GNC bargains can be had.

i buy close to exp date at gnc-if i want it fast i go to vitamin shoppe.
 
Aghhh come on stop being ignorant. 25 bucks for a 50 serving tub of GOOD quality easy mixing bcaa from GNC is a good deal! Its priced competitive 2! I can vouch 4 it its great stuff dont knock just cause of the label!! Thats just being ignorant. If it had a different label lik PP BSN or USP ud buy it! Come on stop knocking on GNC not all there stuff is perfect but is all of BSN or USP's stuff perfect!!!??? I also think they can beat Nutraplanet deals when it comes to a lot thing. They sometimes have buy one sports nutrition item get the second one half off! I take full advantage of that awesome deal! Ill go in buy a 5pnd tub of Myofusion 4 bout 40 bucks then get the second one for 20 bucks!!! Nutraplanet cant touch that!!!
 
I prefer ibcaa's or xtend, any other kind I've tried has had poor mixability, terrible flavor, and been very difficult to keep down during intense exercise
