Bam Bam Goes Caveman-Mode: A Training Log

Just gave SNS 500mg Phenibut caps a crack after some tips in a sleep aid thread. Tried 1000mg a night - not bad. 2nd night 1500mg & slept like a baby, woke ready to rock & roll, no drowsiness. 3rd night - 2000mg - no apparent benefit over 1500mg. 4th night - went back to trusty old valerian + melatonin (2.5mg, should have dropped 5mg) & not as good as the phenibut, woke a little drowsy & not as sharp as the use of phenibut.

I am extremely interested in trying Phenibut. Tried GABA back in the day. I have been using valerian root, melatonin, and a low dose of 5htp lately. I don't always dose the melatonin, but when I do I wake up drowsy for well over an hour. It takes my stim stack a bit to do the work. Any tips from fellow insomniacs?

And lol'd at Ambien. Got a sample a few years ago. I'm sure you're well aware of the effects, but it is not something to take lightly. Took me by surprise to say the least. It definitely works as described.

How has that nighttime stack (sans the melatonin) been working for you? Melatonin doesn't even really work for me haha
I have definitely heard of and read about the power of ambien. Will be using only when I absolutely cannot sleep.

The nighttime stack is okay, but it's just too mild. 5htp has been helping my mood throughout the day, though. It's nothing life changing, but it's become noticeable after a few weeks of 100mg pre bed. The valerian root, 5htp, and melatonin don't really help me fall asleep much faster. The stack (for me) is just not strong enough for that, but it keeps me asleep. Hope this makes sense..

Valerian I normally take if I've been a little heavy handed on the stims during the day, or trained late with a stim prewo. The adenosine in it counters the effects of caffeine. In saying that, the Phenibut seemed to do the job just as well, so a combo of the 2 might be awesome.
Oh, I'm not an insomniac, quite the opposite actually, I have adrenal fatigue & the dratted sleep apnoea bug. I can nod off in the middle of the day, especially sitting in class watching video :dead1:

Right now, nothing really. Kratom was making me itchy everywhere like a crackhead or something so I haven't been using it. I very rarely take melatonin. Usually the only thing I've been taking lately is the second half of my daily dose of Ar1macare Pro.

Not sure if you know this I did not, but the effects of Phenibut really don't kick in all the way for about 7 hours. You want to take it earlier and will enjoy it more. Relaxation, clarity of mind all of that peeks later. If you take just a little before bed you are only getting the beginning of the effect. I was not aware of that and used a few bottles being happy with my results then tried that way and was more impressed.

Scary on the benadryl, you can kill yourself with that. Not sure if that was part of the joke or not but if not be careful taking high doses. We lost one of our well respected vets on here from using it to commit suicide.

I noticed the itching after several of my doses as well. Last time my nose itched like I took vicodin or soma which both drive me nuts!

Haha! I can tell I become much slower mentally when I smoke regular. It is a bad thing for me I only have an on switch for that stuff. I have to avoid it or I just wont do anything at all, and become noticeably less mentally agile even when "not high". It is that damn long halflife. Not to mention the effect it has on my ability to have any control over diet. LOL COMPULSIVE... CHECK!!!!!!

Yeah with Kratom the itching was uncontrollable for me, I think next time I try it I'll go half dose and see if I still get some benefits from it without the side.
Most of the time I honestly hate smoking weed so I do it very rarely. Most people have stopped asking me to smoke with them because 90% of the time I say no thank you. I turn into a zombie. Can't talk much, can't think straight, can barely stay awake, can't move, and I hardly even get hungry from it anymore so I don't waste my time or my money.

Haha yeah my incline press and overhead press are like my two toughest lifts as far as progressing goes.
You talking flat barbell? I did 4 sets of 275 for 5 and a set of 295 for like 3 and a half on Monday, but I didn't try going any heavier. Trying to shift my focus from heavy lifting to more volume. My ego got the best of me and I need to remember primarily I want SIZE, not numbers!

Lol Jesus you're strong as ****. I was really surprised to have gotten 315 for 3 reps. I was pumped.
 
I'm really interested in running tbol towards the end because nothing ever increases my strength more than tbol did!

Damn I've heard that about the stuff, I actually originally had plans to kick this thing off with tbol, not superdrol. But then I found the sd for cheap and it was readily available so I changed plans. My friend who introduced me to the world of real gear loves sdrol, says he cuts up and gets strong as an ox with it, like stronger than he gets on dbol.

Absolutely. I really loved those bent over DB rows. Much better contraction and burn in the back compared to barbell rows or one arm DB rows braced against a bench or the DB rack.

So hard to breathe during high intensity legs hypertrophy lol good lord. Feels like my lungs are gonna explode. Can't wait to start cardarine, and I imagine that new Xtend will help too, once it finally drops!

Interesting that I feel like smoking is helping me cut. I only smoke at night after dinner, after done doing anything I need to do, kids, etc. And it totally keeps my mind off food in the hours between dinner and bed. Go to bed before munchies kick in. No bored eating because my mind is entertained.

I don't eat when I smoke either. I think I mentioned earlier that it turns me into a zombie lol. Can't do anything but lay down. Perfect for falling asleep, a great cure for trensomnia.

Well I grew up as a MAJOR POTHEAD! When I was smoking regular stuff I burned through a quarter pound in 2-3 weeks between me and the wife. I would roll full size perfecto sweets with damn near a 1/4 bag in them and smoke it before bed. Part of the reason I quit was that and when the regular supply went dry and dro was the only thing available I ended up with an $800 a month habit before I even realized how much I was smoking. Like I said I had NO chill. Some people get compulsive over speed and what not. That is my only compulsion... It slows my ADHD down and makes me feel closer to normal. I get crazy hungry but only if I eat. If I don't eat at all while high no big deal but no sooner than I start it is GAME OVER!!!! Something I just had to finally say no more too.

I decided to drop the superdrol a day early and save the last 4 pills or whatever to add onto my next run. Also will not be going over 20mg daily next time, I think it only increased side effects and didn't add any worthwhile benefits. 20mg though was awesome and I can't wait to do it again.

350mg/week tren ace (a little over 3 weeks left, unless I decide to extend the run)
125mg/week test e (considering bumping to 250mg?)
Whenever the winny arrives I'll do 4 weeks at 50mg/day

Humility is a noble trait. It's also great that you're appreciative of the advice & criticisms offered to you, it's always easy to get defensive but you take it all in your stride & come back ready to learn more. You guys help us all to understand how these things work & I for one appreciate the advice that the more experienced guys have to offer. We all know BamBam is no senior citizen & it would have been easy to blast him for running such products/cycles at his age. I'm sure if he were a noob, or on another forum (no, I don't sleep around on AM, this is my only gal) he would have been absolutely roasted. So cudos to you all for supporting BamBam & helping him do this as safely as possible.

This is from December 2 to February 25, sooo about 12 weeks difference? I believe these are around the same weight, too.
