The one you said was from Bricks. The one in my signature is something I came up with. I did it while listening to State of the Union though... kinda the basis for it.

Yeah, I knew mine was from Bricks, but I couldn't pin down what yours was from...now I know why.

Incline BB Bench: 195x8 - 195x8 - 195x8

Decline BB Bench: 205x10 - 205x10 - 195x8 <---- started to really fatigue around these.

Cable Cross-overs: 80x15 for 3 sets.

I think a lot of the fatigue is due to not great sleep the night before and playing 4 hrs of golf this morning in 100 deg. weather with a lot of humidity.

Anyways, more to come tomorrow -- LEGS!
 
and btw, all rest is about 60 sec. def no more than 90 sec. and about 2 minutes b/w each exercise. So its all very high intensity.

well circuit training targets fat loss,and heart health....if your tryin to bulk you need 3 minns between sets....trust me i train people all day long.....i'm not too much of a fan of circuit training...do cardio on seperate days,and lift on the others..you lift that way your just gonna blow your load too fast..bodybuilding is set training..3 min rest,girls circuit train..

I don't do this every day --- I cycle it in and out, just to keep my body guessing. Next 2 weeks won't be any at all.
 
Good post, I didn't know this. I was under the impression that high intensity workouts, meaning not long rest between sets, triggered the most muscle breakdown and response.

Then again, everyone is different

Part of what you said is true. Everyone responds differently. But I think it is best to shock your muscles every now and then with circuit training. I don't mean lift less weight, just push yourself harder.
 
Had legs yesterday, everything was solid --- all lifts felt easy. Startin to see some serious growth in my calves, somethin's workin...

Couldn't squat, bc my quad was really killing me for some odd reason. So I did the squat press, which went pretty good even tho the quad was hurting pretty bad.




Squat press: 820x12 for 5 sets. --- could've done more if it wasn't for my sore quad.

Leg Curls: 200x12 for 4 sets

Leg Ext: 2 sets with the whole thing on it for like 15 reps....my gym needs a new one pretty bad.

Calve raises: 275x20 for 4 sets. Then got on the squat press and did like 2 sets---forgot reps.




Overall, day kinda was hampered pretty bad bc of my stupid quad, that is feeling a lot better today. So I will be hitting legs REALLY hard next week to make up.

I am still sitting at 200lbs, kinda in a rut here, but still very lean. I have told myself though I won't sacrifice body fat to gain weight. But I am still expecting about 15 more lbs by end of this cycle and hopefully lose a % or two of body fat ---- I am just as low or lower than when I started and bout 7lbs heavier, so I am sorta happy with the progress thus far. Hopefully it will pick up here soon though.
