this is probably the most popular spam item....its called a spam musubi and im telling you every kid grows up loving these things. I enjoy um from time to time.

A few of my guys in my company would eat something similar to this at lunch. Their breath would smell like sweaty taint that hasn't had any air to it for a while. Ewww...

The higher ups who have the say in the matter are currently doing some stuff dealing with 3-AD. That stuff is HOT right now, so all the guys are really busy in dealing with that. It's to the point now where I haven't met my "annoy macedaddy on gchat" quota for the week.

They should hopefully get back over the weekend and get their stuff together and pick out a new rep. With how hot 3-AD is, we're gonna want that extra guy pretty soon.

Spam and Bud Light. Them hawaians have a skewed version of gourmet, that's for sure.

Contrary to popular belief, SPAM stands for "Shoulder Pork Ham". It was designed as a cost savings project during WWII, when soldier rations caused for a shortage of ham. Pork Shoulder was typically thrown out at the time because it was bony and sucked and wasn't cost feasible to sell. R&D dudes at Hormel designed a centrifugal process for mechanically removing the bones and cartilage from the meat. Although it was originally sought to be a ham-replacement during the war, the product caught on enough in American culture (especially in Hawaii :D) so the product stayed.
 
heinekens have taken over hawaii actually. bud light is veiwed as an old mans beer. haha.

yeah i had a guy tease me about spam and how it was a ration for wwII but somehow after the war Hawaii was all over the spam still.

I wonder how the imports are in hawaii.

What I mean is that if you go down on vacation to say Jamaica or the Caribean Islands, Heineken does not go through the same importantion processes as if you were to buy it in the states. I believe it's the pasteurization that kills the flavor.

Tsk, tsk, live and learn.

the lesson learned here, young padawan, is to not doubt one's own abilities! Besides, you know Macedaddy ALWAYS has a card hidden up his sleeve! :run:

I can't tell you the number of people that I WOULD have taken hands down, no questions asked, yet they decided they couldn't do it, or someone else was better, or they withdrew their app........I am ALWAYS on the lookout for talent. :D
 
True words, md, I guess I will have to wait until the next time, it will give me some time to write a fancy sounding resume, in the mean time maybe I will get lucky and win something in the lottery, that will bring my spirits up.

decision(s)? I love the sound of this, it gives me and some of the other wanna be axholes (this does sound painful, reminds me of a camp story, oh never mind that right now) some extra hope.

so this wasnt a position for a Anabolicminds member? How did these reps get picked here when they didnt even post an app? so this was over many boards? I would have thought you would want to pick at least one active rep from each board. I cant see how tattoopierced and bigboy got overlooked? myself included.

Oh well, your loss haha..

Adawg posts alot at bb.com, TTewell posts alot there too and at the AX forum. Not sure about the 3rd.

I was for sure thinking someone here esp you PP to get a nod. All of your posts that I have read are extremely helpful and knowledgable.
 
Disappointed to say the least, but congrats to those chosen. Not familiar with any of the winners but congrats to them regardless
 
come on guys, we dont know this guys but they were chossen for a reason, AX has as their reps people that contribute alot to this community and even goat lovers(i coulnt let you out sinner ;)) so lets just give them sometime to prove themselfs.
 
The apps were taken on here, bb.com and our home forum. As for the 3rd, gltrdone83 is big on our home forum. He's one of ma boyz. :) TT's also been there for a l-o-n-g time...my brother in iron. We basically grew up AX together, and now he gets his comeuppance. Adawg is a great contributor and is an excellent prospect. Can't say that I know him well yet, but that's about to change.


When it came down to it, all applications were reviewed equally without ANY bias towards what board they came from. People posted wherever they did, and we just took all persons into account and chose the best qualified from what we had to go with.

Thank you to EVERYONE who applied!! You'll not be forgotten!! Who knows? They could can one of us at anytime and you just might be the next AX rep. ;) Better yet, AX could GROW even more and we'd need another rep. I don't know...but stranger things have happened! :D
