It is kinda entertaining to see different rep comments I get, and I enjoy getting feedback on the things I post. I guess I'm just being a whiner today :whiner: .

I sometimes give reps to get your attention without having to PM someone.

I saw a rep of mine recently where the repper was repping me in a thread post of mine that he had quoted and wanted my feedback from his following comment to my post. I had seen his post and was not motivated at the time to reply. I got reps from him and it motivated me to take the effort to reply.

I prefer not to have rep points in my public profile. I have a reputation that far exceeds my rep points :hammer: ;)
 
I would love to see some new milestone images. Nothing agaisnt the people with dual rows of crowns and such but atleast then everyone (those without the chance of getting 1.5 mill and up) would be entertained as little images of midgets, flags, or even the occasional hooker showed up.. This is of course the current rep system stays intact ha.

Apologies in advance for how stupid this sounds (in fact dont think its even possible) but I guess Im still a whore in training and the humor isnt quite there yet?:run:
 
I have to hand it out to ya, OCC, that would be a pretty entertaining way to go about it.

Another idea I have would be if we can make it optional to show your rep points. Since mine (for example) is arguably an exaggeration of my overall contribution to Anabolic Minds, my biggest concern is that people are getting the wrong impression of me. I'm usually a good guy, but I'm not that good :)
 
I think the whole rep system in general is retarded, and wish there was not one at all. Although it is good for new members to see who is more knowledgeable and can legitimately answer questions, I don't think what we have set up here does that at all.

I wish I (like Bobo) had the power to delete all my reps :D

On another board I post in, one of the mods disabled the rep system for my account.

I mean, I like getting the little blurbs and the feedback on my usercp, but this number under my avi is like shoving a pair of tube socks in my drawers: it boasts something I don't got.

it's all those crowns, it's like when you become a star you get used to the fame and fortune and forget what it's like in the real world, begging, scraping together every lil rep in the hopes of one day having a full crown :D. I sure as hell could use some more crowns to keep up with you whores. Been here since Feb. '03 and I only have like 1-2 crowns to show for it :( I need some rep whores to show me some love. If I give you rep whores $5 will you rep whore long time :D ?
 
I think the number of crowns is more of a guage as to how loose your 'Repgina' is. You could land a freakin' jumbojet between these curtains.

I think it would help if the ability to do negative reps to people was also there, but then again i'd probably have negative crowns then too ;)

We used to have neg's when I first joined. Bobo got rid of them because people would just have "flame wars".
