Airborne goes Anabolic - Cycle Not For The Weak!

Do either one of you warm up your rotator cuffs before you lift? Or for that matter know how to strengthen them? It makes a world of difference. Im sure ya'll can youtube it if not. I get nasty tendinitis in my shoulder along with osteo arthritis and a few other painful nagging injuries, as long as i go in warm it helps tons.

I do Cuban presses and the rehab exersices for rotator cuff, I think mine is ac joint, I have pain where my collar bone meets my shoulder and its swollen around there, not in a good way, probably from a muscle imbalance, I was going real hard on bench lately and Not as hard on back as I should

Im not familiar with cuban presses. Ill look that up on youtube. I was thinking more like facepulls and the standard physical therapy style exercises along with the warm up shown in dorian yates' blood & guts video trainer off bb.com.

funny you mention the warm-up from Dorian Yates, as I had just finished doing those before benching and then noticing my seering shoulder pain...thats why I doubt its rotator for me, probably have to visit the doc this week if it's not better, which I hate. Lol

My protein needs to up... My diet is based on carbs and healthy fats... Then protein... It's hard

As long as you're getting around 1.25g per lb you're fine

I think even as low as 1. As long as you have enough carbs and fat to fuel your body most of your protein can be synthesized.

Naturally yea 1 is prob good but on Anabolics I like to see people closer to 1.25 to 2... We don't have any proof that its necessary but what we do know is anabolics increase protein synthesis so I think its better to have extra floating around then : )

I picked up some protein last night ya silly bítch

This is true...the less carbs you eat the higher your fat must be. Your body will metabolize the high energy fatty acids and utilize the metabolic pathways to convert into glucose. So the diet containing 1g per lb of BW would need to eat more high quality fat opposed to the diet eating 1.25g. This way you will avoid concerting amino acids into glucose.

You honestly think that 1g of protein per lb for someone on Steroids is sufficient? I think that you have google overload lol

Oh wait lol my bad I thought we were talking about carbs. Hahaha helllllll no!!! I eat 2g per pound of BW.

Even still my friend an athlete (someone that trains even 3 days a week) should be taking in on training days 2 g of Carbs per lb minimum... You have to remember that most diets and macros established were made for the 48.8% of overweight sedentary Americans.

It all depends on what your goals are. A standard is hard to establish since it is very dependent on the person/ goals. All I was saying that in terms of basic biochemistry, your body can interconvert any macro. Aminos to glucose, fat to carbs etc...therefore someone on a carb restricted diet, in order to avoid utilizing amino acids for glucose you need to cconsume more higher qualty fats opposed to someone who ate more carbs. Glucose is the cells universal food source. Your cells don't use anything else for energy. If your cells are deprived of glucose your body will start signaling metabolic pathways to activate and start concerting other macros into glucose. The point is to avoid using protein as that resort.

Right which is why on low Carb days you cycle the high fat. Protein should universally always be kept the same, however with the increase in nitrogen retention and protein synthesis I believe its good to be on the higher end.

And goals are poetry universal on a SD cycle, no? Get swole. Even still 2g Carbs on training days is the minimum for optimal performance in quite a few studies

My wife gets more protein then I do ;-) eh... U know what I'm sayin *shoulder nudge* ;-)

Its actually relatively easy bro. Just don't over complicate it. Someone can take all the hormones in the world but until their diet is on par they'll never know the real benefits.

We're not?! Just give her a coc meat sandwich! What's wrong she doesn't like bread?

I am probably taking in less than 200 grams of protein a day. With equal grams of fat. Staying under 30 grams of carbs a day.

What are your stats?

That puts you at 2720 daily caloric intake. That's what my burn days looks like. Also based on the information given your fat intake is roughly 67% of your total daily macro intake. Are you ****ing with me?

i only eat skittles and butter

5'7" 230ish 315ish bench(working on it), 500 squat, 600 plus deadlift. Lift 4 days a week sometimes 5. I am not known for joking around much.

Motha fuka is deadlifting 600. That's how real men do it. That's like 14 plates.

No 600 is only 12 plates and some change. With that said I have deadlifted 14 plates which is 675. Did it on 2 separate occasions at 230ish and 250ish on cycle both times.

Yeah this gent is good for solid info, i'm sure he's quite serious. No sarcasm, i've read some of his other threads (although the stories are hilarious).

I wasn't "calling you out" I wasn't saying that you weren't strong lol... You are not known for joking around much? Ok... I've probably talked to you twice so excuse me for not automatically knowing your internet persona.

I haven't really seen many people going to the extreme of nearly 70% of total caloric intake being fat 7 days a week which is behind my question.

At this point i'm genuinely interested... How does that fair for you? Obviously you're getting strength increases... What's your BF%? Again i'm not being a dick i'm asking with the intention of seeing how a high fat diet like that works for someone and what type of body composition it has on you. Everyone is different!

I didnt say you were. Well you did say stats and to me that includes strength. That is why I figured I would let you know. Well to be honest I do joke around a bit, but when it comes to discussing diet and training not so much.

Well it isnt 7 days a week. Right now I am doing a "prep phase" which will be 10 days of this. After that I will have a HUGE carb day with gelato(trying for first time), sorbet, cherry turnover, maybe pizza, chocolate milk, pudding, and jelly beans. Then I will do another 6 days of ultra low carbs followed by another carb fest. Then it will be carb city AFTER basically every workout.

That was kind of the point of being so extreme with my post. I tried to do that with my log title (http://anabolicminds.com/forum/workout-logs/199295-tomhawk-eating-his.html), but I guess people didnt think I was serious when I was talking about eating cake. Not sure where my BF% is at right now but I know it has dropped since I started this. I know it is higher than I would like, but I am concerned with getting stronger while dropping some weight to compete at 220(powerlifting). Everytime I have done the ULC part I have dropped noticable amount of fat. The only problem I have had with this diet is I have gained too much muscle. Was trying to stay close to 225ish, but doing the carbs regularly(5 days a week after each lifting session caused me to grow too much). Which is part of the reason why I am doing this detox(ultra low carb and high fat portion of the diet).

Right on man! I'm in on that log I'll sub later. I was asking because i've been working on my diet to prep for a show in November. I was wondering what type of diet called for such high fat 7 days a week which my mistake I thought you were saying you stay on that. For me bro that would round me the fück out lol!!! As far as stats I was curious height, weight, BF etc for calculating what you could be doing without the added info you just gave me : )

It really has dropped a lot of body fat for me. Was easy to see the difference. Haha ya I like to go above and beyond a bit. Plus this isnt a diet people normally come across.

Good luck in the show.
