Jerrod or anybody can chime in here. Weight belt and straps for deads or no or one or the other. I have always done them without. Yeh or neh?

It definitely helps brother. My grip is strong ill crush your hand lol but every chance I get ill use a belt. I need my own

Get a belt and work that grip strength. Hell buy some fat gripz.

I got the belt and straps. Just figured going raw would increase back and grip strength, but on the other hand, won't be able to go as heavy without hmmm...

My personal opinion, I don't care if you are deadlifting 20lbs, wear a blet. It doesn't help you lift more but it keeps things safe. I always wear a belt. For the straps, well if your grip is failing before your targeted muscle group then use them. Do not over use straps ecause you need to strengthen your grip too and over use of straps will just hinder true progression.

Yes totally agree with you here. Belt it is today and prob no straps since I'm only gonna be in the 300's for reps. Gotta get my confidence back. Thanks tech!
