6 weeks into first test cycle... more confused than ever. Help?

Quickly.

Im 6' 2". 287
age 33
Been lifting for 10 years or so.

Im currently running my first test cycle and while my muscle seems fuller my lifts have not budged in the least.

For example PRE TEST
Bench 420lbs
315x13


6 Weeks into first test cycle 335x10.

while I do look bigger... Im no stronger and Im wondering...

1. Should I up the dose from 500/wk to 700/wk?

2. How man calories should I be taking in roughly... Ive been getting 250 g of protein a day with a few carbs here and there.

about 2 years ago I ran 1 cycle of M drol and I remember by week 3 my lifts were sky rocketing... almost everytime I went to the gym I left scratching my head thinking "did I just lift that"

This time around ive had no such luck.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..
 
If this is a slow acting test base its going to take time to notice the effects but at 6 weeks it should be kicking in. 335x10 seems stronger than 315x13 IMO. Try upping your calories at your weight you should be eating atleast 4000 cals a day on cycle, also how much of that weight is bodyfat? more bodyfat=more aromatization=less free test.
 
You are eating less than 1/2 the protein you need........your probably catabolizing as fast as any benefit you are getting from the test.

Id say Im at least 25% bodyfat.

I was under the impression that 1.2 g per pound of lbm would be enough? Is this figure off when on cylcle?

though Ive been training for 10 plus years im pretty clueless in the diet department.

It just sounds like you are taking in very low calories based on that....'a few carbs here and there'??

250g of protein = 1000 calories...whats a few carbs here and there? 50g / 100g?

I'd be surprised if you are over 2000 calories based only on that statement....I weight 100 lbs less than you, and need 2800-3000 to grow.
 
My last test cycle took till week 4-5 till my strength blew up, so IMO you should be feeling the goodies by now... As stated diet may be the reason your not getting what you want so far... I lived by the motto of crap food in, crap product out and couldnt be happier with my results. I ate complex carbs, simple carbs ONLY after workouts, good fats and tons of protein. Put on 22 lbs, 10 or so of it was water weight, but kept the remaing 12 and Im 3.5 months removed from pct.
Take a good hard look at your diet and remember, diet is about 90% of the equation, gear and training make up the rest...

You definitely need to up the protein. Cals should be higher (most likely) and you'll notice this by the scale along with the mirror. I wouldn't advise cycling at 25% BF, but that's just me. Make sure you're keeping track of your vitals because the higher the BF%, the more risk there is for BP and other complications to arise.

Eat significantly more protein.
 
if you train for strength, you'll get stronger too... jus putting that out there
 
Diet seems a little lacking, try tthe seafood diet! U see food u eat it! Also a lot of us know, hell even if I ate one peanut butter sammich a day and were takin that ger id have some gains. Evaluate diet, and if u made the mistake of not doing baseline bloodwork, do one now! Ur blood won't hide anything and you might be using bunk or fake gear. Once u get bloodwork back u can pm if want privacy, or do like I did and post my stuff here, minus the name etc, and have these seasoned bros evaluate it. Sorry to say but once u adjust diet, and still no strength gains you might be injecting salad oil. If not exactly sure...I may be wrong but bros lemme know....can he post a pic of the vial here? Or at least the name of the lab that made it. But let other bros chime in, I'm not 100% sure that is allowed, so bros lemme know if I'm in the wrong. One last thing, for ods sake don't up the dose! Get bloodwork, find out if its even legit gear, and let us know what's up. The bloodwork comes back in a day, so 2 days from now u can have an answer. To get bloodwork refer to the sticky we have here, great resource!
 
test is not GREAT for strength- i never did expect strength from test (i no longer cycle)
